As soon as Adam reached the hall, he heard the sound of music and hymns each member of the choir carried the tone of holiness the music and rhythm seemed to wither away Adam's anxiety and fear leaving behind hope and courage.

Actually there are 7 churches and each church has a particular deity they believe in and worship, the two churches that are present in trier are the eternal blazing sun and the god of steam and machinery.

To access them, you must obtain ingredients with the corresponding beyonder characteristics and concoct potions. Each pathway has 9 sequences, ranged from sequence 9 the weakest to sequence 1 the strongest.
Now each of the 7 churches god has full control over some specific pathway for example the eternal blazing sun church has full authority over the bard pathway while the god of steam and machinery has control over the savant pathway.
