The Royal Academy of Avangard was the most popular and high-ranked Academy in the Avangard kingdom.
The Academy had one goal - training gifted individuals.
In this world people were given gifts that made them special. The gifts were divided into four main categories.
Healers - the source of purity and life.
Magicians - the dazzling talents which made kingdom shine brighter.
Warriors - the protectors of humanity and the source of golden light.
Wisdom bearers - the source of knowledge and divinity.
Those special abilities made people stand out from the rest. Each gift had its own uniqueness.
For instance, when healers healed people the greenery spread even more around them. Only special ranked healers had a breathtaking green mark on their forehead. It only appeared when they used their abilities. Most healers admired the Alvera family, for they had founded the very first generation of healers.
Magicians on the other hand were really playful yet sharp. They had that charisma but they rarely used it in a good way because it was their nature.
Warriors were the most adored gifts in the kingdom. Most of the people believed that this gift was only dedicated to royal bloodline since the first prince of Avangard - Theoren Avangard had that piercing ability. He was the topper and the crown prince who had the highest reputation among people.
Wisdom bearers were the most respected people in the kingdom. Being known for their incredible logic and knowledge, wisdom bearers also helped to create the main rules of Avangard Kingdom.
All gifts had several ranks and special ranks. Many passionate youngsters tried their best to get into Royal Academy. But of course, it was not that easy as many thought.
Royal Academy was deeply connected to royal bloodline so it had to met all the royal requirements of Avangard, which meant the rules in the Academy were really strict. Many students could not stand the rules and 70% of them had difficulties with special exam tasks.
Among passionate students who wanted to get into Academy, Lilith was no exception. Her will was strong enough to make Athenis tired. Athenis on the other hand, did not like being dragged into such kind of issues. She knew who she was, she knew what would happen if people noticed her true identity that is why she just wanted a quiet life where she could eat her chocolate and just sleep.
The only problem she was facing was - Lilith and her damn passion. Lilith dragged Athenis into kitchen, scolding her for being so passive these days. When Athenis heard that Granny Martha was not at home, she nearly fainted because it meant spending her whole day with Lilith and her words.
Lilith wasn't a bad girl; she just wanted what was best for Athenis, even if she'd never admit it.
As they both sat down Lilith sighed.
"This is serious now Thena, this time i am being totally serious with you." said Lilith as she looked at Athenis to see her reaction.
Athenis has never seen Lilith this serious. Her usual carefree nature was gone.
"Damn she's actually serious." Athenis thought, gulping and putting on her best innocent look.
Lilith's words were measured. Every thought in her mind aligned with one goal: the Royal Academy. She had practised this moment countless times - what to say, how to say it, how to convince her friend of her seriousness. She took a deep breath ready to move forward.
"I have decided to enter the Royal Academy. I need to train properly and i need your help. The entrance exams aren't easy and i can't afford time to waste."
Athenis barely held back her laughter as she saw that naive nature of Lilith. She sighed heavily.
"Studying huh?"
Lilith nodded immediately with confidence.
"So your only intension is studying i see. Maybe, there's another reason that you're going hm?"
Lillith was confused as she tilted her head.
"What do you mean?"
Athenis facepalmed realizing how naive her friend was.
"Come on, don't think i didn't notice. You are here not just for the exams but for him aren't you?"
These words were like a punch to Lilith. Yes, she had other intensions and this was enough to make her cheeks redden.
Seeing this reaction of her friend, Athenis smirked.
"Prince Theoren, seriously? Because of him?"
Lilith's eyes widened because Athenis hit the point of her other intensions. Damn, this girl is smart as always thought Lilith.
Athenis just chuckled as she took a bite of her chocolate.
"You want me to be your companion dont't you? Don't be shy, if you like Theoren-"
Lilith immediately cut her word blushing like a red tomato.
"Shut up! So what? You won't help me? It's not that i am going there just because of him, i also have other plans!"
She was frustrated at the sight of her own redness. Who was she trying to fool?
Athenis smirked mischievously.
"If you insist then i don't have a choice, but i am 200% sure that you will get distracted or smitten."
Lilith blushed hearing her words, as she immedietaly ruffled Athenis's already messy hair.
"You brat!"
They both laughed because of how stupid they were being but at that moment they didn't know that many unexpected things were waiting for them.
