Nancy finally broke the suspense with a sharp clearing of her throat.
"Ethan and Vanessa," she announced, "you've been invited for an interview about Street Verdict next week, I want you two to prepare thoroughly for it. The success of this second season is purely dependent on how you two will perform at the interview. Remember, your job is to sell the show, be charming, and have fun while at it."
Both leads straightened,but din't tense as they were used to media interviews.
Then Nancy turned to look at Bri as she added,
"The interviewer thought it might be necessary to include fresh talent too, so I want Bri here to join you guys."
Bri turned so fast she almost dropped the snack Vanessa's assistant had brought.
"Me? Are you sure?" Her eyes widened.
"I mean, Why me? My role in this series is too small. Are you sure you really want me to sell the show?"
Nancy gave her a pointed look.
