Midnight.
In a remote area on the outskirts, dense trees surrounded a campsite where many people were spending the night. The air had been calm and peaceful—until an uninvited guest shattered that serenity, tearing through the darkness.
A massive robot loomed in the distance, towering six or seven stories high. Its four spider-like mechanical legs pierced the ground with every step, shaking the earth violently. Its scarlet eyes glowed menacingly as it scanned the panicked crowd for traces of the Omnitrix, firing searing lasers that obliterated everything in its way.
Inside a car nearby, a forest ranger struggled frantically to escape, but the door was crushed out of shape—completely jammed.
Tap... tap...
The giant robot advanced slowly, red light gathering in its eyes as it locked onto the car, preparing to destroy it.
"I'm done for!" The ranger's eyes widened in despair.
Szzz!
A blinding crimson beam burst from the robot's eyes, blazing with deadly heat as it shot toward the car. The red glare filled the ranger's vision—he could already see himself being reduced to ashes.
At that critical moment, a green figure leapt in front of the car.
Its entire body was pale green and crystal-clear, like a sculpture carved from gemstones. Four sharp spikes jutted from its back, and it wore a black-and-white uniform marked with the Omnitrix symbol on its left chest.
Diamondhead let out a low grunt, raised his right hand, and formed a solid green wall before him—an unbreakable barrier of crystal.
BOOM!
A thunderous explosion rang out as the robot's laser slammed into the wall but couldn't even crack it.
The machine ramped up its power, relentlessly blasting the barrier, desperate to break through. But the fierce laser beams only refracted off the crystal, scattering in all directions and tearing through trees and tents nearby.
Seeing the attack deflected, Diamondhead turned, his yellow eyes flashing. With effortless strength, he tore open the twisted car door and pulled the ranger free.
"Th-thank you!" the ranger stammered.
Though terrified, he sensed no hostility from this green, stone-like alien—otherwise, it wouldn't have saved him.
"This place is dangerous. Get everyone to safety and lead them away."
With that, Diamondhead charged toward the robot, ready to finish the fight.
Not far away, Grandpa Max watched the scene unfold, his face filled with shock.
"That's an alien… Why did Lucian turn into that?"
Sensing his grandfather's gaze, Ben grinned.
"My cousin's got this watch that lets him transform into awesome aliens!"
"I thought he could only turn into Heatblast, but this one's just as cool!"
"A watch…" Grandpa Max muttered, his expression turning grim. He had been too caught up in the excitement to notice Lucian's device earlier. If it really was the Omnitrix… that was no small matter.
"Cousin looks so cool!" Gwen shouted, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
The moment when Diamondhead saved that man—it was straight out of a hero story. If only she had been the one rescued...
"Gwen, that's your cousin," Grandpa Max reminded.
Her excitement deflated instantly.
"I know, Grandpa…" she sighed.
By then, Diamondhead had already rushed to face the towering machine.
"Target detected. Locking on..."
The robot's sensors fixed on the Omnitrix on Diamondhead's chest.
At the same time, the view from its optics streamed to a distant spaceship—where Vilgax was watching.
"Petrosapien," Vilgax rasped from within his regeneration tank. "So... the Omnitrix has chosen its bearer. Retrieve it—no matter the cost."
...
Zzzzt!
The colossal robot raised its claw, and from the circular cannon in its center, a powerful red laser erupted. Like a roaring azure dragon, it slammed down toward the Diamondhead below.
"Trivial trick."
Diamondhead pivoted, effortlessly evading the strike. It then raised its arm, transforming into a dense forest of spiked protrusions that flashed with a cold green glint, aiming directly at the giant robot.
Those razor-sharp crystal spikes unleashed a barrage like machine gun fire, assaulting the robot from all angles. In a single exchange, the giant robot's body became covered in spikes, transforming it into a disheveled, hedgehog-like mess.
Its eyes blazed with fury. Powerful legs propelled it skyward, where it spun at breakneck speed, transforming into a deadly steel wheel intent on crushing Diamondhead.
"Duck!" Grandpa yelled.
The crowd nearby was equally tense, hearts pounding in their throats.
"Get out of the way, hero!"
"That thing's huge! It'll kill someone if it crashes down!"
"Stone Man, run! Don't clash with it head-on!"
"No, handsome alien! I wanted your autograph later!" a young girl wailed.
But Lucian remained unmoved, standing still as he calmly watched the robot above him draw ever closer.
BOOM!
A thunderous explosion echoed as the colossal robot's massive frame, accompanied by a violent gale, slammed down with brutal force. In an instant, it engulfed the Diamondhead, sending sand and stones flying everywhere while dust and debris filled the air.
"Lucian!" Grandpa Max shouted, his heart pounding with anxiety.
Ben and Gwen shared his worry, their eyes fixed intently on the robot's trajectory.
"Cousin, please don't get hurt," Ben silently prayed.
As for the others, they had already scattered in terror at the sight, their screams piercing the air. They believed the green alien had been killed, and without its aid, the giant robot would surely claim more lives.
But in the next instant, an unexpected turn occurred.
From beneath the giant robot's feet, a crystal mountain rose, its sharp spikes piercing straight through it and violently thrusting it into the air. The robot struggled fiercely, yet could not escape.
Pierced through its torso by the green crystal, the giant robot's body began to spark with electricity. Numerous internal components and circuits were damaged, severely impairing its movement. Yet as long as its head remained intact, it wouldn't die.
Soon, a green figure burst from the ground, standing before the crystal peak like a colossal war god.
"It's Diamondhead! Cuz's okay!" Ben jumped up in joy.
Grandpa couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, his heart finally settling. He couldn't bear to lose Lucian again.
The fleeing crowd, witnessing this spectacular scene, felt their spirits soar as hope reignited in their eyes.
"Go for it, Diamond buddy! Give that hateful monster a good thrashing!"
"Oh my god, getting impaled like that must hurt like hell!"
"Hahahaha, well done! Stone Man, I'll buy you drinks later!"
"Kill that robot!"

A series of mechanical prompts echoed within Diamondhead's mind.
Diamondhead snorted coldly, raising his arm to transform into a sharp crystal spike aimed squarely at the robot's head.
"Well then, I'll send you to the afterlife!"
