Chapter 419 - Kaol

The mini-sun collided with Angron's chest, its brilliant stellar fire raging, instantly piercing through the Primarch's skin and tearing open his flesh.

Most of Angron's body was consumed and ripped apart by the light and heat of the mini-sun; half of his body became a field ravaged by orange-yellow flames.

But Angron did not die.

Even after directly touching the mini-sun, touching a tiny star, Angron still did not die.

Endlessly surging flesh healed the wounds burned by the stellar flames, and around him, the constantly erupting wars of the entire universe appeared.

Scarlet, blood rain, weapons, gunpowder smoke, hatred, and storms of disaster howled.

Each war nourished Angron through the Blood God's blessings, fighting against the destiny of death.

Angron let out an angry roar, and blood seeped from the red-sanded ground. Angron, with half his body cycling between burning and recovering, looked at Khârn.

The surging killing intent made Khârn tremble.

But Khârn understood that most of the Blood God's blessings given to Angron at this moment were healing him.

This meant that until Angron fully recovered and healed the wounds caused by the mini-sun, he was virtually without the Blood God's blessings. Khârn only needed to face Angron's own strength.

This was significant, because the land beneath Khârn's feet was a part of the Blood God's domain extending into reality, and the Blood God could grant Angron blessings almost without limit.

Facing Angron, who was empowered by a large amount of the Blood God's blessings, even a true Primarch would have a high probability of being defeated, let alone Khârn?

"Now it's my strength against his strength, that's fair," Khârn grinned, crushing the high-efficiency pill between his lips, and the Portable Pyramid on his head also burst with light, stimulating Khârn's potential.

At the same time, the Speed-up Clockwork and the Powerful Super Deluxe Ingot (Trial Version) were also still working.

These tools were, of course, also Khârn's own strength.

Didn't the Speed-up Clockwork accelerate himself?

Hadn't the pill already been eaten and digested by him?

Didn't the Portable Pyramid stimulate his own potential?

When these thoughts popped into Khârn's own mind, he was momentarily stunned. He felt as if he was gradually catching up to Saint Doraemon's strange and unscrupulous logic.

Could this also be a form of corruption?

Angron's figure transformed into a scarlet heat current and surged before Khârn.

bloodfather was raised high, cutting through the air, aimed directly at Khârn's head.

Khârn wielded bloodson in his hand, every muscle squeezed of all its strength.

bloodson and bloodfather collided violently, and Khârn's flesh twitched and twisted, but he still managed to forcibly parry Angron's axe blade.

A momentary bewilderment flashed across Angron's monstrous, angry face. Almost no one could match him in pure strength, not even among the Primarchs.

Khârn had actually surpassed him in a brief struggle, which somewhat surprised Angron.

Then, a wisp of ash and smoke that could devour a hundred cities surged from Angron's body. The beast's body suddenly expanded another notch. Khârn almost felt that what stood before him was a Titan, a scorching, corrupted star.

And so, bloodson and bloodfather collided again.

The Lord of the Red Sands swung bloodfather and widowmaker in the most brutal way Khârn could imagine, the chainaxes screaming, but beyond the brutality, Khârn could also sense the instinctively exquisite martial art hidden behind this crude offense.

Thousands of collisions were completed in the blink of an eye. Although Khârn could match Angron in strength, he was still far behind in reaction, skill, and other aspects.

He vibrated the tattered wings that Raum had transformed into, rapidly retreating into the air. Angron immediately flew up in pursuit.

Although Khârn had wings, he was not Sanguinius after all, and lacked his agile movements, appearing clumsy in flight.

Fortunately, Angron was much the same; his body was heavy, and flying was not his forte.

Khârn seized the brief moment before Angron caught up to him, and violently threw bloodson at Angron.

bloodson roared, transforming into a meteor and smashing towards Angron.

Such a small trick, of course, couldn't stop Angron; bloodson was almost instantly blocked by bloodfather.

Khârn had gambled correctly. Khârn bet that Angron would wield his most familiar weapon to block, rather than use widowmaker.

Khârn's bloodson and bloodfather were a set of weapons; he was familiar with bloodson's design, and thus also familiar with bloodfather's design, which allowed him to perform very subtle movements.

He slightly tightened the chain connected to bloodson, and bloodson immediately spun for a moment, wrapping the chain around bloodfather's handle.

Khârn seized the opportunity to exert force with his arm, using the chain to pull himself towards Angron, kicking towards Angron's face.

But widowmaker was raised almost instantly, blocking Khârn's kick.

However, Khârn barely noticed his failure; his gaze was suddenly drawn.

He… he saw a wound, on Angron's neck, a shallow, moist wound, as if freshly made.

The wound seemed to possess a gravitational pull, firmly fixing Khârn's eyes.

Khârn was absolutely certain that it wasn't a wound he had inflicted, nor one left by the mini-sun.

That was… that was…

A name suddenly popped into Khârn's head.

Kolarng, the loyalist World Eater, who had rebelled against Angron on Istvaan III.

That wound was left by Kolarng on Angron, and it hadn't healed in ten thousand years.

The moment this thought appeared, Khârn felt surprised. He didn't understand why he knew these things.

But Angron didn't give him time to think; bloodfather violently snapped the chain binding bloodson.

bloodfather, in the blink of an eye, drew a deadly arc, chopping towards Khârn's body.

However, at this perilous moment, Khârn's body displayed an unexpected agility and grace, instantly dodging the incoming bloodfather with extreme acceleration.

Beside Khârn's head, Raum's head emerged, wearing a Take-copter.

The agility granted by the Take-copter allowed Khârn to dodge Angron's axe in mid-air, instantly circling to Angron's side.

But his eyes were still drawn to the wound on Angron's neck; that wound seemed to be telling Khârn, "Cut here."

Khârn almost instantly made a decision, wielding bloodson and slashing towards that wound on Angron's neck.

But at this moment, a wild cunning and brutality actually showed in Angron's orange-yellow eyes.

He seemed to have guessed that Khârn would attack that wound; bloodfather and widowmaker crossed, perfectly blocking Khârn's line of attack, trapping Khârn between the axes.

Khârn hastily dodged, but the sharp axe still deeply cleaved into Khârn's flesh…

Foul-smelling blood gushed out.
