Chapter 228 - Ah

"I am absolutely irreconcilable with those Keepers of Secrets!!!!"

Reyna gritted her teeth, watching herself in the data slate, delicately and demurely whispering sweet nothings to Alexander for the eighth time.

Alexander watched this scene, barely suppressing the smile at the corner of his mouth.

Sanguinius, sitting beside him, also couldn't help but chuckle softly.

Only Roboute Guilliman remained serious, carefully observing the fake Reyna in the data slate, who was whispering sweet nothings to Alexander.

"A Keeper of Secrets actually infiltrated Macragge. If it hadn't crammed itself into an unsuitable material body just to deceive you, what a disaster it would have caused."

Listening to Guilliman, Alexander raised an eyebrow slightly: "Wouldn't it be more dangerous for it to appear directly in its daemon form? Does it want to taste the Spear of Accomplishment or the Emperor's Sword?"

"..To jointly slay an invading Greater Daemon during a ceremony symbolizing our return would indeed be good publicity." Roboute Guilliman nodded slightly in agreement.

"A Slaanesh daemon that infiltrates in this form is more dangerous to mortals than in its normal state. During its time with Alexander, it constantly tempted him with indolence, love, protectiveness, friendship, and pure lust. If Alexander had accepted that final kiss, he could indeed have suffered some harm."

Sanguinius put away his smile, his expression also becoming a little more serious, and slowly began to speak:

"After all, your body in the material universe is no different from a mortal's, and I cannot even predict what consequences would arise if you lost your material body. The destruction your Warp essence, freed from reality's constraints, would cause is also unimaginable. Fulgrim probably snorted drugs and damaged his brain, to actually think of directly corrupting you."

"It's fine, I'm very vigilant." Saying this, Alexander shrugged his shoulders and pulled at his face.

A layer of clay was pulled from his face, revealing a metallic head with a small mustache—it was the Phantom Thief DX Suit.

This scene left Reyna utterly bewildered, and even Roboute Guilliman was slightly surprised.

"My real body has always been hidden inside this Phantom Thief DX Suit, so even a kiss wouldn't touch my true form."

"If it weren't for the intention of capturing it alive, I really would have taken advantage of Lei... oh no, taken advantage of the Keeper of Secrets for free."

"Ah?" Reyna let out a confused "Ah?": "Clay works too?"

"I paid great attention to the details when I molded it; everything that should be there is there."

Alexander said to Reyna while molding his face.

Reyna's mouth twitched slightly. She wanted to say something sarcastic but couldn't in front of the two Primarchs.

"He even molded two because he was bored." Sanguinius said with a calm expression.

The air fell silent for a moment. Alexander couldn't help but chuckle twice.

Roboute Guilliman coughed twice, bringing the derailed conversation back on track.

"I'm still worried about Fulgrim. He's someone who cannot accept failure, arrogant and conceited."

"He will definitely come again, because giving up is equivalent to admitting his failure, which he cannot tolerate."

Guilliman looked at Alexander, reminding him to remain vigilant.

Alexander, however, stroked his chin, recalling the original course of history.

Then Alexander took out a blue cross and a red circle from his four-dimensional pocket and placed them on the table in front of him.

"Fulgrim's next target on Macragge is me." Alexander asked directly.

Instantly, the blue cross jumped from the table and floated in mid-air.

This indicated that what Alexander said was incorrect; Fulgrim's next target was not Alexander.

This made Roboute Guilliman slightly stunned. He had previously heard Alexander and Sanguinius talk about the Truth and Falsehood Divination Machine and knew its purpose.

But this didn't seem like a failure for Fulgrim.

"If he doesn't target Lord Alexander, then who will Fulgrim's next target be?" he muttered to himself.

Immediately, everyone looked at Roboute Guilliman.

"The fact that you are still alive is Fulgrim's greatest failure." Sanguinius gently reminded him.

"Under normal circumstances,"

Alexander said after stroking his chin:

"Fulgrim will corrupt a mortal governor and suggest that you hold a grand victory parade."

"And during the parade, he will present you with a Slaanesh artifact called the Crown of Glory, which will show you many glorious illusions, attempting to corrupt you."

"Then he will face yet another failure." Roboute Guilliman said with a slightly grim expression.

"You can indeed resist the corruption of that artifact, but Fulgrim will not give up. He will use it to curse you, so that for the rest of your life, you will never gain any joy from honor." Alexander explained.

"That's typical of him." Roboute Guilliman said in a low voice.

"No, no, no, since we know this beforehand, why don't we turn the tables and trick Fulgrim?"

Alexander said, stroking his chin. He told Sanguinius and Guilliman the idea he had come up with while his mind wandered during the ceremony.

But listening to Alexander's plan, Guilliman frowned slightly: "This might put you at risk."

"Honestly, I don't think your value is worth taking that risk."

"I, on the other hand, think the risk is not great."

Alexander shook his head, saying that if there truly was a risk, he wouldn't have brought it up:

"Firstly, Fulgrim's corruption is aimed at you. The illusions he weaves actually hold little temptation for me."

"The mental risk isn't great." Sanguinius raised an eyebrow slightly: "But the physical body might not be immune to the effects of corruption."

"If it were corruption directly from the Warp, even Fulgrim would be eroded by your essence, but with a material medium, it's another matter."

"Your plan could also work with me, but under Slaanesh's protection, the harm I could inflict on Fulgrim is far less than yours... Of course, the prerequisite is that your current physical body can withstand Fulgrim's corruption on the material plane."

Sanguinius' tone was not as serious as Guilliman's; instead, it carried a hint of intrigued amusement.

He understood Alexander and knew that Alexander was definitely brewing some mischievous idea.

"So I didn't plan on making a personal appearance... I have an interesting thing I want to try." Alexander chuckled, looking into his four-dimensional pocket.

Inside the four-dimensional pocket, that stocky, short-haired figure, dressed in a yellowish-brown top and brown pants, human-like in appearance but entirely composed of Warp energy within, was slowly, bit by bit, taking shape.

Beside him, the daemon weapon 'Zandiares' snatched from Angron's hand, and the Keeper of Secrets that Alexander had just captured, floated nearby.

They seemed to be struggling, but they were firmly gripped by the large hand extended by the stocky, short-haired figure, unable to move.

This short-haired figure was an existence born from the mixture of Ka'Bandha and the Emperor's discarded death, 're-educated' in the four-dimensional pocket. Alexander could feel that this figure was essentially an extension of his own existence, a daemon-like Warp entity he had forged using Ka'Bandha as the basic material.

Or rather, this was Alexander's very own Greater Daemon.

And the appearance of this Greater Daemon, the more he looked at it, the more it resembled that kid Takeshi Gouda?

Previously, this 'Gouda' was on the verge of birth; throwing in Zandiares would initiate its birth, and adding the Keeper of Secrets should allow it to be fully born.

However, Alexander's Warp essence awakening was not high before, so he always hesitated, unsure what would happen if this Greater Daemon Gouda was born.

But after devouring the Dark Angel and resurrecting Guilliman, Alexander felt that his ability to draw power from the Warp had further improved. It should be a deeper awakening of his Warp essence.

At least, he instinctively believed that he could perfectly control this newborn Greater Daemon, this extension of his own existence.

Sanguinius looked at Alexander, his expression shifting slightly.

He knew of the Greater Daemon Gouda's existence, and it was he who had previously advised Alexander to be a little more cautious before further awakening his essence.

"Worth a try." Sanguinius nodded and said, "You should now be able to directly bring your power from the Warp into the material universe."

Listening to the conversation between Alexander and Sanguinius, Guilliman's expression was a little strange.

"Are you two... planning some Warp sorcery on my Macragge?"

"How can you call it just your Macragge?" Sanguinius' lips curved into a smile: "You've shared the authority of this planet with me twice; this is the capital of our second Second Imperium!"

"But don't worry, we're not doing any Warp evil magic."

Alexander also nodded in agreement: "We just want to create a Greater Daemon."

..."Oh, so it's just creating a Greater Daemon. No biggie..." Guilliman's expression was taut, and a few veins popped out on his forehead.
