Chapter 82 - Nurgle daemons

Both Joan and Marquite stared blankly at Alexander, who stood between the golden light and the murky rain.

Every drop of the pitch-black rainwater was filled with thousands of bacteria and viruses, and tiny parasites wriggled in the flowing water.

But Alexander stood in it with a human body, seemingly completely unaffected.

Even the pitch-black rain could not touch him in the slightest.

Marquite looked at this scene in astonishment.

This rain was created by the Great Unclean One Horticulous Slimux in Nurgle's Garden, an embodiment of the Great daemon's unclean authority.

Yet, Alexander walked step by step through the pitch-black rain, unharmed, towards Marquite.

Even the diseases that had previously plagued Alexander had disappeared.

The Adaptation Lamp, acquired for 1.6 million, was indeed powerful.

It not only cured the profane diseases entanglement on Alexander's body but also allowed him to adapt to all environments.

Even the profane rain created by the Great Unclean One in the Warp could not harm him now in the slightest.

"No!"

"Leman Russ! You know! Only this way can Ashford truly be saved!"

Marquite shouted loudly at Alexander.

"You clearly know! Why are you stopping me!!!"

Alexander looked at Marquite, who was almost half-dead, with white smoke rising from his body.

Marquite stood in the pitch-black rain, stubbornly blocking him with his withered body.

His body was covered in burnt blisters, hideous and terrifying.

"Don't you understand? He is the God of Death," Marquite said in an almost pleading tone.

"Indeed."

Alexander nodded slightly.

Then he punched Marquite's withered body heavily.

Marquite let out a mournful wail, then fell heavily into the murky, pitch-black rain.

"The Imperium is a cesspit."

Alexander paused, then strode towards the Warp Engine that was opening a rift to the Empyrean:

"The Imperium is a cesspit, but that doesn't mean I'm willing to go butterfly swimming in a real cesspit!"

The pitch-black rain almost submerged Marquite's withered body. He stretched out his arm, trying to grab Alexander's ankle.

But he was ultimately a step too slow, only able to watch Alexander rush towards the Warp Engine.

In Nurgle's Garden, groups of nurglings gathered, accompanied by various strange Nurgle daemons.

Under Horticulous Slimux's swaying boxwood branches, they surged towards the rift between the Warp and reality.

Currently, this rift had not opened wide enough for Great daemons and entire legions of Nurgle daemons to invade the real universe; they could not allow the Warp Engine to be destroyed.

nurglings, like a yellowish-green tide, rushed out of the Warp Engine and pounced on Alexander.

Alexander, with Superman Gloves on both hands, swung a heavy punch without hesitation.

The nurglings were instantly shattered into flying chunks of rotten flesh.

A few nurglings that were knocked away but not killed hid in the rain, stealthily circling behind Alexander, attempting to ambush him.

But Alexander suddenly turned around, pulled the nurglings out of the pitch-black rain, and crushed them in his hand.

More Nurgle daemons, carrying strange plagues, surged out of the Warp rift and rushed towards Alexander.

Alexander's figure flickered, and in an instant, he arrived beside the Nurgle daemons.

His fist, clad in Superman Gloves, heavily grasped the head of a plaguebearer. He wielded it as a weapon, smashing it into the surrounding Nurgle daemons.

In an instant, these lower-level Nurgle daemons were smashed into disarray.

Even the plaguebearer Alexander used as a weapon was swung into a pulp of rotten flesh.

Alexander took a deep breath.

Fighting! Awesome!

Alexander felt a continuous surge of power within him.

He turned his head to look at Joan.

More precisely, he looked at the faintly visible corpse on Joan's body.

Alexander had a strange feeling that the corpse seemed to give him a thumbs-up.

Alexander didn't have time to ponder, turning to punch back the approaching Nurgle daemons.

More and more Nurgle daemons began to gather before the Warp rift, waiting to squeeze into the real universe.

Just then, a flickering light suddenly flared behind Alexander.

The light rapidly expanded, exploding before the Warp rift.

The scorching light directly melted the Nurgle daemons invading reality, banishing them back to the Warp.

Joan gasped for breath, with traces of burns appearing on her body.

Alexander seized this brief opening, his figure flashing as he arrived before the Warp Engine.

Alexander reached out, disregarding the strange aura overflowing from the curved sword, and pulled it out.

But the curved sword instantly turned into ashes and dissipated in Alexander's hand.

Clearly, all the power within this sword had been injected into the Warp Engine.

Within the Warp rift, more Nurgle daemons began to gather, crowding and rushing towards reality.

Alexander, without hesitation, extended his hands, clad in Superman Gloves, and tightly embraced the Warp Engine.

A piercing shriek emanated from the tower-like Warp Engine, and the entire Warp Engine was slightly lifted by Alexander.

The daemons shrieked and roared, most of their bodies already protruding from the Warp rift.

"I've been waiting for you!"

Alexander forcefully stuffed the Warp Engine into his four-dimensional pocket —

The entire Warp Engine, along with the rift, was like a soft silk, forcibly crammed into the four-dimensional pocket by Alexander.

The daemons surged out of the Warp rift, plunging headfirst into the four-dimensional pocket.
