Chapter 37 - Chapter 37: Truth Comes From Fists

As the saying goes: Don't hit a person's face, don't expose their shortcomings. If you get slapped in the face and still endure it, you're a coward!

Rin's words weren't just a slap in the face; they were like pressing the sole of her black boot onto someone's face and grinding it in!

If they endured that, they wouldn't even be cowards!

"Brothers, attack! This little bitch is getting too big for her britches after we showed her a little color!"

"Kill her!"

"Catch her! Let's all have a taste, damn it, my aesthetic sense has been distorted since I first saw her."

"Damn, I feel the same way!"

"Go!"

To this group of minions, whether hot-blooded or lust-fueled, who charged forward, completely forgetting their boss, Rin shrugged, palms up and at shoulder level, as if in exasperation. Her half-closed, disdainful eyes swept across the room, and she sighed, with a hint of sorrow for their impending doom, "Why bother?"

Looking at the ugly, leering faces of those at the very front, which had turned from furious to lustful... Before the first dirty hand could touch her, Rin made her move!

Still as an ancient pine, swift as thunder!

A simple, direct right hook, striking the first minion's face before he could react! Before he could even fly backward, Rin's left hand caught a fist swinging at her. Because her hand was too small to grip the opponent's fist, she used her fingers, inserting them into the gaps between his knuckles and grabbing three of his fingers.

She took a small step to the left, like lightning. The person whose fingers were caught was forcibly pulled down as if his fingers were tied to a bull's tail. Before he could even hit the ground, Rin swung her left arm with force, and the person whose fingers were caught was directly spun around in Rin's hand like a heavy hammer, smashing into the crowd on the right!

She tilted her pretty head to the left, and a fist grazed her face. At that moment, Rin raised her hand and struck the forearm of the fist that had just missed. The fist, its trajectory altered by the force, struck its own person's face with an unstoppable momentum.

Rin's own body, after being tempered by Finale Magic Power, had already reached a preliminary level of physical strength comparable to that of a Phantasmal Species. Even if it was just in its nascent stage, a newly hatched baby dragon could not be defeated by a hundred geckos.

The Rin in motion now was like an enraged young dragon! Even without any magic power added, her fists swung with a wind-howl that broke the sound barrier, and with one strike, no one could get up to take a second punch.

The vast nightclub hall, with no less than a hundred Delinquent Youths and even triad enforcers, was utterly crushed by a twelve or thirteen-year-old (in appearance) Little Girl!

Rin tilted her face to dodge a knife coming from behind, and without looking, swung her right fist upwards. A guy seemed to deliberately crash into it, offering his face to Rin's fist! With a precognitive full-body contraction, the guy who tried to tackle Rin from behind flew directly over her head and splattered onto the ground.

As he tried to get up, Rin directly stepped on him three times: one step on his waist! One step on his spine! One step on his head! Each step was heavier than a thousand catties. After three steps, the guy on the ground was completely motionless.

Rin took three steps, then leaped directly, delivering a side-kick to the chest of the person in front of her.

The sole of her boot sank directly into the chest, sending the person flying backward, knocking over three others before lying motionless on the ground.

"Don't move!"

A furious shout rang out, and Rin, who was holding someone by the collar, paused, realizing there were only a few people left standing.

She turned to look at the source of the voice.

A dark gun barrel was pointed directly at Rin, held in Orie Shiroi's hand.

"Put that person down for me! In this situation, I can guarantee I won't cause any collateral damage."

Rin expressionlessly watched the angry Orie Shiroi.

It was rare to see such a good boss; she had refrained from using her gun to avoid accidental injury to subordinates who had acted on their own without orders.

But this was also the reason for the current situation.

Damn, they unexpectedly had a gun; I really underestimated them.

If she had shot two of those disobedient idiots early on to control the situation and unify command, I probably wouldn't have been able to deal with them without magic.

In the end, I would have had to use magic and kill them all, which would have made my coming here meaningless.

If you had shot me by surprise just now, you might have hit me, but now...

Rin slowly loosened her tightly clenched fingers, as if admitting defeat under the gun's muzzle.

But the moment the person in her hand dropped to the ground, Rin clearly saw Orie Shiroi's gun barrel waver slightly.

Rin knew it was because she herself had let out a sigh of relief, her focus was scattered!

What Rin wanted was precisely this momentary opportunity!

Her jade-like feet, clad in long boots, instantly burst into high speed!

One step sideways, she moved out of Orie Shiroi's line of sight.

By the time Orie Shiroi reacted and tried to find Rin, Rin was already standing close, within one step of her!

In that moment of panicked realization, the muzzle of the pistol she had been holding was already pressed against her chin.

"Checkmate," Rin calmly declared her victory.

Orie Shiroi instantly lost all her strength and said dejectedly, "You win.

Whatever you want, it's up to you."

Rin shrugged indifferently, put away the pistol, stepped over a few "corpses," and sat on a nearby sofa.

She casually tossed the pistol to Orie Shiroi, who quickly caught it, looking at Rin with a puzzled expression.

"My goal was stated from the very beginning," Rin said, sitting imposingly on the sofa.

Her small body in that posture looked amusing, but no one could laugh now.

"My intention is very clear: this place, from now on, belongs to me.

Your hundred or so people will be under my command.

Those who don't want to can leave.

Those who want to be boss are welcome to challenge me, whether openly or secretly.

I can keep you in the position of second-in-command.

Honestly, it's rare for someone as soft-hearted as you to be the boss of a gang."

Orie Shiroi held the pistol, frowning as she looked at the "devil-like" strange loli in front of her.

Ever since Rin stepped into the nightclub lobby, she had a strange feeling, as if an invisible circle encompassed the entire hall, and everything within that circle was controlled by this Little Girl.

If Orie Shiroi had voiced those thoughts, Rin would have been startled and then applauded her, because her feeling was entirely correct.

There was indeed a circle, and its true name was "Boundary Field"!

"Boundary Field" was also a technique Rin projected using Projection Magic when she broke through the door.

Like Unmatched Strike, it was derived from Li Shuwen.

The function of Boundary Field is to form one's Qi into a controllable circle, which can completely spread one's aura within the circle to hide one's presence, and also perceive the movements of people's Qi within the circle, with everything under control.

This was why Rin was able to fight one against a hundred without a scratch: because she was cheating!
