"No more work ha...ha"
Yuri, a 34 year old workaholic man who spends most of his life working in the office, decided to end his life using a rope at this afternoon.
He studied for 7 years and decided to drop out to work in a corporate office.
Ever since then he never had a chance to had fun in his life. Today is his "finally free" day.
The first thing he did in his finally free day in the morning was go to the office and badmouth all of his co-worker and especially his boss.
He spat out years of resentment until the room went dead silent none had dared speak.
The second, after he said he's firing himself up from the work he decided to go to the clothes shop that he has been eyeing for years.
He doesn't care about the looks of the employees that are giving him, instead he immediately went for the tuxedo and black pants, both luxurious.
In the first time in his life, he didn't even need to see the price tag, in the past even if the cup noodles just rised up for a few cents he will complain to the company.
Finally suited up, he marched to the luxurious restaurant under the hot rays of the sunlight.

"Can I have this, and this too...also this one it looks good" yuri ordered food like a madman.
"Sir...you do know that these are expensive right?"
"I don't care about the price"
The waiter's mind was blown, he had never seen anyone buy their expensive foods recklessly,
"he even shrugged out the price as if it was not a big deal, I must call my manager" the waiter muttered to himself.
"Uhm...wait here big shot I'm going to call the manager" the waiter said nervously before coming back with the manager.
"May I ask what's your name big shot?" the manager approached with ordinary question.
"Yuri everhart" yuri said while fixing his glasses, but the manager perceived it different he saw that the man was getting annoyed by him.
"Right...right, anyway we prepared a table just for you, in that vip room" the manager said while pointing at the room with "vip" written on top.
The commotion attracts the customers attention, if the manager had come personally, then that man must've been so rich.
It made the customers walked up to him, and soon enough people had surrounded him offering various stocks and some, weirdly enough tried offering their daughter to get married to him.
Manager upon seeing the commotion, called the bodyguard to escort him to the vip room to have a personal talk with him.
Finally inside, there's no other person, but yuri and the manager. they sat together on seat that looks more like a throne than "chair"
"So, big shot...I know this is embarrassing for me to say but we need to keep up this restaurant because it's kinda dying right? so uhm, we need money to advertise our restaurant, I'll appreciate it if you could maybe fund us, my boss doesn't give a cent..."
Yuri just forced a smile, he couldn't say anything but the manager thought he was mocking him for his unusual behavior.
The manager tensed up, "did i say too much?! he muttered, if this man got away because of him then his boss who's busy with girls would instantly fire him.
Yuri, who hasn't eaten anything suddenly felt a sharp pain in his stomach, causing his face to turn dead serious.
"EEK" the manager flinched, "is he angry that I suddenly brought up that topic? or is our restaurant aren't worthy of his money"
"Hey...i'm going now" yuri said while forcing himself not to make any reactions with the pain in his stomach, he hasn't eaten anything since yesterday.
Before the manager can even said anything yuri was nowhere to be found, he had escaped sneakily.

"Slurp" because he couldn't eat at the restaurant therefore, he just decided to eat at his usual place, which is the convenience store.
The steaming cup noodles was gone by in a flash, that's how hungry yuri had become.
"Burp, that should be all there is, i can finally end my life" Saying that, he gripped the rope in his pocket thinking he can finally end this boring life.
Yuri stared at the sunset and smiled, "Today was my final day huh, i never felt this excited in my whole life..."
But before he could even go out and kill himself something miraculous happened, a red portal suddenly appeared outside.
Aside from the portal appearing everything seemed fine but the news on the television broke that thought.
"Red portals, these things are ticking bombs monsters will pour once the 20-minute count down has ended, it's happening all around the world and our government was desperately trying to fend off the monsters but human weapons deals little to no damage.
But from this incident brings "awakeners" awakeners will get boost in physical capabilities but along with it is powers, people had found themselves controlling various elements out of nowhere.
If you found yourselves near a portal no matter what you do, don't get close to it and evacuate immediately and if you're awakener please help other people survive this chaos.
There's no apparent reason as to why this portals that connects to other dimensions YET, Aria, the famous scientist and her team are still investigating

While the other people beside him run desperately he, yuri sat there waiting for death with a smile on his face.
"Come at me gremlins i want to die now"
While the others are panicking one stood amongst the rest.
An awakener, desperately trying to evacuate as many people as he can.
Minutes had gone by in a flash, there's no people in the streets anymore, making yuri somewhat impressed about how fast they took care of the evacuations.
"Creakk" the door squeaked as someone opened it outside, it was the same awakener earlier and he looks...tired
"HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" the man that's wearing black pants and black shirt shouted at yuri who's sitting on the chair comfortably.
"Don't mind it, there's 5 more minutes go on, escape now." yuri said with the same nonchalant attitude.
The man gritted his teeth, "This man is bad at counting"
Because only after few seconds a piranha that's walking on two legs walked out of the portal.
