The Legend of Elladan

That world, once inhabited only by the fae, was invaded by humans. The ancient race was betrayed and wiped out, leaving only Prince Elladan as the sole survivor.

To protect himself, he built his own fortress. Over time, he began sheltering refugees from human wars, and a few dozen soon became thousands—thus, the Aldain Empire was born. Elladan planned his army with the future in mind, but he had not foreseen that the general he personally chose and trained would act against his teachings. While she led the troops in an attempt to exterminate an entire civilization, Elladan guided his people through a secret passage, saving them from certain death.

He promised to bring back anyone who wished to return, but when the opportunity came, none chose to leave—they had already established lives of their own. After this betrayal, Elladan swore never again to trust humans to command his army. As a result, he personally managed all of Aldain's most challenging affairs, filling his days with ceaseless duties. His name now echoes across the minds of all beings in that universe, revered as the God of War, honored for both his prowess in battle and his merciful heart. Yet there are also those who fear his power, avoiding his gaze at all costs.

The Origin of Isolda

She was none other than Isolda—the general who dared betray her master, Elladan. The whispers of the oracles had foretold that Elladan would marry the noble princess of a neighboring kingdom. Obsessed with Elladan, Isolda devised a plan to justify her rebellion, intending to annihilate Aldara's kingdom in a desperate attempt to prevent her master's union.

When her plan failed, fully aware that Elladan would never forgive her, Isolda chose to free herself from her torment—taking her own life. Elladan, unwilling to accept her loss, tirelessly sought a way to bring her back. Every attempt failed, until he discovered a method to cultivate Isolda's spiritual essence in the ideal vessel. With unwavering determination, he spared no effort.

When fate brought the princess Aldara into his path once more, he knew exactly what needed to be done. Isolda, in her new vessel, required time to recover the fragments of her incomplete spirit. She could not yet express complex emotions or fully comprehend the world around her. Respecting the time she needed, Elladan withdrew and waited. Yet, he never imagined he would lose her again so swiftly.
