Approximately half an hour later.
Thud!
After several rounds of exchanges, the tall and slender Digimon, reputed as the Planet Digimon's favored son, Omegamon, knelt on one knee.
Taichi's face was deathly pale. Omegamon, the fusion of Gabumon borrowed from Yamato and his own Agumon after the Ultimate Evolution, was their world's final trump card.
But now...
"Surrender, Taichi," Akari said gently. Even an outsider could see the outcome was decided.
"How could I!?" Omegamon gritted its teeth and stood up from the ground, swinging the Grey Sword on its left hand as it charged forward again.
An ordinary battle was one thing, but this fight concerned the survival of their world! Even if there was a sliver of hope, he absolutely could not give up!
Instantly, the resolute slashes filled the entire space, erupting with the destructive power of a Super Ultimate-level.
This was a force that 99% of Pokémon in the Planet Pokémon, even Legendaries, could not withstand. Unfortunately, however, what stood before Omegamon now was...
"...Judgment!" Akari took a shallow breath, waved her hand, and commanded in a low voice.
The Pokémon World's creator god slightly raised its head, condensing a sphere of light symbolizing the power of origin above it.
In the next instant, it burst apart like bright fireworks. Countless particles of light, radiating endless power, aimed at the opponent.
Arceus's signature move… Judgment! A unique skill that could automatically change its type to one super effective against the opponent based on their attributes!
Omegamon swung its Grey Sword, destroying a few of the streaming light particles. However, the next instant, one of them struck the very center of its chest. It let out a pained cry as its white armor with blue patterns completely caved in.
Omegamon's tall, slender body then flew backward like a cannonball.
Boom!
Omegamon crashed directly against the barrier separating the arena from the audience stands. The barrier set by the Grand Kai was not so easily broken. But even so, the live audience behind it felt a strong tremor.
Looking down, they saw Omegamon lying on its back, a huge, bloody hole caved in on its chest. A few seconds later, its burly body radiated light, splitting into two glowing spheres. They turned into the In-Training-level Koromon and Motimon. Clearly, they had no more fighting capacity left.
"Winner decided!" The commentator waved his hand and shouted: "The winner is contestant Akari from the South Galaxy!"
Upon hearing this, the Planet Pokémon erupted in celebration. Although Lott had previously said that if the Planet Pokémon were destroyed, he could help wish it back with the Dragon Balls… and given Lott's connections, if he just said a word to the Grand Kai, he might even sell him the favor and turn a blind eye to the Planet Pokémon… still, no one wanted to die once, no matter what.
In stark contrast to the people of the Planet Pokémon were the inhabitants of the Planet Digimon.
"I, I... I've failed everyone..." Taichi fell to his knees, hugging Koromon and Motimon as he wept bitterly.
"Onii-chan!" At that moment, a familiar voice reached Taichi's ears. Taichi, with snot and tears all over his face, looked up to find the petite figure he was most worried about throwing herself into his arms.
"H-Hikari... h-how are you here?" Taichi asked, stunned.
"Lott-san brought us here." Another familiar figure approached quickly… it was Izumi Koushiro, another reliable member of the DigiDestined.
Taichi wiped the snot from his face and bowed repeatedly. "L-Lott-san, th-thank you so much!"
"No need for thanks. I'm not helping you. It's just that the Planet Digimon being destroyed is too much of a pity." Lott glanced at him, opened the chat group, and @-ed Bulma: [Have they been transferred over yet?]
[Bulma: Yes. It's just that I'm still researching that Crest. This is a really interesting world. It's on the same planet, yet divided into a Digital World and a real world.]
Taichi was full of question marks, completely unable to understand the situation.
Izumi Koushiro explained beside him. While Taichi was fighting Akari, Lott had taken Bulma to the Planet Digimon via Instant Transmission and transferred the Planet Digimon's data to Planet Terra.
Because the Planet Digimon's situation was special, with the Digital World where Digimon lived was, ultimately, just a bunch of data, it could be transferred.
And Bulma, truly living up to being the universe's number one genius scientist, managed to transfer the Planet Digimon's data to Planet Terra in less than half an hour.
"So this is a Digimon? It feels so cute, here boy boy boy~" Akari, having secured her planet's safety, was distracted by a small dragon wearing silver armor and a red cape following at Lott's feet.
Hackmon sniffed the hand Akari extended, then turned its head away, uninterested.
"Wait! Is it just the two of you who came? What about Yamato? What about Sora?!" At this point, Taichi realized something. If the Digital World of their planet was transferred to Planet Terra by Bulma, then what about the real world?!
Hikari and Koushiro looked awkward.
"L-Lott-san..." Taichi looked at Lott with a pleading expression.
"Don't push your luck." Lott didn't need to ask to know what this kid wanted to say. But the reason he transferred the Digital World's data to Planet Terra was simply because he felt it would be a shame for those Digimon to be lost.
As for the humans' lives... sorry, that's none of his business.
Lott then pinched the scruff of Hackmon's neck and gave it a couple of strokes.
He thought of giving this one to Videl. That girl doesn't have much martial arts talent, so being a Tamer might suit her well.
While Lott was petting the dragon, the commentator raised his hand and shouted: "Then let the second round begin! Contestant Ryomen Sukuna from the West Galaxy's Planet Jujutsu, versus contestant Uchiha Sasuke from the North Galaxy's Planet Ninja!"
Seeing the two who took the stage, Lott couldn't help but chuckle lightly, "This matchup is quite interesting."
'Two guys who like to show off, and with a heavy dose of... a certain vibe.'
"I thought the Planet Ninja's representative would be Naruto," Lott said with a laugh.
Sasuke, whose hair was quite a bit longer than before, paused for a moment, then said in an unruffled tone after a few seconds, "That guy is too soft-hearted. It's better if I do it."
If it were anyone else, Sasuke wouldn't have deigned to answer, but seeing it was Lott speaking, he hesitated for a moment and still gave him the respect.
Ryomen Sukuna, possessing Fushiguro Megumi's body, narrowed his eyes at Sasuke, oozing arrogance. "You're holding your head too high. Get on your kne-"
Before he could finish the last word, Sasuke's killing intent surged skyward. An intangible murderous aura turned into a substantial storm, blowing wildly through his black hair that originally covered his forehead, revealing the left eye with its six tomoe Rinnegan that had been hidden by his hair.
"So you see, bloodline is really important," Lott remarked. He had heard from Tsunade about what happened with Naruto and Sasuke. After the Grand Kai decided to hold the Universe's Number One Martial Arts Tournament, the Sage of Six Paths, that old schemer who had been hiding within Naruto and Sasuke via the Otsutsuki Clan's [Kama] technique, stopped hiding.
He directly gave them their power-ups. Just like in the original work, Naruto received the Six Paths Sage Mode's Yang power, capable of manipulating Truth-Seeking Balls and perfectly controlling Tailed Beast power. And Sasuke, even before awakening his Mangekyo Sharingan, directly received the six-tomoe Rinnegan.
Although it felt a bit like forcing growth, one had to admit, it made Rock Lee, whom Might Guy praised as the [Genius of Hard Work] earlier in the series, look even more like a clown in comparison.
