Chapter 132 - Chapter 132 – The Iron Knight Corps Blueprint! The Enlightenment’s Power System!

[Iron Knight]

Origin: Minecraft

Type: Hybrid War Unit

Effect: Created through Iron Golem Synthesis, this golem links to a Redstone Intelligence Core and merges with the One-Time Skin: Mechanical Style. It possesses the following traits: War Unit, War Intelligence, Gear Body, and Steam Power.

War Unit: When this trait is active, the iron golem evolves into an Iron Knight—an upgraded version of the original guardian unit. Its internal structure converts into a steam-gear framework, and its power source changes to redstone energy.

War Intelligence: Links with the Redstone Intelligence Core, granting tactical understanding and the ability to execute operator commands—such as squad raids, sieges, and rescues—within the redstone signal range (maximum effective diameter: 3,000 m).

Gear Body: Powered by steam, its output strength dramatically increases. However, the exposed gear joints create weak points, though they can be repaired with iron ore.

Steam Power: When consuming redstone energy, the Iron Knight achieves far superior attributes than a normal iron golem. At full power, its Strength is fixed at E, Constitution at E++, and Agility at F++.

"Huh… what?"

Ren blinked in confusion as he withdrew his hand. The stats of the Iron Golem—no, the Iron Knight—were nothing like before.

After studying it for a bit, he realized the Redstone Intelligence Core wasn't merely a computational add-on.

In truth, once linked, the core became the brain of the golem—not just a static formula module.

It was the difference between 1 + 1 > 1.

The Iron Knight's base parameters were all at E-Rank—comparable to pirates with bounties in the millions, only one tier below monsters like Arlong or Don Krieg.

"Damn… this is nuts. High strength, endless stamina, and no complaints. A perfect twenty-four-hour worker."

Ren looked around the deck of the Enlightenment. There were twelve Iron Knights in total—the exact number of cores he'd managed to link.

The reason it wasn't more? The iron-farm machine only produced enough ingots for twelve units… and the lottery had only given him twelve pumpkin heads anyway.

But to make these two-meter-tall beasts move, he'd still need Redstone Blocks.

Ren began another lottery draw—and instantly realized why the Iron Knights were so strong.

Redstone Blocks, just like Mana Crystals, only dropped from the 1 Million Beli VIP Pool.

[Redstone]

Origin: Minecraft

Type: Energy Source

Effect: A redstone block condensed with immense energy, usable as a power source for redstone technology. Due to being outside its native world and lacking rule stability, redstone cannot serve as infinite energy.

Each Iron Knight required one Redstone Block to activate—twelve in total, costing a staggering 12 million Beli.

According to the light-screen prompt, one block could power a unit for fifteen days of labor. But in combat, the duration depended on battle intensity—at full output, it might last only a single day.

Ren clicked his tongue. "Pricey… but worth it."

Still, the Iron Knights perfectly compensated for the crew's biggest weakness—manpower.

Including Chester, they only had four people and one dog.

The Enlightenment was three times larger than the Pipi Shrimp, and if one factored in internal expansion, it was at least five times more spacious.

In a boarding battle, there'd be too much ground to cover.

But the Iron Knights could accompany them into combat, handle weaker enemies, or even serve as living shields against cannon fire.

And most importantly—

They looked awesome!

Angular steel plating, glowing crimson eyes, whirring gears, and hissing steam—every step was mechanical poetry.

It was, quite simply, every boy's dream of piloting a Gundam brought to life.

Even Zoro, who had been heading toward the training area, stopped in his tracks, silently staring at the animated Iron Knights.

They patrolled the ship in synchronized motion, and whenever Ren passed by, each one paused to bow slightly.

Of course, it wasn't actual sentience—just programming.

Ren had visited the chamber housing the Redstone Intelligence Core, customizing commands through a game-like interface that allowed fully programmable inputs.

Normally, such customization didn't exist in Minecraft.

But Ren remembered clearly—the system came from that mysterious entity who had merged Steve with the Totem of Undying.

It made sense; redstone technology could already simulate complex logic.

"Twelve is too few. I could probably double it."

Leaving one Iron Knight on guard duty, Ren exited the control chamber to inspect how well the Enlightenment had integrated after using the fusion scroll.

Before activation, he had already installed several components drawn from the roulette.

First—the Power Source.

A massive Steam Generator, five meters long and eight meters wide, drawn from the Silver Wheel of the Dimensional Roulette.

The Mechanical Style skin made it look futuristic, but at heart, it was still a steam generator—just one that lacked fuel.

Originally, Ren planned to burn coal… until he drew this.

[Campfire]

Origin: Minecraft

Type: Rule-Type Artifact

Effect: An ordinary-looking campfire that burns eternally.

Cost: None

Yes—an eternal flame.

The humble-looking campfire required no fuel and burned forever. Even torches drawn from the roulette shared this perpetual property.

Realizing this, Ren modified the generator—installing the campfire and torches as its fuel source, permanently eliminating the need for refueling or fuel storage.

However, these perpetual-burning items only appeared in the Silver Wheel. Higher-tier VIP roulettes lacked the eternal effect, meaning infinite energy likely required the next tier above.

Those two artifacts alone had cost him sixty million Beli—and even then, the fuel compartment was barely a tenth full.

He couldn't afford to run the generator at full capacity.

"All right… this is it—the birth of the Electric Age on the Grand Line."

Ren pressed the start switch.

The fuel chamber rose, meeting the water tank, producing high-pressure steam that spun the turbines. The generator roared to life.

First, the Healing Pod flickered on.

Then, the Enlightenment's lights, water heater, and temperature control system. Finally, the outer propellers connected to the grid, and the bow-mounted directional rotors began calibration.

Naturally, such technology didn't exist in the One Piece world.

Ren had manually wired every circuit with redstone powder, linking it all to the Redstone Intelligence Core. The core—the "brain" shared with the Iron Knights—now managed the ship's entire infrastructure.

Through a single console, Ren could oversee the whole vessel.

The Enlightenment had officially leapt from the Age of Sails into the Age of Electricity.

However…

Fuel shortage limited the generator's output to about fifty percent.

Before long, hallway lights dimmed, followed by the air system.

Only propulsion, refrigeration, and partial heating remained active.

"Good… nearly perfect. Next is the non-electric subsystem."

After confirming everything was stable, Ren fetched a Mana Crystal and went to charge the Field Generator.

One crystal powered it at low output. He didn't have many left—most were reserved for battle. He'd have to restock later.

With the main tasks complete, Ren descended to the lowest deck—the freezer bay for food storage.

Knowing they might not always resupply once they entered the Grand Line, he'd built it vast—about the size of a basketball court.

"Good. The temperature's steady—time to start stocking provisions."

He touched the frosty air, satisfied, and left.

The Enlightenment had three decks below the surface.

The lowest: freezer and storage room for miscellaneous loot.

The second: housing the Redstone Intelligence Core, Steam Generator, and Healing Pod.

The upper: the Training Area.

That training floor was mostly empty—he hadn't had enough Beli to equip it yet. Zoro was currently there, testing his blade.

"How's it feel?" Ren asked, entering the room.

"Much bigger than the Pipi Shrimp," Zoro replied honestly. "We could add a lot of training gear here. Oh, and the lights came on earlier—was that your 'electric lighting' thing?"

"Yeah," Ren nodded. "But the fuel can't handle full output yet, so I shut it off."
