Chapter 2 - Chapter One: (SOVEREIGNS)The Gathering of Divinities and Demons

A week had passed.

And for the first time in a thousand years, three of the Seven Divinities and two of the Seven Demons had gathered once more. Beings who carried the weight of the cosmos on their shoulders, each holding a single Authority, each commanding an army that could erase creation itself. The Watcher's Army Created for the sole purpose to uphold the fragile order of existence. Their meeting place was Elyndor, the Divine Cradle, a realm untouched by time, faith, or concept,a place beyond heaven and Hell, where even truth dared not intrude.

The air shimmered faintly with divinity. Light and shadow intertwined like living silk. And among them, familiar voices broke the silence.

> "The air here is… marvelous," murmured one Divinity, his golden eyes tracing the endless horizon. "No place compares to Elyndor. How long has it been a millennium?"

Another smirked, wings faintly glowing.

> "I've lost count after that war. Still, I don't see that sword wielding bastard anywhere.

Typical."

A cold voice answered from the dais.

> "Welcome, all of you. I am… grateful that some have honored my summons," the Divinity of Order spoke, his voice calm but sharp as law itself.

"Though I must admit, I am disappointed that several of us did not appear.

This gathering is no trivial matter. As you've all felt, a familiar power has awakened in the east."The room fell silent.

> "It lasted but a moment," he continued. "Yet I know that pulse anywhere. The fifteenth has stirred. The one we sealed... has escaped."

Whispers broke out instantly.

 > "So he escaped? Is that why you called us? Because of him?" A Demon spoke out..

> "Pathetic. Are we to fear a creature we chained a thousand years ago?"

> "You speak as if he's still strong. The place we sealed him must have drained him slowly"

And then

//"Is that so?"

"The Divinity of Order frowned. "You! Why are you here?

I don't remember inviting you."

A voice cut through the air like a blade drawn from the void. The space trembled. A ripple of pressure followed, and before one of the Divinities could react, his arm was severed cleanly, dissolving into divine light.

The Sword demon stepped forward, black hair falling over half his face, his blade humming softly its edge carrying the Authority of Sharpness itself.

The Divinity of Order blocked the attack immediately with his Bell of Shield.

> "You insolent fool, how dare you!"

> "Impressive," the Sword Demon interrupted. "You've improved. But I am not here to fight you."

> "Is that so? Then what are you doing here? We all know how troublesome you are..."

He looked around at the beings who once stood side by side against the Abyss.

> "I came to deliver a warning."

Silence. Even the laws of Elyndor seemed to hesitate.

> "If any of you set foot in the east," he said, his tone steady, cold, and absolute, "I will cut you down. Every one of you."

The ground beneath him cracked, reality bending under his Authority.

> "You dare threaten us here?!"

> "its a warning," he replied, sheathing his blade as the light dimmed.

"The fifteenth belongs to none of you. Stay away from him… or I'll remind you why they once feared my name."

He turned to leave.

> "We are not sure if he has returne "but pray that he never remembers who chained him."

And with that, he left Elyndor.

At the same time, in a village to the east near a forest, a place separated from other kingdoms lay the village of Veyrun.

Sylera sat by the bedside, her fingers brushing through the child's hair. Drevon stood by the door, his expression heavy with worry.

"It's been a week since we found him, and he still hasn't woken up," Devon said quietly.

"But the village Herbalist said there's nothing wrong with him.

It seems you've grown quite attached to this child."

"How can I not love a baby as beautiful as this?" Sylera smiled faintly. "How could the parents of this child be so heartless, to abandon someone like him in that heavy rainfall?"

"I agree," Devon sighed. "But once again, your prophecy has never ceased to amaze me. I can't believe you actually dreamt of a child in the forest. I'm glad I listened if I hadn't known better, I wouldn't have believed you."

"But haven't you noticed anything strange?" she asked softly. "The day we brought this child in, his hair was white. But now… it's gotten darker."

"Yes, I noticed," Devon said. "I just hope he wakes up soon."

Suddenly, the child moved. Sylera, sitting close, noticed immediately.

"Devon! I think the he just moved!"

"Thank goodness," he breathed in relief. "He's awake. I'll go call the Herbalist!"

"There's nothing wrong with him," the Herbalist said after examining him. "He seems perfectly healthy, just very hungry. Feed him well, and he'll be fine. I'll be on my way now."

Sylera turned to Devon after the doctor left.

"So now that the child has woken up… what do we do?"

"What can we do?" Sylera asked

Devon smiled gently. "The parents abandoned him, so it's left to us to take care of him.

Lysera just got a baby brother. She'll be thrilled when she sees him awake. She's been so sad, thinking he might never open his eyes."

"Then… what should we name him?"

"I don't know," Devon said. "You name him. Your mother, the elder, usually does the naming, and she's out with the children teaching them how to farm."

"Mother never rests," Sylera said softly, amused. "She doesn't realize she's getting old."

She looked at the child again, her eyes softening.

" She smiled. Let's name him Gray."

She brushed his cheek gently.

 > "Gray Veyrun."
