Chapter 2 - Ch-2 "The Emperor Who Bent Time"

The voice of the mother slowly faded, and the pages before Yash began to glow faintly in the library's dim light. The narration no longer belonged to her — it belonged to history itself.

"Long ago," the book began, "when the first Eras rose and fell, the world stood at the dawn of transformation. It was the time of Emperor Erdene Khorloo — the sovereign whose name once echoed through all lands."

He ruled from 640 B.R.E. to 572 B.R.E., an era defined by his unmatched wisdom, devotion, and strength. It was said that through his relentless cultivation and faith in the Apostles — the divine beings whom mortals called gods — he achieved something no man had ever done: he earned their collective blessing.

And with that blessing came a wish.

Erdene Khorloo's wish was simple yet beyond comprehension — to reshape the threads of time itself. To alter the Past, Present, and Future.

The stories claimed that his wish was granted. The world's history was rewritten. The past became grander, the future more luminous, and humanity took a leap forward, entering a glorious medieval age by 770 B.R.E.

Some said the Emperor remembered fragments of other lives — as if his soul carried memories across timelines. Knowing the course of the future, he guided his kingdom with purpose, correcting the flaws of ages that hadn't yet arrived.

These accounts, however, were debated for centuries. Historians labeled them as theories from the Emperor's inner circle, not verified truth.Still, the idea of a man who defied time itself remained immortal.

After Emperor Erdene's death, his name began to fade into legend. Yet a few of his closest disciples kept his teachings alive, worshipping the Apostles as he once had. To everyone's astonishment, some among them gained abnormal abilities — gifts they claimed came directly from divine connection.

As news spread, others followed the Emperor's scriptures and rituals. Civilization began to evolve rapidly, inspired by his philosophies.

Thus, from 550 B.R.E. to 450 B.R.E., a new age began — the Aryonic Era.

It was said that Emperor Erdene himself had foreseen this name, writing in his prophecies that one day, humanity would enter the "Age of Aryas." Centuries later, his followers honored his foresight by naming the era after his vision — the Aryonic Era.

Among those who rose to prominence during this golden age was a single bloodline that carried the legacy of two great clans —the Aryas.

From their father's side, they descended from the noble Khorloo Clan, the same blood as Emperor Erdene himself. But from their mother's side came a lineage darker and feared — the Tharun Clan.

The Tharuns were despised across nations, for their last ruler, Duma Tharun, had been one of the most ruthless emperors in recorded history. His reign bathed lands in blood; millions — perhaps billions — perished under his rule. Because of him, the entire Tharun name was cursed.

The Aryas, proud of their Khorloo heritage, denied their connection to the Tharuns. They embraced light but rejected shadow — yet both ran through their veins.

In the records of that age, one name stood tall — Gaotian Arya, the leader of the Aryas. A ruler known for his strength, intelligence, and unyielding discipline. He governed his lands with both fairness and absolute authority.

He had seven children, each destined for their own fate—

Suddenly, the narration halted.

The glowing letters on the page dimmed as Yash groaned, interrupting."Mama! You're explaining too much! Can't we just skip to Yashrath's story already?"

His mother chuckled, showing him the massive book in her hands — its pages filled with dense history."Yash, I've already read all the volumes I'm going to teach you from. I'm summarizing them for you — this is the shortest version possible."

Yash's eyes widened."Shortest?! This much history is the short version?"

"Exactly." She smiled patiently. "These are just the foundations. When we reach the books written by Yashrath Arya himself, the story will truly begin. Those pages are far more detailed — his own words, his adventures, his life. What I'm telling you now is merely the world that shaped him."

"But Mamaaa…" Yash sighed, fidgeting in his seat. "I can't sit for that long!"

She ruffled his hair gently."Patience, my little Arya. Once we reach Yashrath's writings, you'll forget time itself. His life was filled with wonders beyond imagination — a journey through war, destiny, and the divine. But for now…"She turned another page."…let's at least finish his childhood."

The book's text shimmered again, drawing them back into history — and the chapter closed.
