Chapter 90 - Calamity Primaris Gene-Warrior

After studying the Warhammer Gene-Seed Augmentation organs inside Lyon, Ian began his modifications.

The first surgery: Dual Heart Augmentation. Ian perfectly fused his own Nuclear Heart with the Core of the Citadel and then replaced Lyon's augmented heart, installing the Draedon's Heart for him.

"This is much better than your original one," Ian explained to Lyon, who was floating in the air, while operating.

"The Nuclear Heart will provide you with an inexhaustible supply of Energy, enough for you to fight continuously for months without rest."

"The Draedon's Heart grants you high Defense and Damage Reduction."

"And when standing still, it can rapidly regenerate Health, mitigate most damage, and significantly boost Defense."

The second surgery: Bone Augmentation. Ian took out two items radiating a peculiar light: the Corrupt Pustules and the Bone of the Monarch.

"These are no ordinary bones," Ian said as he implanted them into Lyon's body. "One comes from the mighty Abyssal Devourer, and the other is allegedly the bone of some Unspeakable Creature."

"From now on, all your attacks will carry Corrosion Power. Your enemies' weapons and armor will be as fragile as paper before you."

The third surgery: Muscle Augmentation, implanting Auric Tesla Cell stem cells.

This was the essence extracted from the Auric Tesla Dragon, containing astonishing Power.

Ian carefully injected the golden liquid into the newly replaced Corrupt Pustules in Lyon.

Subsequently, a large amount of golden blood was manufactured, and golden patterns spread under Lyon's muscles, then permeated every muscle fiber.

His Strength rapidly increased.

The fourth surgery: Blood Augmentation.

Ian took out the Chalice of Blood and integrated its contents into Lyon's bloodstream.

"It will significantly increase your Maximum Health and Recovery Speed. It can also convert lethal damage into a persistent Bleeding effect, giving you time to respond."

"At most, you will only take 5 points of direct damage at a time. The remaining damage will appear over the next few seconds, giving you ample time to heal or counterattack."

The fifth surgery: implanting the Blood Flame Core. This was a crystal radiating a warm red light, looking like solidified fire.

Ian shrunk it down and implanted it into Lyon's chest cavity. "It will continuously regenerate your Health, and the more intense the battle, the faster the recovery speed."

The sixth surgery: implanting the Devourer of Gods Nerve.

"This is a reactive nerve extracted from the Devourer of Gods. It greatly enhances your Mental Response Speed."

The seventh surgery: implanting the Abyssal Pouch. Ian fused the Abyssal Pouch with his original stomach.

"This is a digestive organ extracted from an Abyssal Creature," Ian carefully implanted it into Lyon's abdomen. "From now on, you can digest most substances."

The eighth surgery: implanting the Evolver. This was an ever-changing organism, shimmering with a metallic luster like liquid metal.

"It allows you to continuously Evolve, adapt, and grow stronger in battle. The longer you fight, the stronger you become. Every injury will make you tougher."

The ninth surgery: implanting the Aestheticus.

"From now on, you will gain Rage and Adrenaline. When the bar is full, activating it will significantly boost your Damage Output."

"Furthermore, most Negative Effects you suffer will be converted into Positive Effects."

The tenth surgery: implanting the Unifying Force Stone: Significantly increases Attack, Defense, and Speed.

The eleventh surgery: implanting the Phantomic Force Stone: Enhances Rage, with further increases to Attack, Defense, Speed, and Recovery.

The twelfth surgery: implanting the Ethereal Soul Stone: Grants an Energy Shield, increasing Defense and Damage Immunity.

The thirteenth surgery: implanting the Yin-Yang Force Stone.

Increases your Speed. Attacking your enemies will inflict Damage and Disease debuffs. It can also regenerate Health for nearby Allies.

The fourteenth surgery: implanting the Purified Gravi-Chamber.

Buff effects are doubled. Increases Damage and Evasion. Enemies attacking you will suffer more Disease debuffs.

The fifteenth surgery: implanting the Cosmic Fissure.

Provides a large increase in Health Regeneration. The lower your Health, the higher your Health Regeneration.

The sixteenth surgery: implanting the Advancement Medal: Greatly increases Speed.

The seventeenth surgery: implanting the Aegis of Asgard: Grants immunity to the vast majority of Debuffs.

The eighteenth surgery: implanting the The Wall of Yharim: Greatly increases Defense. Being attacked summons Starlight to attack enemies.

The nineteenth surgery: implanting the Yharon's Wings: Grants the ability to Fly.

Finally, Ian had him consume the maximum amount of Life Crystals and Life Fruits.

He was dressed in the Auric Tesla Armor Set, wielding the Wrathful Power Halberd—a transformation of the strongest spear, Zenith, fused with the Anti-Tyranny Sniper Rifle.

The armor was mounted with an Infinite Enchanted Infinite-Ammunition Phantasm and a Starlight Cannon.

Ian contentedly surveyed his "masterpiece," arms crossed over his chest.

He deliberately made Lyon look like a Custodian; the pure gold armor reflected a dazzling golden light under the laboratory lights.

He then slipped Lyon's Soul back into his body.

Lyon attempted to move his body. The Auric Tesla Armor Set fit him perfectly, every joint incredibly flexible.

A slight swing of the Power Halberd demonstrated an extraordinarily powerful Strength.

"What... what kind of Power is this?" Lyon looked at his hands in astonishment.

"Don't celebrate too soon." Ian waved his hand, and the ceiling suddenly turned into a massive display screen, densely covered with numbers. "Check your Bill."

Lyon looked up. The numbers before his eyes made his eyelids twitch. Auric Tesla Armor Set, Wrathful Power Halberd, Gene-Seed Augmentation, various Enhancement Potions... the number next to each item was startlingly long.

"Based on your current Faith Output Rate..." Ian counted on his fingers. "You only need to sincerely pray for fifty thousand years to pay it off."

"Fifty thousand years?" Lyon's mouth twitched. "I'm not even sure if the Imperium of Man can last another fifty thousand years."

Ian patted his shoulder and smiled: "So, find a way to speed up the repayment. Conquer a few more planets, and collect more Believers for me..."

Lyon surveyed his new body. His height of over three meters nearly touched the laboratory ceiling. His body was solid, like a frame of steel, with multiple hearts beating powerfully inside.

This body was enough to terrify any Chaos Demon; even a Primarch might not be as strong as him.

Lyon was already eager to return to the Warhammer World and begin his path to debt repayment. "Who dares to stop me from repaying my debt shall be killed without mercy!"

Before leaving, Lyon took another look at the other items on the Power of Faith Exchange List: more Maximum Health boosting items, Advanced Gene Loading, Infinite Energy... every item on the list made his heart itch.

'If I had known about these good things, I should have unsealed my memory earlier,' Lyon secretly regretted. Now, the only way was to fight for Ian as quickly as possible and continuously expand Ian's ranks of Believers to earn more Power of Faith.

Upon returning to the Warhammer World, Lyon immediately sensed a large number of personnel gathered outside the door.

Through his enhanced senses, he could clearly distinguish the breathing of at least thirty Astartes brothers.

"It seems I've caused quite a stir." Lyon pushed the door open directly.

Even though he deliberately bent his waist and lowered his head, his frightening height still made everyone outside gasp. Calgar's usually stern face froze upon seeing Lyon, filled with disbelief.

Calgar's hand involuntarily tightened on his weapon. 'Wasn't that Lyon, the Company Captain of the Fourth Company? How did he turn into a Custodian?'
