Within Haxia's borders, countless cultivators were ready for battle, including Foundation Establishment, Golden Core, and Nascent Soul cultivators. Standing at the forefront of this cultivation army were several figures whose presence was as deep as the sea—namely Sun Wukong, Ge, Leina, Liu, and Qilin.
"The three-day limit has passed."
As the voice faded, the Power of Control that had enveloped the entire Blue Star began to dissipate.
The Taotie Warriors and civilians who had been immobilized regained their ability to move. As they did, their memory of the intervening period became hazy.
The Taotie only felt a sense of foreboding and immediately decided to ignore the lambs waiting to be slaughtered in front of them for now.
But before they could investigate the situation, they saw a group of humans flying toward them from the horizon.
"Follow me!"
With Sun Wukong's command, the cultivator army surged toward the Taotie Legion like a tide, flying or leaping.
Ge, on the other hand, led a division of the cultivator army straight to Australia. This area had also been occupied by the Taotie, with countless civilians imprisoned there, as the Taotie intended to sacrifice them all when Karl arrived.
Upon arriving in Australia, Ge looked back at the team behind him and said sternly, "Remember, according to the previous deployment: Foundation Establishment cultivators are responsible for rescuing civilians, Golden Core cultivators deal with ordinary Taotie Warriors, and Nascent Soul and above will join me in tackling the battleships."
"Yes!" the group responded in unison.
Over the skies of the 'Kangaroo Country,' the Taotie battleships, having just regained control, were patrolling for anomalies. They suddenly noticed a cluster of small black dots approaching from the distant horizon. The radar indicated that the black dots were all human figures.
The leader of the group suddenly accelerated upon seeing a small battleship, crashing directly into it.
Peng! The battleship's external metal shell was instantly penetrated. Ge went straight for the battleship's energy core and slammed into it hard.
Boom!
The sound of the battleship exploding echoed across the sky.
"What's happening?" The Taotie commander, noticing the sudden explosion of the reconnaissance battleship, frantically checked the monitors.
Through the explosion's smoke and dust, a figure surrounded by green Spirit Energy slowly emerged.
Recognizing the person, the commander immediately ordered, "All forces, attack! Eliminate these humans!"
A large number of Taotie Warriors flew out of the battleships, rushing toward the cultivator army.
On the ground, a female cultivator who had just reached the Foundation Establishment stage was rescuing imprisoned civilians. "Quickly, follow me!"
Suddenly, a Taotie Warrior descended from the sky and raised its weapon to attack.
"Bang!"
Before it could raise its gun muzzle, a fist enveloped in golden light struck its head, instantly denting its skull. A closer look revealed it was a Golden Core Stage elder. "You focus on rescuing the civilians. Don't worry about these Taotie."
In the sky, Ge was confronting several Taotie battleships. His cultivation level had reached the Body Fusion Stage, and combined with his Undefeatable Body, whose hardness was comparable to a Divine Body, he could calmly handle the multitude of battleships.
Faced with the massive energy cannons firing at him, Ge simply used his Divine Body to tank the hits. Minor burns healed within a breath. When facing attacks from God-Slaying Weapons specifically aimed at Super Soldiers and Divine Bodies, Ge manipulated Wood-attribute Spirit Energy to form a large shield to block them.
"This is impossible!" The Taotie commander watched in disbelief as Ge used his forehead to take an energy cannon blast head-on. "How can his body be this hard?"
Ge gave them no time to think, rushing directly toward the main vessel and slamming his fist into the hull. He embedded a seed into the battleship's surface. Spirit Energy was injected, and massive roots and vines sprouted and grew, completely enveloping the battleship and slowly rooting inward. Soon, the battleship plunged from the sky.
"Everyone, evacuate the battleship!" the commander frantically ordered.
But it was too late. The plants had already reached the command center. Countless vines were seen drilling out of every crevice. Screams rang out, and within a short time, only a few mummified Taotie corpses remained in the command center.
Over the skies of 'Ugly Country,' Sun Wukong fought dozens of Taotie capital ships alone.
"Take this, my old Sun's staff!"
The Golden-Hooped Rod swept horizontally. A battleship's shield was forcefully shattered, and the vessel was then sliced in half at the waist.
"How is that possible? Even Morgana couldn't break through the energy shield that quickly!" The Taotie commander watched the monkey on the monitor in disbelief.
"Concentrate all fire on him!" the commander ordered.
Dozens of energy cannons fired simultaneously at Sun Wukong, but he didn't dodge. He brandished the Golden-Hooped Rod so tightly that it blocked every single energy blast.
"Such insignificant tricks dare show off before a master!" Sun Wukong laughed. He twirled the Golden-Hooped Rod, shrunk it, and put it into his ear. Then his body rapidly expanded, transforming into a golden-furred giant ape. He smashed the battleship's energy shield with a punch, grabbed the vessel, and used it as a weapon to violently smash into other battleships.
Boom!
The two battleships collided, resulting in a tremendous explosion.
On the ground, an elderly Black man was rescued by a Foundation Establishment university student. He looked at the battle in the sky, utterly shocked.
"Has God sent his messenger to save the world?"
"It's not God's messenger, that's our Haxia's Monkey."
In the Asian battlefield, Qilin and Riven were working together, launching precision strikes against the Taotie battleships. Riven waved her hand, and countless micro-wormholes appeared, while Qilin held a Dark Alloy Gatling. She channeled Spirit Energy into it, and the metal-attribute Spirit Energy coated the bullets, which then shot out like a torrent, precisely hitting every micro-wormhole.
A rain of Taotie then poured down from the sky.
On another front, a few Golden Core cultivators brought up a giant device. It was a Spirit Power Cannon, hastily developed in the past few days. As the cultivators infused it with Spirit Energy, a single shot shattered the Taotie battleship's shield. Several Nascent Soul cultivators then flew into the battleship and began the slaughter.
The battle lasted for three days.
After three days, the Taotie Legion on Blue Star was almost completely annihilated, with only a small portion desperately escaping into space.
Ge stood on a high point in Australia, looking at the dilapidated cities in the distance and the orderly rescue efforts, his heart filled with emotion.
"I actually did it..." he murmured to himself.
After dealing with the Taotie, the group returned to Haxia and regrouped in the Super Seminary conference room.
"That was a satisfying fight!" Liu plopped down onto a chair, leaning his Black Cleaver casually nearby. "Those Taotie, few of them could take one of my axes!"
Leina: "Don't get too smug. We haven't eliminated all the threats yet."
"True," Ge said, sitting next to Liu. "Karl and Morgana are the real big trouble. The power they possess far surpasses the Taotie."
Ducao walked into the conference room and turned on the projector. "Based on our predictions, Karl is expected to arrive at Earth within one day."
"One day?" Riven frowned. "Time is too tight. We don't have time to prepare more."
"The mere Death God Karl? Your old Sun god alone is enough; why need more time to prepare?" The Monkey, leaning against the wall, said disdainfully. "You all just focus on dealing with the Demons when the time comes."
"Exactly! What's there to prepare? I'm going to chop that damned Demon into eight pieces!"
Everyone offered their opinions, all of them filled with unprecedented confidence. Because this time, they were no longer the prey—they were the hunters.
