Chapter 232 - Chapter 234: Core Of the Problem

The dark room reeked of dust and cold stone. Princess Amelia De Kyoru was bound to the wall, her hands cuffed above her head, legs and waist restrained to keep her from collapsing. Tape sealed her mouth, muffling her frantic attempts to speak. Every movement sent her struggling against the harsh restraints, leaving red marks on her skin.

Ashyrn Witherfall leaned in, his shadow stretching across her trembling form. His deep voice echoed like thunder in the empty chamber.

"Now… what should I do with you?" he murmured, a maniacal grin twisting his lips.

His eyes bored into hers, cold and unyielding. "Soon, the Sand Haven Kingdom will fall… and from its ashes will rise a new order. My government."

A cruel laugh escaped him, reverberating through the room. Amelia's wide eyes reflected fear, fury, and determination all at once.

Meanwhile, Varo sprinted through the chaotic town, his chest heaving and sweat streaming down his face. Citizens scattered around him, fearful but curious, as he darted through every street and alley.

"Please, Princess Amelia… be safe! I'm coming for you!" he thought, heart pounding like a drum. Every glance, every corner, every shadow could hide her—or hide disaster.

On the other side, Orimo leaned against the ship's railing, a cold drink in hand. The wind ruffled his hair as he gazed across the glimmering horizon.

"I don't understand… who's really in the wrong, or who's right," he murmured, voice low, almost to himself.

Rae stood beside him, nodding in agreement, eyes thoughtful. "Yeah… it's all so confusing."

Orimo straightened, resolve hardening in his gaze. "But I made a promise… I'll save as many people as I can."

Rae tilted her head, curious. "So… what are you going to do?"

Orimo's eyes sharpened as he turned toward the kingdom. "I'm going to meet the king of this land. Wait for me, Rae."

Rae chuckled softly, teasing, yet full of trust. "You got it, idiot."

Orimo gave her one last smile before Leaving
