Then, suddenly—
Both of them burst out laughing.
From behind them, Rae covered her mouth, giggling. "You guys are funny."
A gentle voice called out.
"Varo!"
The princess stepped closer, waving lightly.
"Varo, how are you?"
Varo scratched the back of his head awkwardly.
"I—I'm good, Amelia."
Princess Amelia De Kyoru smiled warmly, her eyes soft.
"Well then… see you later."
Her voice lingered—sweet, tempting.
As she turned and walked away—
THUD! THUD! THUD!
Varo's heart pounded like a war drum.

He collapsed flat onto the ground.
Eyes glazed.
Hand clutching his chest.
Orimo immediately grabbed his shoulders, shaking him.
"Wake up, Varo!"
No response.
Rae tilted her head, watching him, then chuckled.
"He's in love… just like you, isn't he?"
Orimo froze.
His cheeks burned red as he scratched the back of his head.
"Uh… uhm… well—"
Before he could finish—
Rae suddenly grabbed his chin.
Pulled his face close.
So close they could feel each other's breath.
Orimo's eyes widened, completely caught off guard.
"My…" she whispered teasingly.
His heart skipped.
On instinct—
He leaned in.
THUD!
A sharp punch landed right on his head.
Rae smiled sweetly—a beauty killer.
Orimo dropped to the ground instantly, clutching his head.
"It hurts…"
Rae sighed, turning away slightly.
