[DESCRIPTION]

KAC-2089 is a humanoid entity that manifests in or near facilities associated with observation and preservation (museums, archive basements, ophthalmology clinics, research libraries, or abandoned planetariums). Witnesses describe it as a tall figure (2.1–2.4 m) dressed in layered, formal garments resembling a curator's coat, with a face obscured by a smooth, reflective mask.

KAC-2089's primary anomalous behavior is the forced extraction of ocular organs ("eyes") from living subjects at close range, typically within 3–7 seconds of initiating engagement. This effect occurs without visible tools, but victims remain alive in most recorded incidents and are left permanently blinded.

Recovered "specimens" are not biological remnants in the conventional sense. Extracted eyes rapidly desiccate into glass-like spheres exhibiting internal starfield patterns and retaining anomalous optic afterimages of the victim's last observed scenes. These spheres are then stored by KAC-2089 in a concealed "catalog," a spatial pocket accessible via reflective surfaces (mirrors, polished glass, or lacquered displays).

[BEHAVIOUR]

KAC-2089 demonstrates a consistent ritualistic pattern:

Approach and Appraisal: The entity stands at a respectful distance and tilts its head as if "reading" the subject.

The Request: Witnesses report hearing a calm voice (auditory or perceived)

Extraction: If the subject makes direct eye contact (or attempts to record KAC-2089 visually), the entity tackles the subject, forcefully plunging its hands into the victim's eye sockets, and ripping them out.

Cataloguing: KAC-2089 briefly inspects the recovered eyeball(s), then retreats to the nearest reflective surface and disappears.

KAC-2089 is not indiscriminately aggressive. It will ignore bystanders who keep their gaze lowered and avoid recording equipment. However, it becomes rapidly "active" in the presence of cameras, scopes, or any attempt to visually track it.

Notably, KAC-2089 does not target the blind. In several incidents, it paused, audibly "clicked" (as if disappointed), and departed.

[CONTAINMENT ATTEMPT]

All personnel assigned to KAC-2089 must follow the following:

 - No direct eye contact

 - No possession of any reflective surfaces

 - No video feeds or cameras

The containment unit must use matte, non-reflective materials.

---

[FINAL NEUTRALIZATION]

Neutralization has been proven ineffective. Researchers are currently undergoing and evaluating methods of neutralization.
