Chapter 2 - Fuck the world with a large condom

"Sa- sarah".

"Sa–Sa–Sarah?" he stuttered, but his words were nothing, as what was happening was still happening.

Right in the boss's office was Sarah, the same Sarah who had told him she was still on her way to the office. The same Sarah for whom he had spent his last savings buying a ring. She was balanced on his boss's table , the table which seemed to be enjoying itself, since her round ass lay plastered on it.

The black gown she was wearing was already up, hanging around her waist. The slim rim of the left strap that should be on her shoulder was already down her elbow, and her round, subtle breast was almost out of view. Her lips were entangled with his boss's, who stood between her legs, his hands rummaging through her body down to her ass, squeezing it delightfully.

They didn't even care that Kai Ren was there. His eyes had already turned wet and red.

His knees were trying to fail him, and inside, he felt a bitterness worse than the toast he had for breakfast.

Was this what his boss had called him to see, or was it just a coincidence? he thought. The truth was, whichever it was, it was wrecking his brain apart and tearing his mind asunder. Just then, he lost it.

"No! No! No! No!"

He cried out. At that point, the boss and Sarah stopped what they were doing. The boss gave her some space as she pulled down her gown and adjusted the left strap back onto her shoulder.

Kai Ren couldn't believe it. If anyone had told him the day would turn out this way, he would've punched them straight on the face, and maybe apologized afterward.

And amidst all that, the only thing his mouth could voice out was,

"Why, Sarah? Why?"

Sarah and the boss threw glances at each other, and did something Kai Ren didn't expect. They burst out laughing.

Not even a tinge of guilt was on their faces.

"Why?" Sarah asked amidst laughter. "Are you really asking me that question? Why? Look at this guy!" She turned to her partner. "Kenneth, he asked me why!" Kenneth grinned like a villain in a business suit.

Kai Ren was doing his best to fight back his tears.

"I loved you, Sarah! I loved you so much! And… and what about the promises, our love? You promised to be with me..."

"Oh, cut the crap," Sarah said, to Kai Ren's surprise. What had happened to the sweet Sarah he knew? The loving Sarah, the one who didn't want money over love? Or was she pretending all this time? Why?

Sarah sighed and went on, "Who would want to be with you? Have you seen yourself in the mirror? I'm even surprised you want to be with yourself."

At that, Kenneth chuckled, his face cold and satisfied, and that face made Kai Ren realize that he had planned all this.

"You!" Kai Ren said. Pointing at him with a shaky finger. He didn't care. Let respect for bosses be damned. "You… You told me we were good, Kenneth. You said you forgave me for what happened back then."

Kenneth only chuckled. "Oh, that's the problem, Renny, Renny."

That name.

"Renny."

It hit Kai like a slap.

He hadn't heard it in years, not since high school.

"Renny, Renny." That was the name they used to tease him in high school whenever they bullied him. Kenneth had been one of his top-ranking bullies — he was the punching bag that Kenneth let his anger out on. They'd chant it whenever they pushed him into lockers and stole his lunch.

His chest tightened.

But he thought it was all forgotten. He had put the way he was treated behind him — but apparently, he was wrong. Because he had done one particular thing to Kenneth, which wasn't even his fault.

Kenneth had liked a girl in high school, but the girl chose Kai Ren over him. It wasn't Sarah, though, that was long ago, and no one even knew her whereabouts anymore. But for that particular reason, Kenneth hated him the more.

When Kai Ren applied at the company for a job, Kenneth accepted, claiming he was sorry for the way he treated him, that giving him the job was a way to make up for it. Clearly, now, it was all a lie. He did it to get back at him, and he had done a very great job at it, if not a perfect one.

Kenneth cleared his throat. "I never forgot you took my girl away from me back then. Well, now I'm taking yours. You're just so weak, so feeble. I shouldn't have even paid you your first salary."

Kai Ren had never felt this weak before, not even when he was bullied.

He turned to Sarah. "Can you hear him? Is this the type of man you'd rather spend your life with? That you'll love?"

"I'll love him as far as he's not you," Sarah replied coldly.

"I mean, what am I gaining from you? You're not good at any damn thing. Not in bed, not in business. Look at you, small, skinny, and poverty-stinking. Have you even experienced puberty? Look at you, at this age, you have no hair even in your pubic areas!"

Those words hit hard — No, scratch that, it was like dragging his balls through shattered glass.

"Sarah… why now? After all the wait… why now? I bought the ring you wanted, the one you said you'd want to be engaged with!"

Sarah scoffed as she went toward Kenneth with a seductive sway and rubbed her body against him, caressing his chest.

Kai felt a thick tinge of anger, searing deep inside his spine.

"You're just unbelievable, Kai. You should've just bought yourself a new suit and disposed of this one you're wearing. God, it's frayed and has loose threads that look like hairs. Probably the thing carrying your pubic hairs for you."

Kenneth burst out laughing.

"Girl, I didn't know you were this nasty... nasty and sexy! It makes you hot."

Sarah smiled. "Awwn, you flatter me," she said as she kissed him, letting out desperate mumbles and moans that cracked and wounded Kai Ren's heart even more.

He didn't plan to say it, but he decided to let it out. Driven by anger.

"Sarah," he called, "I was going to be rich… and I wanted you by my side when I signed my contract."

Sarah stared at Kenneth, and Kenneth stared back at her, and again, they burst out laughing.

"Who said you were—"

"Hold on, Sarah honey," Kenneth interrupted. "I'd like to be the one to break the good news to him."

At this, Kai Ren stood flabbergasted. What was happening? What were they talking about? His eyes were wide open as he stared at them.

"Okay," Sarah replied as she leaned up and kissed him again. Kenneth squeezed her ass so hard that the base of her gown lifted up.

Then, when the kiss ended, Sarah took Kenneth's hand and drove it inside the top of her gown.

Kenneth moaned, savoring the soft and smooth skin beneath the fabric as he fumbled her breast. Sarah arched her neck back, clearly enjoying it. She leaned in until her lips were on his ear, licked it with a slow, seductive grace, then whispered,

"Don't take much time, baby. This will be waiting for you when you're done."

Kenneth was already drooling, imagining the things he would do to her.

Sarah then left him and walked towards the door.

Then, with a final disgusting stare at Kai Ren, she turned and walked out of the office.

"God, she's so gorgeous, don't you think?" Kenneth said to Kai Ren, who was imagining ways to kill him.

"I mean, I'm not an evil person, but I'd say you've got a sharp eye and taste for women, one that doesn't fit someone as poor as you. Like, how were you planning to take care of her when you didn't even complete high school because of your silly father issues?"

Kai was turning redder and redder by the minute. But even if his anger boiled over, what chances did he have against Kenneth? Kenneth was muscular, sharp, and handsome. His huge frame couldn't even be hidden by the suit he wore. If Kai wore that same suit, it might even weigh him down, he'd look like a stick in a suit.

But what were the odds? He didn't care anymore.

"I don't know if you heard me earlier, boss," Kai said. "I'm going to be rich. My game will... "

"Your game? Pfff!" Kenneth cut him off with a wicked smile, the same smile Kai saw anytime he was about to get bullied. That smile instantly told him something was wrong.

"No, Kenneth. No! Don't tell me you stole my work. That's my life's work, my legacy, my way out of misery!"

Kenneth let out a cozy laugh that only annoyed Kai Ren even more.

"Renny, Renny… oh, Renny," he said, shaking his head like someone really pitying him.

"First of all, call me *sir*," he said. "And second, I knew you were smart. I knew behind that pathetic brain of yours was a gift. And when you came to me asking for a job, a perfect plan formed. Why take just your girl, when I could take everything from you?"

He smacked his lips and went on. Kai Ren was now shivering with anger. He felt like a fool. His game was more than a gift, it was a blessing and Kenneth ... kenneth is trying to steal it from him. That game had just be published last two months, and it have sky rocketed to top three best games. Yet Kenneth, this evil Kenneth, is stealing it, his life worth and saviour.

"Oh, I know how you feel now, that's how I felt when you took Lana away from me. I swore I'd do worse to you, and here we are. Oh God, Sarah was right, you give people second chances too much. You don't really see the bad in anyone. She was right that you'd trust me in no time."

"Sarah…" Kai Ren said, heartbroken. "So she was the one behind all this? She never loved me… she sold me out."

"Oh, she did love you at first. The bitch was strong. It took more to break her than I ever expected. But what matters is that she's broken, and now your game is all mine."

He stepped to the window of his office and looked out. "Can you imagine the number of people playing this game as we speak? Subscribing day in, day out? Do you know how much money your game has made? Children, youths, parents, even old folks are playing your game. Oh, pity."

He folded both hands behind his back, clearly enjoying his cruelty.

"But the problem is... It's not your game anymore, it's mine. And the money that would've landed in your account today, the money that would've changed your life, guess what? It'll land in my account in an hour. The board is waiting for the creator of the game to sign, and that would be me."

"Now get out. I have a girl to bang, and I've got less than an hour to do that." He didn't even turn to look at Kai Ren.

Kai Ren felt anger surge through him, goosebumps covering his flesh. Clearly, his good personality and trusting spirit had betrayed him. Even love had betrayed him.

He wanted to beg Kenneth, to tell him he'd do anything, but no. He was tired of being pathetic. He turned to leave, but his soul was restless, his mind heavy. Just a few hours ago, he was happy, and now, he just wanted to die.

Die...

That was it. If he couldn't have his game, then Kenneth wouldn't have it either. He stared at him; he was still close to the window.

His mind was willing, but his body was weak and afraid. He knew he couldn't do what his mind was telling him to do. He walked toward the door. He knew that once he stepped through that door, it would all be over.

"Screw it," he bellowed in his thoughts as he whirled around like someone possessed. With a burst of rage, he ran toward Kenneth, heart pounding, head throbbing, hair whipping. With a determined fury, he dived at Kenneth. But Kenneth sensed the motion from behind.

"What the—!" he yelled as he jumped aside quickly, more out of reflex than thought.

Kai Ren missed. The only thing standing between him and death was the glass window of the grand office.

"Crap," he muttered. He was mid-air, there was no stopping his motion.

Crash!

His body shattered through the glass, and he came falling from the topmost floor of the skyscraper.

Yells tore from his mouth.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!"

Everything happened so fast...

And then, darkness.
