Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1

AUSTRALIA °SPRINGFIELD HIGH

Resumption day Students filled the campus in luxury cars, designer sneakers flashing, Celine bags dangling, and expensive laughter echoing through the polished hallways signifying the start of a new term, and as expected, students were tripping into the school—some mingling together and chatting,

Only the wealthy thrived here. The few middle-class kids who entered on scholarship never survived more than two days. They were treated like dirt—bullied until they begged to leave.

Getting enrolled is quite hard; middle-class kids only get enrolled through scholarship which is always rare.

Rumors of students attempting to commit suicide from being bullied once spread out to the outside world, but still the school is tagged as the best.

> °Check out my sneakers, just got it from Dubai.

°Omg!! isn't that the latest Celine bag it just launched two days ago.

°That necklace is cute.

°The watch is damn expensive.

°Those shoes, gosh!!!

Chatting continued among the students as they entered the large and beautiful school compound. Still, Springfield High stood proudly, its name etched in bold letters across the towering building. Perfectly trimmed gardens and a smooth driveway made the school look like a palace.

Everywhere was quiet and peaceful, filled with lovely gist and laughter.

Then the atmosphere shifted.

A Maybach glided into the driveway. Bodyguards in sleek black suits stepped out and opened the back seat door of the car.

Slender legs touched the ground, followed by a tall, calm figure. His handsome face came into view a—dimples deep, brown eyes sharp, lips soft but firm. Gasps rippled through the crowd.

Starr White.

The son of the founder of Springfield High. His aura was cool and lively with both hands dipped into his pockets.

Girls squealed, blowing kisses, while he leaned casually against his car, headphones hanging around his neck. His aura screamed untouchable.

> °Omg!! Starr.

°Who else noticed he is extremely more handsome this session?

°I missed seeing his face.

°So hot, his dimples are cute.

Students—mostly girls—blew kisses at him while he kept a straight face, staring blankly. Two other cars halted in the driveway, Twinkle and Gabby stepping down at the same time.

They are the STG's — Starr, Twinkle and Gabby. They both approached Starr. Twinkle carried charm and playfulness. Gabby radiated icy detachment. Students cleared the path as they strode in like royalty.

.

> °The STG's, they are so hot.

°Twinkle!!

° Gabby's cold stare is everything, he's so handsome.

The screams only died down when a sleek red convertible rolled into view.

Amelia Sliver

The queen bee. Springfield's lead bully. The nightmare behind every scholarship student's downfall.

She stepped out, flipping her glossy hair, her uniform tailored to perfection. Girls whispered about her glowing skin, her sneakers, her confidence.

> °Gosh, those sneakers.

°This session's gonna be hot.

°I know, right.

°Who else is noticing her skin is glowing?

Carly sighted Amelia from afar and ran to hug her, smiling.

"I missed you, bestie," Carly muttered, checking her out. "Your skin is glowing, can I get a tip of your secret about it?"

"Not now, let's chill," Amelia replied, and Carly nodded, linking arms with her

CINDERELLAS' PENTHOUSE

The morning sun its full beam into the well-furnished, girly-looking room through the window, shining brightly on the two figures sleeping on the bed. The alarm on the bedside table rang; that wasn't enough to wake the sleeping beauties, both gone deep into the dream world. The second rang, the third, the fourth— they finally woke up on the fifth ring, their eyes widening on checking the time.

"What the hell?"Wriboy groaned, running a hand through her messy blonde hair. " I'm supposed to be home by now,Dad's gonna kill me."

Scarlett rubbed her eyes, frowning, noticing something. Her eyes darted around the room. "Where's Phoneix?"

"She's probably at her favorite spot.Where else could she be?" Wriboy said and stepped down from the bed. She entered the bathroom, leaving Scarlett alone in the room.

Scarlett slipped out of the room and headed to the indoor swimming pool—that was Phoneix's favourite spot.

She's a crazy swimmer and the only introvert among them. She is the silent type, always cold and somewhat reserved, while Wriboy is the extrovert, a crazy one at that. Scarlett is just the calm type. They had been friends since kindergarten, a strong friendship that seems unbreakable.

Scarlett squatted beside the pool watching Phoenix slicing through the love-shaped pool like a mermaid. Pink hair clung to her face, tattoos glinting against pale skin.

"Morning" Scarlett teased when Phoneix climed out of the pool in her swimsuit. She watched her pick a hair dryer, drying her wet pink hair. "Hey, girl. I'm talking to you."

"Not in the mood," Phoneix replied and flopping unto a recliner. Her butterfly tattoo shimmmed beautifully on her arm with the piercing all over her ear. They got the same butterfly tattoo on the same day and also the piercings, though Wriboy suggested it. Scarlett only got a nose piercing and double ear piercing because of her parents. Wriboy got the most—she pierced her ear all over, then a nose piercing and another on her navel.

"C'mon, Dolly__" Scarlett pouted.

Phoneix frowned as her eyes widened. "Dolly," Scarlett called again.

"I told you girls not to call me that again," Phoneix snapped.

"But, you obviously look like one," Wriboy interrupted bouncing into the room. She stopped in front of Phoneix, ruffling her blonde pink hair.

Phoneix shoved her hand away. "I'm not a baby, gosh, I hate you both!" she screamed, getting pissed. Wriboy smiled and faced Scarlett, who was busy with her phone.

Wriboy laughed, grabbed Scarlett's phone, and sprinted out. Scarlett chased after her, groaning."Wriboy..."She screamed

Phoenix sighed in relief, sliding on her pink headphones.

"Finally, peace," Phoneix sighed and put on her pink headphones, shaking her head to the music.

✯ STG's PRIVATE LOUNGE ✯

As special students in the school, they had a lounge of their own containing every single thing they needed: a game room, rest room and mini living room with a flat wide-screen TV , CCTVs feeds of the whole school

Starr was sitting on the couch playing a card game with Twinkle. Gabby settled far away from them, busy with his phone as usual. He's the coldest in the group, always with a blank, unreadable expression, but that doesn't stop girls from crushing on him—even though he's always snubbing them.

"I win!!!" Twinkle shouted , throwing his cards down. Starr scoffed.

"You're jealous, dude," Twinkle smiled.

"Hey, Gab, what are you doing?" Starr asked. Gabby remained silent

"Yah, Gabby!!!" Twinkle screamed.

"Meet me in class." Gabby stood up and walked out. Starr sighed, staring at Gabby's retreating figure.

"Fûck that cold jerk," Twinkle cursed loudly.

"Language, dude!!" Starr warned. Twinkle scoffed, and they both left the lounge heading to the classroom.

✯ ROOFTOP ✯

Meanwhile, Amelia watched with a satisfied grin as her minions cornered the newest scholarship girl.

She was just introduced today, and her misfortune started even before she could settle down. Carly pushed her and she landed in front of Amelia.

"Your name?" Amelia asked, voice silky but sharp. The girl knelt trembling fearfully, her face bruised and knees bleeding

"Cassie…" she stuttered, shivering slightly.

"Hope you enjoy your stay here," Amelia smirked and got up from where she was seated. She walked past Cassie, who was still on her knees, then paused, her eyes narrowing at Cassie's long, silky hair. Longer than hers.

Amelia grinned jealously. "Ginger, she needs a good haircut. Give her a new hairstyle."

Cassie shifted back as Carly moved closer to her.

"No. Don't touch my hair… please," she pleaded desperately. A student rushed in and handed the scissors to Ginger, but Carly and Ginger held her down. The scissors snipped, and her desperate sobs filled the rooftop air as they cut off her hair arrgressively.

---

The girls were currently alone in the room. Wriboy was dressed up since she was going home. Scarlett was busy making Phoneix's hair in braids. Wriboy sat on the bed and removed her nose ring along with the other rings on her ear.

"What's happening? Why the sudden change?" Scarlett questioned with a surprised look.

"Just decided to act like a good kid this once," Wriboy smiled, and Scarlett scoffed. Phoneix stood up to check her out.

"Doesn't suit you at all. Your badass appearance is perfect."

Wriboy chuckled, staring at Phoneix's face.

"What?"

"You look like a baby, so cute." Wriboy poked her nose.

Phoneix scrunched her face. "I'm not a baby, not my fault. You should blame my mum for being young and pretty, and my dad is too handsome for his age. I do complain a lot about it."

Scarlett's eyes widened, same as Wriboy's.

"Gosh, Phoneix, you're something else." Wriboy shook her head and put back her nose ring. She dropped her other rings in her bag and picked up her helmet from the bedside table.

She kissed Scarlett's cheek and made to do the same to Phoneix but got pushed. She frowned. "Anyways, bye Dolly."

She headed to the door and turned back. "Least I forget, I'm getting a lip piercing. Love you babies."

She blew them kisses and closed the door. Scarlett scoffed. "Is she planning on piercing her whole face?"

Her phone rang. She picked it up, swiping green.

"Hey, darling," her mum's voice sounded, warm and soft.

"Any problem? Why are you calling?" she asked with a smug grin, knowing what she was about to say.

"Your dad want you to return home. Bring Phoneix and Wriboy along. I miss them," Julian said.

"Wriboy just left, but Phoneix is here with me," Scarlett replied.

"Fine. You can bring her along, I'll see Wriboy some other time. Love you."

"I love you too, Mom. Bye." She said softly, and the call got disconnected. She turned to face Phoneix, only to find her asleep.

✯ WHITE'S MANSION ✯

Wriboy sped through the driveway, her engine making loud screeching sounds.

The security guard positioned at the large gate rushed to open it, revealing the beautiful mansion. Wriboy halted in front of the luxurious building. She pulled off her helmet and shook her head, her hair swirling in the air. Her Piercings glittered across her ears, her lip newly done, the butterfly tattoo bold on her arm.—she got her lips pierced and added more to the piercing on her nose.

She got down from the bike and headed into the mansion. She met her parents seated on the couch in the living room.

She smiled and approached them.

" Grandmother,Dad." Asher White faced his daughter with smiles, which dropped the moment he noticed her piercings multiplied.

She lost her mother in an accident when she and her twin were just four years old. Her dad had been the only one taking care of them since then, tho they had a Nanny but she resigned few years back without a valuable reason tho. Grandmother Donna only visits once in a while to check up on them.

Doona gasped with widened eyes. "Wriboy, what is this?" she asked, her voice barely audible.

"I'm sorry, Granny. I couldn't keep my promise," Wriboy muttered, her face dropping as tears fell from the old woman eyes. Asher shook his head and headed upstairs.

"Granny!!!" Wriboy called, feeling guilty. Maybe she made a mistake getting more piercings, but the last time she came they weren't against it.

Why now? She saw nothing bad in it.

"Stop crying. I can't promise not to use it, but I promise to reduce the piercings," she muttered, patting the woman back.

Doona chuckled. "We got you, darling. You fell for our trick."

Wriboy pouted, hugging Doona tightly.

"Still, you need to reduce the piercings, it's getting too much," Asher's voice sounded from behind them. Wriboy nodded.

Car honks blared outside. Wriboy disengaged from the hug with widened eyes.

"Starr is back. Surprise," Asher announced, smiling lovingly

The glass door opened and the hottie walked in with his hands dipped in his pockets. His fancy headphones hung around his neck. Wriboy slowly turned to face him.

She frozed. Then, with no hesitation, she ran into his arms.

She so much missed him
