CHAPTER-001
Kang Hyun walked across campus, earbuds in, smirking at the usual chaos of students rushing to class.
Another day, Another reminder that he was… nothing special.
By evening, he was behind the counter of a convenience store, restocking shelves under flickering fluorescent lights. The job was dull, but at least it kept his mother off his back.
Then came the first warning.A man lunged at a young woman in line, snatching her purse. Instinctively, Kang Hyun grabbed the attacker's arm.
"Let go!" he shouted.
The man did—because the world outside had already begun to break.
The sky split apart. Cracks like glowing scars tore through the clouds, and something screamed beyond them. From those fissures, monsters fell—thrashing, roaring, devouring everything they touched.
Kang Hyun fought. He ran. He tried to survive.But he was only human.
The last thing he saw was a claw, massive and glinting in the unnatural light, falling toward him.
Then came the silence.
Then came death.
It was supposed to be the end.
But fate… had other plans.
