Chapter 12 - Worms in Me

They fester deep within me,

They feast of me,

They are but a speck,

Compared to me,

They kill me,

Slowly and cruelly,

Why and why,

Do They do so,

The multiply in what feels like,

Moments,

They have consumed my soul,

Only my body remains,

I try, I beg for them to stop,

They don't,

They are killing me,

I wish to die in peace,

Yet they will feast even on my corpse,

To them, I would be the world

They have buried themselves deep within me,

They could have lived in abundance,

If not for overexploitation,

But they do not learn,

These worms have eaten me,

They consume me,

They consume, and consume.

Not for need, that could be forgiven.

Only for want, and that can be justified.

So let me die,

But I will not die alone,

They shall die with me.

Let man burn with the world.
