Chapter 64 - 64

Call connected."

Before Victor could speak, Tony fired first.

"Damn it! You hacked Jarvis again? I'm upgrading that idiot immediately! Now give me a good reason, or I'm sending this annoying guy from the villa to your house!"

The guy from Tony's villa?

Victor thought for a moment, not understanding who it was.

It was Alice who prompted, "Phil Coulson, an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., is here to collect evidence regarding yesterday's mass casualties."

Victor nodded in understanding.

No wonder Tony didn't know about the situation at Stark Industries; he was being held up.

A voice with magnetic affinity sounded, "Mr. Victor, I'm Phil Coulson, an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D., a special department independent of the government. If it's convenient, we need to register your Mutant Ability."

Well.

Victor had essentially delivered himself to them.

Contacting S.H.I.E.L.D. now was actually good timing; they couldn't be avoided in his future plans for cooperation with the military.

However, the immediate priority wasn't this.

"Coulson, we'll arrange something later." Victor accepted the invitation, "Tony, Obadiah built an Iron Man Suit himself. Tell me you've already dealt with it."

"Damn it! How much do you know?" Tony's voice sounded very annoyed, "Did you put a spy in my company? I'll definitely find him!"

"So you haven't dealt with it yet, have you?" Victor pressed.

"Yes! That's right!" Tony laughed in extreme anger, "It's all because of the mess you left behind! How could I have the energy to deal with such cheap stuff? And here you are, sunbathing!"

It seemed Tony was also paying close attention to Victor.

Victor sighed helplessly and said, "Tony, I think you'd better ask Pepper where she is. I received news that Obadiah appeared at Stark Industries, killing many people, you..."

"Damn it! Why didn't you say so sooner!" Tony interrupted Victor exasperatedly, "You'd better pray Pepper is alright! *Snap*—"

The other side hung up the communication.

Victor shrugged indifferently, lay down, and prepared to continue his virtual practice, but suddenly found his body feeling a bit weak, and a sense of drowsiness slowly crept into his mind.

The Confucius, Laozi, and Sun Tzu in his brain had been fully digested, and his brain had returned to inertia.

It was time for the next round of learning.

"Alice, have the Chinese martial arts data been organized?" Victor asked.

"Not yet fully organized. Some parts are recorded online, but the core Moves require real-world learning. Humans have already been hired to record the data," Alice replied.

"Hmm, what has been recorded so far?"

"Bajiquan recorded 88.64%, Baguazhang recorded 87.14%, Taijiquan (Tai Chi) recorded 92.25%, Bagua Youlong Palm recorded 89.87%..."

Alice rattled off a long list of names, making Victor's head spin.

How many were there, for crying out loud?

He hadn't felt it before, but now he realized that there were countless schools of Chinese martial arts. If he crammed all of them into his brain, how long would it take to digest!

He worried for a while, but he still had to Face the challenge.

Victor put on the virtual helmet and had Alice first instill what had been collected into his mind.

But then.

Just as Alice was about to infuse it, Victor suddenly heard a roaring sound, then his surroundings shook, and immediately after, he was pulled up by his hands into the air—the virtual helmet only shields external information when the learning module is activated.

Because his hands were being pulled, Victor used his telekinesis to take off the virtual helmet and found that he was now flying at a height of a hundred meters, with the red and gold Iron Man Suit above him, using a rope to loop under his armpits, thus suspending him and flying at high speed.

Victor: "?.?"

What the hell?

Where was he being taken with such a lame posture for no reason?

He was dumbfounded for a few seconds.

Victor first put away the virtual helmet, which was quite expensive, and opened his mouth to ask, but was immediately hit by a large gust of wind. After blocking the wind pressure with telekinesis, he was finally able to speak.

"What are you trying to do?" Victor asked.

Tony did not respond.

All that could be heard was the sound of the wind. Victor hadn't shouted loudly, so no one could hear what he was saying.

Alice, however, was very thoughtful: "Mr. Stark's communication channel has been connected."

Giving Alice a mental thumbs up, Victor repeated his question.

"Damn it! You hacked into my communication System again!" Tony cursed immediately, "Can't you send a call request first? Didn't your father teach you the courtesy of knocking? Or do I have to teach you?"

Victor's Face darkened.

You're definitely alluding to the "dad joke" again, aren't you?

However, considering that the timing was not right, Victor silently made a note of it in his mind, but still retorted with a small jab: "Then why don't you take me off the communication blacklist!"

The atmosphere solidified for a few seconds, with only the fierce wind whistling in their ears.

A few seconds later.

Tony very naturally steered clear of the topic: "You know, Obadiah also built a cheap contraption, and now he's wearing that thing and wrecking havoc like a madman at Stark Industries, potentially rushing into civilian crowds at any moment."

"So? The proud Tony Stark can't handle a cheap armor?" Victor mocked unceremoniously.

"How could that be! That kind of junk?" Tony felt insulted, "Even if I'm using an old model energy source, I can easily deal with him!

I brought you here to protect the civilians!

And to ensure Pepper's safety, so our battle's aftermath doesn't spread too wide. Your abilities are perfect for that."

No wonder.

He thought Tony, being such a proud person, wouldn't actively seek help.

It turned out it was because the old model small Arc Reactor had insufficient energy, and he was worried about not being able to defeat Obadiah, so he brought Victor to protect Pepper.

As for the battle with Obadiah, he took full responsibility for it himself.

After his experience in the cave, this guy already had the potential of a superhero in his bones, able to step forward without hesitation in the Face of danger.

In this regard, Victor felt inferior.

He had just been thinking of informing Tony that he could continue to leisurely sunbathe.

Well, so be it.

Then let the Superman appear ahead of schedule.

Without any concealment, Victor, in front of Tony, directly activated the super battle suit's mimicry function, transforming into the previously set Superman template.

Tony naturally noticed this.

"Hey! Are you going to play dress-up?" Tony's words carried a hint of sarcasm.

After spending a long time with Tony, Victor finally understood.

This guy was born with a venomous tongue, commonly known as someone whose mouth can't utter anything pleasant; whatever he said would carry a bit of poison.

It was an unintentional personal attack.

Ignoring Tony's sarcasm, Victor tore off the rope dangling from his body and instead used telekinesis to wrap around the Iron Man Suit's waist, flying horizontally about 10 meters behind Tony.

Instantly, his coolness factor shot up, unlike how awkward he looked just a moment ago.

He used his actions to tell Tony that he was also a person who cared about Face, and his entrance certainly needed a good "makeover."

Tony said nothing more.

Relieved of the unbalanced center of gravity, he immediately accelerated the energy output. The energy thrusters in his palms and soles fired at full power, instantly creating a sonic boom cloud, carrying Victor away at high speed.

Their target: Stark Industries Group, a certain iron lump that was wantonly destroying things and seeking death!
