Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

The world suddenly experienced a great catastrophe — the appearance of powerful beings, especially monsters, that slaughtered humans mercilessly. Humanity was on the brink of extinction.

Just when people had lost all hope, celestial beings descended — radiant figures resembling angels, known as Mongulas.

The Mongulas granted humanity a divine gift — basic types of power, divided into four categories: Skill, Magic, Element, and Power.

With this newfound strength, humans began to fight back against the monsters and slowly grew stronger.

In time, mankind succeeded in sealing all dimensional rifts — known as Realms, the very sources from which monsters and other beings invaded their world.

That great event has now become history.

The world once again moved on peacefully… until one day, something strange happened to an ordinary office worker.

While washing his face in the restroom, his reflection suddenly began to melt like water.

Panicking, he ran out, slipped, and hit his head on a rock.

When he regained consciousness, he was shocked — his body had shrunk, and he couldn't move.

---

"W-what's happening…?" he whispered in fear.

He soon realized that he had possessed a rock!

Panicking, he tried to think, but before he could, a child kicked the rock, knocking him out again.

When he woke up, his body had changed — this time into a lamp post.

His bad luck continued when a bolt of lightning struck him down.

The third time he awoke, he found himself inside the body of an orange-furred cat.

Now, this small feline form became his new vessel.

Sad and confused, he wandered aimlessly through the streets.

After a while, he encountered a young Hunter named Min Hu, the weakest among his peers.

Min Hu's face was bruised, his cheek bandaged, his round glasses cracked, and his messy hair told of a recent battle with monsters.

When Min Hu noticed the cat, he smiled softly and lifted it into his arms.

The cat squirmed, jumping out of his grasp.

"Easy there… I won't hurt you," Min Hu said gently.

With his bandaged right hand, Min Hu slowly petted the cat's head.

The warmth of his touch was strangely comforting.

---

"This fur… it feels soft — and somehow, I feel calm," thought the cat.

He began to believe that Min Hu was a kind person.

"Are you lost?" Min Hu asked sadly before continuing on his way.

"I'm curious about him…" the cat thought, deciding to follow Min Hu from behind.

Through that, he learned that Min Hu was indeed a Hunter — but the weakest one, ranked F.

He had no skill, no basic type — nothing. Because of that, others often mocked him or used him as bait.

Still, Min Hu kept working as a Hunter, trying to support his mother, his younger sister, and his father, who had been in a coma after a mining accident caused by a monster attack.

Despite his weakness, his determination never wavered.

---

The cat followed Min Hu all the way home.

Seeing Min Hu's sadness, he instinctively wanted to stay by his side.

Min Hu's family welcomed the cat warmly.

"They're such kind people…" thought the cat.

Min Hu then took a bottle of milk from the fridge.

"Do you want this?" he asked with a smile.

"Meow…" the cat replied, nodding in agreement.

Min Hu poured the milk into a small bowl, and the cat drank eagerly.

"Wow, this kitty is so cute!"

Min Hu's younger sister, Min Sina, poked the orange cat playfully.

"Brother, let's name it! How about Zeco?" suggested Sina.

"Whatever you like," Min Hu replied with a soft smile.

"That name… it actually suits me," thought the cat.

Min Sina was 18 years old — just a little younger than Min Hu, who was 21.

Her hair was a bright violet, and her eyes a deep ocean blue.

Their mother shared the same blue eyes, though her hair was black like Min Hu's.

"Maybe Sina's purple hair came from their father…" the cat wondered.

Min Hu, with his calm blue eyes, smiled gently as he watched the cat.

"Is this the beginning of my new life?" the cat thought quietly.

"Or… will I be trapped like this forever?"

This was the start of my strange, inexplicable life.

To be continued…
