After a hard day of work, often times brushing away layer after layer of dirt in order to get to the treasures hidden below. The harsh sun on her back, beating down on her relentlessly despite all of the clothing that Erin tried to wear to protect herself from it. There was nothing that she wanted more than to return to her tent and rest.
In fact, she had been doing just that, now Erin was feeling anything but relaxed.
Instead, she was sitting up in her tiny cot, and staring at her phone screen. Normally, getting a call from her friend would have made her ecstatic, but the call had come at a time when Erin was not expecting it at all. That worried her. Was her friend in any trouble? Was it some kind of emergency? Had somebody been hurt? Deciding not to work herself into a state by coming up with awful scenarios.
