Takuzo's bus followed behind Kyoko's, with Takayama's bus behind him, until they were able to completely escape the traffic and the chaos of the undead outbreak on the main road by taking a detour.
But even before they could get far, a sudden commotion occurred on the third bus, where Morita, Misuzu, and Toshimi were riding.
One of the boys suddenly started convulsing on his feet. The inside of the microbus was crammed with thirty students, so those near the boy couldn't step away, and those in front got soaked with the blood he vomited.

His students followed him, scrambling to get out through the door, shoving and pushing one another to save themselves while the undead devoured its first victim.
Among Shido's group, Nach was only concerned for Miku's safety—perhaps Takashi's as well, for the sake of the plot. But as Miku was getting off the bus, Takashi shoved her aside, causing her to stumble and sprain her left ankle in the fall.
