Chapter 44 - Act.6 - Part 4

[READER'S VIEWPOINT – Extra in Highschool of the Dead]

Name: Nach Smith

Progress: Act.6 (Page 15 / 34)

"It looks like something out of apocalypse now," Kohta said, looking at the commotion on the Onbetsu Bridge, which could still be seen from Rika's apartment using binoculars as he stood on the front balcony on the second floor with Nach.

He then offered the binoculars to Nach, silently asking if he wanted to take a look.

Of course, Nach could see the key events happening on the Onbetsu Bridge through the holographic screen of Reader's Viewpoint. Still, he didn't want to ignore Kohta's kindness, so he accepted the binoculars, pretending to look at what was happening on the bridge:

The strikingly hot female reporter, whose name Nach still didn't know because it wasn't mentioned in the original Highschool of the Dead story; and the crazy, homeless-looking guy leading the rally of survivors, spouting nonsense about the undead outbreak being an experiment involving the Japanese and American governments;

The police officers were shooting at the incoming slow-moving undead that were starting to swarm and overrun the bridge, until it escalated to one of the officers shooting the crazy guy in the head in an attempt to stop him from further agitating the crowd and to control the chaos—not caused by the undead, but by the living.

It was the scene where the television broadcast should have been cut off, but since Takashi, the original protagonist, wasn't with them, no one turned on the TV to watch it. Not even Kohta, who remained on the balcony monitoring the undead lurking on the street in front of the apartment building, nor Nach, who was pretending to look at the bridge through the binoculars.

He was pretending indeed, and it wasn't what was happening on the bridge that he was actually watching through the Reader's Viewpoint—but something else.

Nach was worried for the safety of the female reporter, but even if he wanted to help, there was nothing he could do now. He could go to the bridge and try to save her, but it would be too risky to move outside at night—even for him. Besides, he couldn't leave the main cast, fearing something unusual might happen again. All he could do was hope her survival would be assured in the new lazy and lousy plot.

As for what he was actually watching, what happened after their dinner would explain the situation.

With the phone Nach picked up from the undead, Saya and everyone else tried calling their families.

Saya was able to call her house and talk to her mother. She explained her situation, learned about her parents' safety, informed her mother about the possible arrival of Fujimi Academy's students and teachers, and warned her about Shido. Their conversation ended with a promise to meet by morning on the other side of the Onbetsu River, closest to the Takagi estate.

Rei was able to call her mother as well, but not her father. Still, she learned that her mother was safe and currently at the evacuation site in their neighborhood, and was told to stay at Saya's place until they could pick her up.

Hisashi was able to contact his family as well, learning that they were going to evacuate to Shintoko Third Elementary School.

As for Saeko and Kohta, their families were overseas, so they couldn't call them. Karen, on the other hand, couldn't get through when she tried calling her relatives who lived outside the city.

Alice's family and Imamura didn't need—or have—to call anyone anymore, which left Shizuka trying to call Rika again and again, waiting for her to answer.

Nach and Kohta then went upstairs to the balcony in the front bedroom to monitor the situation outside, leaving Shizuka in the living room on the ground floor—but not before Nach said something to her.

Saya and Saeko followed, but not for the same purpose—they went to sleep in the bed.

Alice's family, Imamura, and Karen with her dog Zeke remained on the ground floor, resting and sleeping on the mattresses set up there.

As for Rei and Hisashi, they went to the other apartment unit under the pretense of scavenging for more useful items. But in truth…

---

I guess you aren't that disappointing, Hisashi, Nach thought, watching Rei and Hisashi's intimacy happening next door through the Reader's Viewpoint.

In his defense, he wasn't someone who took pleasure in watching others' intimacy, but this felt more like reading an erotic manga.

As for his sudden praise of Hisashi, it came from seeing Hisashi's size as Rei gave him a handjob while they kissed each other.

S, M, L, XL, XXL.

If Nach were to categorize Hisashi that way, he was definitely L—or large. And to be proud of himself, Nach was XXL.

He didn't know what Takashi's size might be, but was this perhaps one of the reasons Rei chose Hisashi over him?

However, his sudden praise was immediately followed by a complaint.

What the heck are you doing? Don't be a trash and pleasure Rei as well! Nach exclaimed internally, noticing that Hisashi was the only one receiving pleasure but not Rei.

They were indeed kissing intimately and passionately, but Hisashi wasn't touching Rei—not even fondling her breasts or caressing her entrance.

"What a freaking trash," Nach muttered, seeing that Hisashi was the only one to climax with Rei's handjob.

"What's happening, Sensei?" Kohta asked, assuming that Nach's remark was about what was happening on the bridge.

"I'm seeing a trash I want to dispose of."

"I know what you mean, Sensei. The living could be much worse than the undead."

At least the undead want to eat Rei, Nach thought.

Nach knew why Rei was being aggressively intimate, giving Hisashi a blowjob right after making him climax with a handjob.

Rei was surely pleasuring Hisashi in an attempt to clear her conscience for her intimacy with Nach and probably trying to overwhelm the memories both in her body and mind.

That's how Nach interpreted Rei's actions—and he felt sorry for her upon seeing Hisashi's pathetic face, as if he were in pain from his oversensitive and puny rod that had already shrunk after cumming once, failing to get hard even with Rei's erotic blowjob.

While Nach was in the middle of trash-talking Hisashi, still pretending to look at the bridge with the binoculars, Shizuka approached him from behind and tugged his clothes to get his attention.

"Can I talk to you for a bit, Nach?"
