"Perry, please... you have to shift back, you have to let Marcela examine her, or she's going to die!" Timothy begged the savage black beast. "Perry. You're going to kill her!"
Perry had sunk too deep into his beast—that's why their voices couldn't reach him.
"Perry!" Flynn shouted as well. He still held his views about Phoebe, believing the woman wasn't right for the king, that it would be better if she disappeared.
Still, he was rational enough to picture what would happen to Perry if he lost Phoebe now. There was a strong possibility they'd never get him back, and he had no desire to kill his own king.
"Perry! Come back, you're not helping by holding onto her!" Flynn moved beside Timothy, attempting to step forward, but the beast growled threateningly, and Timothy yanked him back immediately.
"What are you doing? You're going to get yourself killed!"
