Perry's POV
"Where is she?" My voice cut through the air like ice. I could sense Flynn's scheming from miles away, though the full scope of his betrayal remained hidden. "Answer me, Flynn. Where is she?"
"Who?" Flynn fought to keep his voice steady, but his effort fell short. "Why are you here, Perry? You should be resting at the hospital."
He stepped forward, but my fist connected with his face before he could get closer. The sickening crack of bone rang through the dining room, followed by dishes crashing to the floor as his body slammed into the table.
"Where is she, Flynn?" I repeated, fury blazing in my chest. I stalked toward my royal beta, who clutched his shattered nose, moving like a hunter closing in on wounded prey. "I won't repeat myself again. You'd better speak now."
Flynn muttered curses while snapping his nose back into place before his healing kicked in—otherwise, he'd have to break it again later.
