Sandy's POV
Darkness consumed everything around me. An icy chill crawled up my spine as my bare feet touched unseen water below.
I spun in circles, desperately searching for anything familiar, but only emptiness stared back. Panic seized my chest as I broke into a run, fleeing from the suffocating black void.
"You belong to the Wilona bloodline. Remain by the King's side." The piercing shriek cut through the silence, making my blood freeze.
I whipped around, hunting for whoever spoke those cryptic words, but before I could make sense of anything, the nightmare began crumbling apart. Light leaked through the dissolving darkness as I clawed toward it.
My body jolted upright and consciousness slammed back into me. The familiar gray walls of Charles's bedroom came into focus as my lungs fought for air.
Those haunting words echoed in my skull. Wilona Wolf. What did that even mean? The voice had sounded so certain, so urgent.
"How are you feeling, Luna?"
