"Now let's go level up." Nil finally stepped out of the alley cracking his knuckles.
After exiting the alley he met himself among the crowd of people again, however he did not even glance at them but rather headed in a certain direction.
"Here we are."
Nil finally stop after reaching the front of a humongous red colored gate which leads directly out of the Peak continent.
The gate is easily over 20 feet tall and almost a whooping 100 feet wide. Some people might actually think the gate is made of steel however Nil knows better.
Giving himself a moment to be marveled by the sight of the gate, he finally proceed to the pedestrian lane which is at one end of the gate.
And note this gate did not lead out of the continent, but rather out of one of the Kingdom under Peak continent which Nil currently is at. Even if he exit this gate, he will only be out of ** Kingdom and still in peak continent.
"Hey, young man, where's your ID?" One of the guard at the pedestrian lane called out to Nil when he wanted to enter the VIP pedestrian lane.
"..." Nil looked at him expressionless.
Of course, Nil knew that the pedestrian lane can only be passed by some specific people's, but he was not even intending to pass there before. He had lose his focus while staring at the gate earlier and tilted to the VIP lane, he hadn't even reach there when the guard called out to him.
And although Nil have an ID card, the one that was given to every player, he did not bother bringing it out since he is only a commoner and just stared at the guard.
"Go that way and stop disturbing me, kid." The guard shooed him to the civilian lane
Nil did not even let the guard complete his speech before heading for the commoners lane which was heavily jam-packed with people's.
"This is why I hate passing the commoners pedestrian lane." With a somewhat heavy sigh Nil plugged himself among the crowd of people trying to squeeze his way to the from.
While he was squeezing his way to the front so he can get out of this Kingdom, he finally made his first encounter with other players.
Looking at the distance, he could see four people, 2 men and 2 women chatting among themselves while also trying to squeeze their way to the front.
Nil was able to know they are player because of what he overheard them discussing.
"Guy 1: You know I still couldn't process's how this game was made, it is just too realistic." He said while looking at one of the two ladies.
"Lady 1: You have been ranting on and on since we formed the party. Why don't you just shut up for a moment for damn sake." The other lady said while glaring at both the men.
"Ella stop, you know he is the only one we can rely on while on this mission. And I've told you about his behavior before we formed the party, it's not like we forced you into joining." The second lady which the man looked at earlier said the first lady which name seems to be Emma.
"Yes you did tell me, but I would have never have imagined it to be this extreme." Emma said glaring at the man
"Have any of you guys try drinking beer in this game already to see how it taste?" The man Emma glared at asked while ignoring the glare he just got from Ella.
"Why don't you also try limiting how much you annoy others." The second lady said to the man.
"Ok then, have any of you drank water to know how it feels and taste? I think that's less annoying, no?" The man said smiling, foolishly.
"I'd be damned." Ella mumbled to herself.
"Guys you know I've been thinking—" The second guy in the team was trying to say something, but was abruptly cut short by the second lady.
"You too won't keep quiet.. now?" She said forcefully pushing herself forward as some people are trying to push her backward.
"You see guys, since I log into the game I've been thinking, how will it feel like if I press someone's breast. Do you think you can help me?" The man asked the second lady while ignoring her attempt to keep him shut.
"..." Glares
The lady glared at him however the other man, the annoying one burst into an uncontrollable laughter, drawing the attention of some of the crowds to himself.
"If you are not okay with that I'll do just fine with pressing your butt, how about that?"
"Bwahahah." The annoying man laughed more harder than before after hearing that, whereas the lady called Emma just shook her head while mumbling
"Gods, how did I find myself in this team?" She questioned herself.
All that conversation between the four of them was heard by Nil and he just shook his head while looking away, ignoring the rest of their little fiasco as he is also struggling to pull himself forward.
The reason Nil was able to hear all they had been saying was because his enhanced hearing was also carried from the real world to the game world due to him Cultivating with Nothing.
Normally when one cultivates, the energy that person uses is usually best attuned to cultivate 1 aspect of that person like their physical body, their soul, their spirit and so on.
Furthermore they are other energies that can cultivate more than 1 aspect of that person, like mana that cultivates both the magic power and physical body of a person. One of those energy is Nothing, but Nothing is superior to them in every way possible because it cultivates everything, every aspect that person have at the same time.
Sometimes later, which Nil could testify is more than hours he finally reach the gate, and even when he reach it he still has to wait for his turn as the only hurdle left before him is a narrow road for one person at a time.
After reaching his turn, Nil finally breath out and sighed in relief.
"ID please." The guard at the gate exit demanded which Nil comply by simply handling the ID card in his robe pocket to the guard.
"Checked." The guard said while handling the ID card back to Nil after he has confirm that the ID card is genuine and he is not a criminal.
"Remember if you are to enter the kingdom, you are to pay a fee of a silver coin." The guard stationed at the exit gate said to him before opening the human sized door that will lead him out of the Kingdom.
Nil noticed the guard giving him a weird look which he relate to the guard reactions m on seeing Your Father on the ID,the guard knew that he might be a important person under cover, a powerful one even to be able to change his ID to Your Father.
The guard had even thought of arresting Nil for some question, but decide not to since the ID wasn't falsified.
Nil did not even bother looking at the guard while walking out of the gate, completely ignoring the weird stare he gave gave him.
