Sallie's POV
Since Johan's accident, I'd stationed people to monitor Jill's every move. Playing it safe, I even deployed multiple surveillance teams—not the smallest action could slip past my watch.
Jill had always been meticulous. Even her cash drops to Greg were executed flawlessly, without leaving a trace.
This time was different. Something had spooked her enough to contact Greg directly and arrange a face-to-face meeting.
My people kept their distance, afraid of spooking the pair, so they couldn't catch the conversation. But Jill's body language told the whole story—rage mixed with desperation, yet she seemed powerless against Greg. Like he held some serious leverage over her.
Whatever they discussed, Jill passed him a thick stack of bills. Greg immediately booked passage on an overseas vessel. The guy was ready to bolt.
I contacted my surveillance team watching Greg and gave the order to grab him immediately.
