"Sigh, Billy, you really are something… Nekomata, did you find anything?" Nicole asked, glancing at the Cat Thiren girl.
"Ah, yes! Let me check how much cash is in this supposedly valuable wallet…" Nekomata said, opening the wallet.
Seeing the familiar wallet in her hand, Anby's heart skipped a beat. She instinctively reached for her pocket, only to find it empty.
"My wallet! Did you take it when I was digging through the box? Give it back!"
Anby's emotions were a bit tense, as if the wallet held some incredible secret, which only made Nekomata even more curious.
"Who told you to look for things with such an unwilling expression? Huh? How strange. It's one thing that your wallet has Nicole's photo, but who is this handsome boy?"
Nekomata pulled a photo from her wallet, and the person in it was none other than Wise.
"My photo? This angle… when was this taken?" Wise muttered, trying to remember.
"Wait, you don't even know? Oh wow, I didn't expect that girl Anby, with that deadpan face, to actually be a stalker," Nekomata said, surprised by his clueless look.
"No, I wasn't aware, but that doesn't mean I said Anby couldn't take my photo."
Hearing his words clearly siding with Anby, Nekomata unconsciously pouted, feeling a little jealous that he cared so much about her.
