Chang Wei delivered his opening remarks while a few of his trusted prison guards quickly pulled out their electric batons, turning them to the maximum setting.
The crackling sparks reminded the prisoners involuntarily of the charred corpse from earlier, sending a shiver down their spines.

Chang Wei's voice was cold and arrogant,
