Chapter 412 - Chapter 246: First Hokage, Do You Want to Be Revived? (Part 2)

Back then, he used the power of the Hokage to suppress the Uchiha, and now Uchiha Yoichi is using the same method to suppress him in return.

"Sorry, Third Lord."

After Nara Shikaku apologized again, he stood up and left the Sarutobi Family with Yamanaka Haiichi and Akimichi Chouza.

At this point, the three clans had no choice but to bow to the Hokage. All children of appropriate age in the clan would attend school, and the ninja within the clan applied to join various departments of Konoha, waiting for assignments.

Previously, the clan leaders still had some use, but starting the day after tomorrow, they would merely hold empty titles, as the Hokage's orders would supersede them.

Doing this at least ensures the survival of the clanspeople. If they refuse, they would wander the Ninja World with all their clanspeople, and perhaps in a dozen years, there would no longer be the Ino-Shika-Cho trio.

After Nara Shikaku and the others left, Jiraiya fell silent, not knowing what to say.

Sarutobi Hiruzen also did not speak. After taking a sip of tea from the cup Jiraiya gave him, he couldn't help but recall his old friends; Danzo was now worse than dead, without even his own consciousness, repeating the same street-sweeping movements every day.

Utatane Koharu and Mitokado Homura, unwilling to relinquish power, were kept busy with many tasks daily, but dared not engage in any sly acts, laboring diligently like old oxen.

Although Akimichi Torikaze was retired at home, his entire clan had been in danger before; even after meeting the Reanimated Second Generation Hokage, there was no effect.

If the struggle continued, Sarutobi Hiruzen feared the Sarutobi family would also be destroyed by him. In fact, the Sarutobi family was already receiving the same treatment as the Ino-Shika-Cho, only able to hold on for a bit longer due to their strong foundation.

"Old man, are you okay?"

Jiraiya suddenly felt Sarutobi Hiruzen becoming hunchbacked and asked worriedly.

Sarutobi Hiruzen shook his head and said, "I'm fine, Jiraiya. You should go back first; I want some time alone."

"Old man...then I'll leave first. If you need me, just let someone inform me."

Jiraiya didn't voice his thoughts, shook his head, then got up and walked out.

After leaving the Sarutobi Family, Jiraiya suddenly felt aimless; Orochimaru was either in his underground lab or training disciples.

Tsunade...sigh.

Jiraiya felt a pang of heartache. He'd rather be a wandering writer in the Ninja World than face these matters in the village.

However, after that guy became Hokage, the strict management of the village's ninjas made it difficult for Jiraiya to wander in the Ninja World.

Also, Tsunade's dream might have changed, and his persistence seemed hopeless... While walking, Jiraiya suddenly found himself near the Minato house and subconsciously walked towards it.

Previously, when he was in a bad mood, he would look for Minato, but now Minato had passed away for some time, although his son should have grown up.

With this thought, Jiraiya decided to visit, maybe even talk to Kushina about disciple matters.

Upon arriving at Namikaze Minato's house, he was about to knock when he suddenly felt someone approaching quickly from behind.

"Hey, mister in front, what are you doing in front of my house!"

Upon hearing this, Jiraiya turned his head and saw a yellow-haired child running towards him quickly, then leaping to the wall beside him, landing between Jiraiya and the door.

'This child is Minato's, seems to have great ninja potential...'

This thought flashed through Jiraiya's mind, and he crouched down to ask, "Little guy, what's your name?"

"Uzumaki Naruto, what about you? Are you looking for my mom?"

Uzumaki Naruto said, not afraid that the person in front might be a bad guy. Earlier at Uncle Yoichi's house, he learned a couple of shuriken throwing tricks from Brother Itachi and was now eager to find someone to test them on.

"I, uh, I guess I am...."

"Naruto, don't run so fast next time!"

Before Jiraiya could finish, someone interrupted him from behind. When Jiraiya stood up and looked back, he saw it was Kushina.

"It's Master Jiraiya."

Kushina nodded in greeting, although the closeness of previous times had faded; after letting Naruto inside, she remained outside.

Before Jiraiya could speak, Kushina asked first, "Master Jiraiya, I have something to ask you. Is it still possible to find Minato's body now?"

"Body... that might be difficult. According to reports, Nagato turned Minato's body into a Rinnegan clone, and now whether Nagato is still alive is uncertain...."

Jiraiya sighed and shook his head, having learned from the Second Generation Hokage that Nagato's Rinnegan belonged to Uchiha Madara, who intended Nagato to resurrect himself, making Jiraiya realize Nagato wouldn't survive long.

"Is there not a shred of hope?"

"I'm afraid it's difficult, lacking intelligence.... But Kushina, why do you want Minato's body?"

"Because if...."

Halfway through, Kushina paused, suddenly wondering if mentioning Uchiha Yoichi's ability to resurrect Minato would raise Jiraiya's suspicions.

Resurrecting someone has a huge cost, and previously Uchiha Yoichi disagreed. By what means did Kushina persuade Uchiha Yoichi?

Momentarily struggling to find a plausible excuse, and worried about others discovering her dealings with Uchiha Yoichi, Kushina hurriedly thought, "Having Minato's body would allow him to be resurrected through Reanimation Jutsu, so... so Minato can see Naruto too...."

"Is that so... But after Naruto grows up, it might make him miss Minato even more."

Jiraiya didn't claim it a good idea, feeling it disrespectful to disturb the deceased unless Minato could be fully resurrected; yet, since it was Kushina's wish, he declined to say it was bad.

"Kushina, Naruto is about ready to start training, and I'd like to take him as a disciple. What do you think...."

Before Jiraiya could finish, there was a 'poof' and he turned into smoke, vanishing completely.

Kushina quickly realized it was the Reverse Summoning Jutsu that had summoned Jiraiya away, but even so, she had found her answer to the prior question.

"It's still better not. Naruto will have other teachers by then...."

As Kushina turned to go back inside, she recalled the scene of Uchiha Yoichi teaching Naruto, hesitated for a moment, then shook her head angrily, muttering in a low voice, "Naruto's teacher can only be Minato. Once Minato is resurrected, he'll teach...."

In the Hokage Office, upon hearing Uchiha Yoichi's words, not only Senju Hashirama but also Senju Tobirama and Tsunade froze for a moment.

Then Tsunade was the first to speak, "Yoichi, isn't resurrecting powerful ninjas a huge risk for you?"

As soon as she finished speaking, Tsunade realized her concern for her grandfather's revival seemed hasty, though her worry was indeed more for this shy little ghost, who was the father of the child in her belly.

"Fifth Hokage, I know the Rinnegan can resurrect the dead, but who knows, it might be a life-for-life Forbidden Technique, and I have already lived through an era as a dead person, so resurrection doesn't hold much...."

"Hold on, First Hokage, both you and Tsunade are mistaken."

Uchiha Yoichi, unwilling to hear Senju Hashirama's grand philosophy, interrupted him, "If it were before, resurrecting someone of your caliber would be a significant burden on me, but not anymore...."

Here, Uchiha Yoichi paused for a moment, then pointed to his Rinnegan and continued,

"Now I've awakened a different Pupil Technique, and resurrecting you costs me merely a bit of Chakra, hardly a price; moreover, the village's development needs you, First Hokage. After comprehensive consideration, that's why I'm asking."

"So, First Hokage, do you wish to be resurrected?"
