Chapter 300 - Chapter 195: Nagato's Decision

Gama Kosuke held the scroll in his mouth, then directly dispelled the Summoning Jutsu and returned to Mount Myoboku.

Subsequently, Namikaze Minato said to Kushina, "This should be fine now. If Jiraiya-sensei needs me... sorry, Kushina, I might not be able to accompany you then."

Upon hearing this, Kushina felt a bit disappointed, but she still smiled and said, "It's okay, Minato...."

————————————

In Cegu Town, Land of Tea, Jiraiya had originally heard news of Tsunade's presence and wanted to find her to say hello, but suddenly received a Reverse Summoning Jutsu from Mount Myoboku.

After being summoned to Mount Myoboku, Jiraiya asked, "Bunta, why did you call me? What's going on?"

"It wasn't me, Kosuke said Minato had a message to pass to you, that's why I called you."

After Gama Bunta finished speaking, a small toad leaped over, then spit out the scroll from its mouth and said to Jiraiya,

"Jiraiya, this is what Namikaze Minato asked me to give you."

Jiraiya picked up the scroll and looked at it, then his brow furrowed deeply.

He immediately thought of those three students who founded the Akatsuki Organization, Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato; Danzo had previously helped Hanzo hunt down Yahiko and Konan, and now comes this news....

Although Minato said this might be a false provocation, not many people knew he had these three students, aside from Orochimaru, Tsunade, the old man, and Minato... besides them, no one else knew about Yahiko and the others.

What concerned Jiraiya most was Nagato's Rinnegan. If Danzo really targeted those three students, what happened to the Rinnegan?

"Bunta, I need to go to the Land of Rain, lately I might call on you for battle..."

Pow!

After saying this, Jiraiya directly dispelled the Reverse Summoning Jutsu and returned.

Seeing the flustered Jiraiya, Bunta asked Kosuke about the matter and still didn't get it: "This guy Jiraiya, doesn't say things clearly..."

But it didn't think much of it either, it's just a battle; as long as it's not a Tailed Beast, the rest can be dealt with.

Back in the Ninja World, Jiraiya had already given up on finding Tsunade. He headed directly in the direction of the Land of Rain.

Although returning to Konoha to find Danzo was an option, Jiraiya didn't have the confidence to get answers from that old guy Danzo's mouth, only the old man could be questioned, so Jiraiya went straight to find Yahiko and the others.

The distance from the Land of Tea to the Land of Rain was still significant.

Jiraiya had to first take a boat to the Land of Rivers, then cross through the Land of Rivers to enter the Land of Rain.

By the time he arrived in the Land of Rain, five days had passed.

"It's been five days, has Minato sent any message.... never mind, I won't wait for him."

Jiraiya thought for a moment, then began to inquire about the Akatsuki Organization's news on his own; before coming, he had asked Minato to check with the old man about what Danzo had been up to recently.

But since Minato hadn't sent a message yet, it possibly meant no action from the old man's side.

"If Danzo hadn't done anything, one sentence from the old man would suffice, but there's been no news in five days...."

Jiraiya took a deep breath, then proceeded to enter the Land of Rain to gather information about the Akatsuki Organization in a small town.

However, the Akatsuki Organization now seemed like a frightened bird; their leader Yahiko was killed, and there were suspicions of a traitor within; plus, Konan and Nagato hadn't appeared, causing other members of the Akatsuki to drop out after short stays.

It's been about ten days since Yahiko's death.

Three leaders haven't shown up for more than ten days, with no directives, and their funds and supplies are exhausted; aside from die-hard followers, not many can hold out for so long.

Furthermore, there's the pursuit from the Hidden Rain Village outside.

In such circumstances, the Akatsuki Organization, which made Hanzo apprehensive, soon disbanded.

Obito didn't need such an Akatsuki Organization; he wanted an Akatsuki that could help him capture and seal the Tailed Beasts, requiring at least eight strong ninjas, and then let Nagato oversee the sealing of the Tailed Beasts.

Once all nine Tailed Beasts are sealed, the Moon Eye Plan was within reach.

"Obito."

After Obito taught Nagato to guide the power of the Rinnegan and left this secret place, White Zetsu suddenly emerged from the ground and said to Obito: "An annoying person has come, who might disturb Nagato."

"Who?"

"One of the Konoha Sannin, Jiraiya, seems to be Nagato's teacher as well."

Obito fell silent upon hearing this, if it was Jiraiya, it could indeed be troublesome; he suddenly thought of himself, if Namikaze Minato came looking for him now...

Without Rin, nothing in this world mattered anymore!

"I'll go talk to Nagato, you monitor Jiraiya's movements and report at all times."

"Got it!"

After finishing, White Zetsu submerged into the ground again.

And Obito also turned around and walked inside.

Upon returning, Nagato and Konan were somewhat puzzled, so Nagato asked: "Madara, why did you come back?"

"Someone has come to find you. It seems they want to explain about that day. Do you want to meet them?"

That day?

Nagato immediately recalled the day Yahiko died in his arms. To him, that was the day the Akatsuki Organization shattered.

"Who?"

"Your teacher, one of the Konoha Sannin, Jiraiya."

Obito sat on a rock and continued: "It seems he wants to explain clearly to you that the matter that day had nothing to do with Konoha...."

"There's nothing left to explain, Yahiko is dead, and the Akatsuki Organization isn't the same as it used to be."

Nagato interrupted coldly, words can deceive, but memories do not; after he could use the Rinnegan's Power, with the Human Path's power, he obtained information from the souls of two Root Ninjas, and they were definitely Konoha ninjas.

Plus, they were operating under Danzo's orders to annihilate the Akatsuki Organization!

Supporting them with money while helping Hanzo to annihilate them, causing Yahiko's death, destroying Yahiko's dream, and now wanting to come explain?

Nagato now only wants to carry on Yahiko's will and achieve permanent peace. As for Jiraiya... his feelings for him are very complicated, grateful for his teachings, but the thought that he came for Konoha fills him with uncontrollable anger.

Kahori asked: "Nagato, do you want to see Jiraiya-sensei?"

"You should best meet with him, maybe he's here to help you guys, and at that time, might sanction Danzo for you, after all, you three are his disciples."

Obito also spoke up from the side: "Moreover, avoiding is useless, that Sannin's reconnaissance skills aren't weak, he'll eventually find you, unless you leave the Land of Rain."

Nagato and Konan were silent for a while.

About a few minutes later, Nagato finally said: "In this state, I won't go to see him..."

"If you're worried he'll take you away, you don't need to think that way, with your ability to use the Rinnegan's power, you're definitely stronger than the Sannin, these are the eyes of the Six Paths Sage that settled the turbulent world."

"My legs...."

"Tobi."

After Obito finished, a strange person emerged from the ground next to him.

"Hello, I'm Tobi, Madara's assistant..."

"Let him help you, you can move freely and use his power, with that, the Sannin definitely won't be your opponent."

Obito said to Nagato: "If he really wants to take you away, then I'll intervene, so no need to worry."

His White Zetsu body had been cultivated, no longer requiring Tobi's assistance.

Nagato watched as Tobi approached him, furrowing his brow, but said nothing.

Until the entire Tobi attached to his body, feeling the power coming from this 'outer layer', Nagato understood what Madara meant.

Gradually, Nagato stood up from the wheelchair, feeling the power within his body, becoming more confident in realizing Yahiko's dream.

"Just a reminder, my power is limited. If you want to use my power to fully exert the Rinnegan's might, it's definitely impossible...."

Hearing Tobi's words, Nagato said nothing, but turned to Konan and said: "Konan, I'll go see Jiraiya-sensei alone, you stay here."

A hint of hesitation crossed Konan's face, but she finally nodded and said: "I understand, Nagato."
