Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: The Evil Uchiha Brat

"Kakashi, let's duel today!"

Uchiha Obito clenched his fists, full of fighting spirit; he had been careless when he lost at the Ninja Academy last time, but today he was completely different from last year, and he would definitely surprise Kakashi.

"I'm busy, and besides, stop bothering me. I'm on a mission right now."

Kakashi remained expressionless, but in his heart, he was wondering why Uchiha Yoichi was late today; usually, by the time he arrived here, Yoichi had already been training for a while.

However, Kakashi's words did not deter Uchiha Obito. He had been paying close attention in class at the Ninja School and training diligently in private, all for the sake of defeating Kakashi in front of Nohara Rin.

Thinking about the look of admiration in Nohara Rin's eyes after he defeated Kakashi, Uchiha Obito couldn't help but feel a flutter in his heart. He would gain Rin's admiration by then.

Uchiha Obito instinctively turned to look at Nohara Rin at this thought, but he saw that she was currently admiringly looking at Kakashi, which instantly made him feel jealous of Kakashi.

"Kakashi, let's duel. This is a challenge between men!"

"Stop pestering me. If you want to duel, wait until you become a ninja."

Kakashi remained unmoved. A duel with Obito was nothing compared to a duel with Uchiha Yoichi. At least Uchiha Yoichi had impressive battle achievements, capable of killing a Jonin, while Uchiha Obito...

Even though they were the same age, Kakashi didn't want to bully the kids from the Ninja School.

Crackle!

A steady and mild thunderclap accompanied by a lightning-enshrouded figure flickered through the forest and appeared before Kakashi.

"Kakashi."

The figure arrived first, with the voice following closely.

Hatake Kakashi was taken aback, then became surprised in his heart. The person before him was Uchiha Yoichi, and his speed left Kakashi visibly shocked.

He had noticed the lightning rushing through the woods just now, but it was much faster than him.

"I ran into some trouble today, and now the mission has changed. Please help me stop the person chasing me..."

"Wait a moment; if you don't explain clearly, I won't help you. Besides, changing the mission violates Konoha's mission regulations..."

Kakashi decisively refused, then curiously asked, "This is Konoha, and you're a Uchiha. Who's chasing you?"

"Sannin, Princess Tsunade..."

Uchiha Yoichi originally wanted to make up someone to fool Kakashi but forgot that he was currently particularly honest.

"Excuse me, even if my father were here, I'm afraid he wouldn't step in to stop Lady Tsunade."

After saying this, Kakashi immediately stepped aside to indicate, and then continued, "It seems today's training session will be postponed until tomorrow. I'll head back first."

"Kakashi, I said I wouldn't ask you, so don't ask me voluntarily..."

This sentence delayed Yoichi a bit. He initially wanted Kakashi to draw Tsunade's attention with his father's name, Hatake Sakumo, to give himself more time to flee further.

Who knew, a single query from Kakashi delayed him somewhat.

Crackle.

The lightning flickered lightly, and the figure vanished from its spot.

Two seconds later, a figure suddenly appeared before Kakashi, with a beautiful face and heroic spirit, coupled with the signature blonde hair. Adding to what Uchiha Yoichi had just said, Kakashi immediately recognized the person in front of him.

"Hey, what did that Uchiha brat just say to you?"

"I am Hatake Kakashi, who took on Uchiha Yoichi's training commission. Just earlier, Yoichi asked me to block Lady Tsunade, but I refused."

Facing the obviously angry Sannin, Kakashi answered honestly, without a hint of concealment.

"Sakumo's son? Consider yourself honest."

Tsunade glanced aside at the other two people, one being another infamous Uchiha kid, and the other likely from the Ninja Academy. Nohara Rin's admiring gaze clued Tsunade into knowing this little girl was her admirer.

However, Tsunade wasn't in the mood to converse with Nohara Rin right now. With one swift movement, she instantaneously chased in the direction where Uchiha Yoichi disappeared.

The prolonged failure to catch Uchiha Yoichi only intensified the anger within Tsunade. Initially, within the village, she didn't want to exert her full strength.

She originally intended to just ask Uchiha Yoichi something, but upon seeing him, memories of being beaten up by Uchiha Yoichi surfaced, souring her tone.

But what infuriated Tsunade was the teasing remark from that shy little ghost.

Ninja speed relies on chakra; any Instant Body Jutsu or fast movement method requires chakra support. As long as one can adapt to the flow speed of chakra within their body, their speed will increase infinitely.

Seeing Uchiha Yoichi run further and further away, Tsunade doubled the chakra flow within her, instantly boosting her speed.

Watching as the two drew closer, Uchiha Yoichi also sensed the impending danger.

Besides Tsunade's yelling reason, even just that teasing word made Uchiha Yoichi realize a decent conversation was unlikely; moreover, under his current temporary capability, communication was impossible.

He could only gamble!

Uchiha Yoichi swiftly recalled that Tsunade seemed not to possess Perception Ninjutsu, and grabbed a few smoke bombs from his ninja tools bag.

Then he pushed the speed of Instant Body to the limit, sharply turned, and threw the smoke bombs in hand.

The next second, three figures accompanied by lightning emerged from the smoke, each moving in a different direction.

"Shadow Clone? Competing chakra with me, you wicked little Uchiha!"

Tsunade sneered, quickly executing the Ren Seal, and produced two shadow clones, all three of them respectively pursuing the three Uchiha Yoichi.

She wasn't afraid her shadow clones might be defeated. If her clones couldn't handle a little ghost, she wouldn't be worthy of the title Sannin.

After Tsunade's swift pursuit for several seconds, as the smoke gradually dispersed, a man-sized stone went 'poof' and reverted from its transformation.

Using smoke to block visibility, preventing Tsunade from noticing additional irrelevant objects here, while the shadow clones drew her attention, he indeed succeeded.

"Fortunately, rash-minded people are so easily deceived, but the chakra is also almost... ugh!"

Before Uchiha Yoichi could finish his sigh, the memories from the shadow clones had been transmitted back.

So he didn't linger long and left immediately.

A minute later, Tsunade traced her steps back here, but now she couldn't find Uchiha Yoichi.

Thinking she had been fooled by a little ghost, an Uchiha nonetheless, Tsunade felt a surge of shame and anger.

"...Second Grandfather was right!"

Swoosh swoosh!

Two Anbu appeared next to Tsunade using Instant Body Jutsu, then respectfully said to her, "Lady Tsunade, Lord Hokage wants to see you!"

"Got it, got it, that old man calling people out everywhere for trivial matters, doesn't he have anything better to do!"

Tsunade disgruntledly replied, knowing well what business her teacher had for her—a trivial matter blown way out of proportion.
