Su Yi landed effortlessly on Tony Stark's sleek balcony, the residual wind from his Mach 10 flight ruffling Tony's perfectly styled hair. Tony stared, utterly dumbfounded.
"So," Tony finally managed, his voice thick with disbelief, "you can... fly now?"
"Sort of," Su Yi shrugged, adopting a nonchalant pose. "It feels pretty good, though I'm still working out the best posture—sword-riding is a bit dramatic, even for me."
Tony's eyelids twitched violently. He instantly realized Su Yi had flown over in the dead of night purely to show off his new, vastly superior mode of transport.
"How in the hell did you just acquire the ability to fly at ten times the speed of sound?"
Su Yi leaned against the railing, offering a blatant lie. "After I went back tonight, I just, you know, concentrated really hard and tried it. And sure enough, I could fly. It's really that simple when you stop overthinking things."
Tony was steaming. This was a speed his current Iron Man Armor couldn't touch without literally tearing itself apart from atmospheric friction.
"Tony, want to suit up? We could have a quick speed competition. First one to circle the Statue of Liberty wins."
Tony threw his hands up in exasperation. "Ah, I just had a drink! It's not suitable for high-speed atmospheric movement after drinking, Su! Very easy to have an accident. Now, be a good little alien and go back home."
Su Yi sighed dramatically. "Alas, flying alone is just so incredibly boring. Well then, good night, Tony."
He vanished in a flash of speed, leaving Tony standing alone, his sleep utterly ruined.
Tony paced the balcony, running the telemetry in his head. "Jarvis, I want a new armor! An armor that can easily hit Mach 20!"
Jarvis calmly reported, "Sir, achieving stable flight at such high speeds within the Earth's atmosphere is extremely difficult due to air resistance and thermal stress. The structural integrity of the current Mark series would fail."
Tony slowly calmed down, recognizing the painful reality. Su Yi's power set defied conventional physics.
"So, if I want to surpass him, I can't build an armor," Tony concluded grimly. "I have to build a rocket or a space shuttle." He slammed his fist onto the railing. "Damn it! Is he even human?"
Unaware of the existential crisis he'd caused, Su Yi had already Teleported home and was focused on his massive Fate Point windfall.
He had 1,522,000 FP and a LV7 Promotion Card. He decided to use the card on an offensive attribute and the FP on a defensive one, prioritizing longevity and power.
"I'll use the card on Strength and the FP on Durability. That leaves Intelligence, Speed, Spirit, and Energy at LV6—more than enough for now."
After the upgrades, Su Yi checked his status.

With LV7 Durability, Su Yi was practically immune to conventional weaponry, boasting a body of steel and hyper-accelerated recovery. He fell asleep content, ready for a normal, boring day of classes.
Later that evening, Su Yi was preparing to Teleport to Mary Jane's window when he sensed a faint movement inside his apartment. He sighed, knowing exactly who it was.
Inside, sitting calmly in his living room, were the bald Nick Fury and the stunning Natasha Romanoff.
"You know, invading my personal residence like this, I could justifiably empty my clip on you," Su Yi stated, leaning against the door frame. "Though if it were just a beauty like Natasha, I might be more accepting of the trespass."
Nick Fury, unfazed, got right to the point. "We've come to ask for your help, Spider Bully."
"My help? You just saw what I did to the Kingpin. I'm busy being a menace."
Fury ignored the sarcasm. "I've carefully considered your previous counsel regarding HYDRA and the corruption of S.H.I.E.L.D." He paused, letting the weight of the admission sink in. "Your suggestion that the entire organization must be torn down and rebuilt is correct."
"So," Fury continued, his single eye glinting with fierce resolve, "I've decided to seize control of the Red Room's Helicarrier and recruit the Black Widows to form a clean, new generation of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents."
Su Yi raised an eyebrow, genuinely surprised. Fury wasn't just planning; he was initiating a hostile takeover of a rival, state-sponsored assassin program. The Black Widows, being Red Room trained, were almost certainly not HYDRA assets, making them perfect, ready-made, and highly capable replacements for compromised agents.
"That's certainly a bold move, Director," Su Yi admitted. "And if I assist you in this audacious plan, what exactly do I get out of it?"
Fury instantly recognized the negotiating phase. "Name your price. What do you require?"
Su Yi considered his Fate Point goals. Fury possessed the intelligence and resources to find key targets that Su Yi needed to intercept.
"First," Su Yi began, "I need your intelligence network to locate two people: Wanda Maximoff and Pietro Maximoff."
He provided the details: "They're twins from Sokovia. Their hatred of Tony Stark is fueled by a past incident involving one of his bombs. They possess latent, but powerful, superpowers."
Fury scribbled notes furiously. "Troublesome subjects with ties to an Avenger's past. Noted. What else?"
"Second," Su Yi continued, "I require your comprehensive data files on Mutants."
Fury nodded slowly. "Mutants exist in this world, yes. They are currently divided into the public Brotherhood—trouble waiting to happen—the containment-focused X-Men Institute, and a large population trying to remain hidden. We can provide the relevant information for your 'investigation.'"
Su Yi thought for a moment. Most other tasks he could handle himself, including acquiring the Aether or the Time Stone later.
"In that case, we have a deal, Director. I will help you completely solve the Red Room's troubles and secure that Helicarrier."
"Happy cooperation," Fury affirmed, extending his hand.
Natasha then rose, her movements fluid and utterly mesmerizing, and approached Su Yi, her eyes locking onto his.
"And if you manage to find and rescue Yelena during this operation, I will personally see that you are properly thanked," she purred, her tone and gaze carrying a promise that was far beyond mere words.
Su Yi grinned, his full attention on the seductive spy. He actively wrapped his arm around Natasha's slender waist, pulling her closer until their bodies nearly touched.
"I'm certainly looking forward to that, Agent Romanoff."
The deal with Nick Fury is sealed, setting the stage for the hostile takeover of the Red Room and the hunt for the Maximoff twins.
