Chapter 275 - Chapter 139: How to Replenish Magic Power

"Um, no," Harry said honestly.

A moment of silence fell between them.

"Don't worry, Harry," Vivi said softly, "She is not only your friend but also my dear friend. I don't want her to remain asleep somewhere... Besides, you promised Mr. Malfoy that you'd definitely bring his daughter back safely."

"Yeah." Harry nodded, though sometimes Cassandra could be really... but he still missed her.

Sometimes when he thought about it, a hundred years ago at Hogwarts, apart from the Weasley family, Cassandra was the only one who treated him unconditionally well.

Even though he didn't know why, that was the truth.

Even if she was harsh with her words, at that time Harry found her quite annoying... but afterwards, Harry still thought she was pretty good.

"Actually," Harry said softly, "I miss her a lot too, and I even want to see her now..."

Vivi suddenly became alert.

What's going on?

I remember you used to think Malfoy was the most annoying, right? Why do you suddenly miss her now?

Could it be that you've had a change in character?

But no matter what, the proud Vivi didn't plan on playing any tricks.

Enduring a hundred years of solitude is in itself a testament to Cassandra's feelings for Harry - Vivi, who also experienced a century of loneliness, knew exactly what that felt like.

As proud as she was, she couldn't bring herself to speak ill of Cassandra behind her back or cause trouble between her and Harry.

As for winning or losing, she thought, let's wait until we meet before settling that.

"We will meet," Vivi gently reassured, "Don't worry, once we find out Cassandra's whereabouts from Gael, I'll go with you to find her."

Newt, who was beside them, exchanged a glance with Tina.

It seems this Miss Grindelwald... is not as bad as her brother?

Based on her personality, Newt thought Miss Grindelwald should be a woman who is sincere to her friends and loyal to her lover... How could such a person be that Grindelwald's sister? He was a bit puzzled.

Or is it that the Grindelwald family somehow disrupted the Oriental wizards' teachings on "feng shui," producing a bad egg like Gellert?

Mrs. Leme came out quietly and snuggled up to Mr. Leme, watching Harry and Vivi with a knowing smile.

"Ah, young people," Perenelle Leme mused, "Nico, were we also like this when we were young?"

"Indeed," Mr. Leme sighed, "Back then, we were so innocent that even holding hands by the river made us blush."

"Yes, those days were really wonderful," Mrs. Leme reminisced, "Just six hundred years ago, the water of the Seine River was as clear as crystal and the air was not as polluted as it is now, even drinking the river water didn't make you sick..."

"Why does that sound like a song lyric?" Tina asked Newt softly.

Newt answered in the same low voice, "It's a German folk song, 'We Hope Old Emperor William Returns'.

"Oh." Tina nodded in realization.

Harry took out a chocolate bar from his wallet, intending to take a bite.

Just as he was about to put it in his mouth, Pabi suddenly nudged over from the side.

"What are you eating? Give me some!" she said.

As she spoke, she tried to bite into the chocolate bar in Harry's hand.

But Harry quickly grabbed her horn.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch~" she cried, "Be gentle! It hurts so much..."

"Are you still pretending?" Harry snorted, "Mr. Leme has already told me, you can't eat human food... By the way, Mr. Leme, what's really wrong with Pabi, why does she stay like this?"

"This." Mr. Leme glanced at the pitiful Pabi and said leisurely, "There are indeed some minor issues, but..."

"But the problem's already solved!" Pabi said energetically, raising her head, and bouncing around a couple of times,

but Vivi gently furrowed her brows, looking at Pabi who was still bouncing.

Pabi noticed Vivi's gaze as if she'd seen through something, and she awkwardly lowered her forehoof, chuckling.

"Hehe, forgot this is Mr. Leme's alchemy room," she said embarrassedly, "If I accidentally break something, that would be terrible..."

"Wasn't it said that she can't taste anything?" Harry continued to ask, "Last time I accidentally switched dark chocolate with milk chocolate, and she sincerely said the dark chocolate was sweet..."

"That's why I don't recommend you continue feeding her, given, as I mentioned, her body is not the same as a normal unicorn's," Mr. Leme sighed.

"So what should we do?" Harry asked, "Pabi can't stay like this forever, right?"

He turned his head, looking up at Vivi, "Vivi, didn't we agree that when you got back, you'd check her condition? Do you have any good ideas to restore her to human form?"

"I don't have any good solutions for now, but we could carefully document Pabi's symptoms, and when we return to Hogwarts, we can consult the professors in the Map Secret Room," Vivi suggested softly.

"Good idea!" Harry clapped his hand, "Professor Lachham is the most knowledgeable, he surely has a solution."

But from his angle, he couldn't see Vivi observing Pabi with a complicated look.

"Alright, we've talked for long enough, we should have dinner now." Mr. Leme suddenly changed the subject, looking at Vivi, who was hugging Harry, and said, "After being cooped up in the Slytherin library for so long, I think you must be longing for some hometown dishes... Perenelle just had Luqi prepare some of your home country's cuisine, hoping she hasn't forgotten the taste of the Austrian Empire after all these years."
