Chapter 269 - Chapter 138: Vivi: Harry, I Want You to Help Me... (12,000)_5

"Then you'll need to look at some professional knowledge. I happen to have a friend who is a professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science," Mr. Granger said with a smile. "If you want, I can have him make a list for you, and you can go to the library to look it up."

Library?

Vivi's eyes lit up.

The library is great, the books in the library are free.

"However, if you want to learn about other knowledge..." Mr. Granger's expression and tone suddenly changed, like a vendor selling disks, "I would recommend you read some works from other countries, such as... like those from the Former Soviet Union, you can look at it comparatively."

"Former Soviet Union?" Vivi asked with interest.

"Yes," Mr. Granger said mysteriously. "I happen to have a complete set of 'World History' published by the Soviet Union at home, I can give it to you, it's the original Russian version..."

"Great! I happen to know some Russian," Vivi nodded happily, "Thank you, Uncle Askin."

She was full of energy now. Not only did she want to understand what had happened in the past hundred years, but she also wanted to learn how modern people view the past, and even wanted to understand history from different perspectives.

However, Vivi still bought some books from the bookstore, most of them were treasures from the old books.

There's even a German original "My World" in the corner of the bookstore, which Vivi was initially interested in, but Mr. Granger stopped her.

"Good children shouldn't read these things, Miss Grindelwald," Mr. Granger put the book back, "it's just the struggles of a failed art student in Vienna, nothing worth reading."

"Oh." Vivi nodded in understanding.

After finishing shopping, Mr. Granger said with a smile, "Alright, kids, I think we should go back—"

"Okay, Uncle Askin," Harry said, "but we need to make a trip to Diagon Alley first, you and Hermione go back first, we'll use Apparition Displacement to return to the Granger family later."

"Apparition Displacement?" Hermione said in a low voice, "My goodness, Harry, this isn't something a young wizard under seventeen can use, you must first get a permit before..."

However, Harry's one sentence shut Hermione up.

"You're allowed to use the Soul-snatching Curse?" Harry asked.

Hermione stared blankly ahead, feeling that she'd never be able to stand up straight in her life.

After coming out of the mall, Mr. Granger sent them to the Broken Cauldron Bar.

"See you in the evening." Hermione waved them goodbye.

She didn't know why, but from the first moment she saw Vivi, Hermione felt they were kindred spirits.

After shopping at the mall, Hermione understood, it's mutual appreciation between academic achievers.

Vivi smiled and nodded at her, watching them leave, then casually asked, "You actually taught them that spell?"

"Everyone should understand the hardships of society," Harry said succinctly.

Vivi suddenly laughed.

She remembered that time in the Earth Cave when Harry and Cassandra were practicing the Soul-snatching Curse together.

But...

That fool didn't even realize that Cassandra was pretending to be controlled by the Soul-snatching Curse...

However, Vivi didn't plan to expose it, she wouldn't lend a hand to that prideful creature.

The two walked through the Broken Cauldron Bar and arrived at Gringotts.

Of course, Harry hadn't forgotten to drink some Ageing Potion.

"It's still a habit," Vivi said with a smile.

"Which do you think is better, the young or like this?" Harry asked.

Vivi gave him a calm look: "Both are good."

They walked into Gringotts, and the fairies immediately approached, guiding them to Scard's office.

"Honored, Mr. Potter, honored."

Scard stood up in a hurry to greet Harry with a bow.

"And who is this?" She saw Vivi.

"Oh, this is my friend," Harry said with a light laugh, "the owner of Vault 313, Vilatia Grindelwald."

Upon hearing the name, Scard pinched himself hard to prevent making a sharp, explosive sound.

"Y-y-y-you're welcome, esteemed Miss Grindelwald!" he stammered. "Honored you could come back, my goodness, extremely honored..."

After a moment of chaos, Scard asked, "May I ask what the two of you need? Gringotts will do its utmost!"

"We need two Muggle visas and identity papers," Harry told Scard. "I suppose this isn't a difficult task for the well-connected Gringotts?"

So this is it...

Scard sighed with relief, just Muggle visas, that's really simple.

He smiled at Harry, "You can count on us, Mr. Potter. By tomorrow morning... no, just one hour, we'll have your and Miss Grindelwald's identity papers and visas ready—absolutely legitimate!"

"Thank you very much."

Harry said with a smile, acknowledging Gringotts' efficiency.

"Please leave me an address," Scard added, "and I need the two of you to cooperate by taking a couple of photos."

After everything was done, Harry said, "We need to go to Vault 313, to retrieve the last Princess Crown."

"No problem, Mr. Potter," Scard replied promptly.

Even though she knew the vault had been emptied long ago, seeing the barren vault, Vivi couldn't help but sigh.
