After Pabi finished eating the food Harry brought, everyone sat on the grass and began to chat.
Pabi lay curled on the ground, motioning for Harry to lean against her.
The others weren't so lucky; the four of them could only sit opposite Harry, looking enviously at him being so close to the Unicorn.
"If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I always thought Unicorns only grew close to the purest-hearted maidens," Hermione said with admiration. "But it's not surprising, after all, Harry saved Miss Pabi's life..."
"No, Hermione," Pabi corrected, "it's not because Harry saved me, it's because Harry and I are old friends."
"Eh? Old friends?!" The group asked in unison, surprised.
They all knew Harry grew up with his uncle and aunt and barely had any contact with the Magic World, so how could he be old friends with a Unicorn?
Harry tilted his head and asked, "Do you really want me to say it, Pabi?"
"Yes, Harry and I have known each other for over a hundred years," Pabi brushed Harry's face with her tail. "To be exact, it's been a hundred and five years!"
"A hundred and five years?!" Hermione quickly calculated, 1992 minus 105...
"How is that possible, a hundred and five years ago was 1887," Hermione's face was full of disbelief. "Harry is only twelve years old now, and you..."
"Unicorns have very long lifespans," Pabi replied cheerfully.
"That's impossible, unless Harry traveled through time to a hundred years ago and came back!" Hermione insisted, "But that's impossible, time travel only appears in science fiction, it can't happen in the real world!"
"Oh, if you don't believe it, that's okay." Pabi's eyes curved. The truth was, no one would believe it.
"I actually came to the Forbidden Forest before, and met Pabi then, and we became good friends," Harry said, vaguely omitting the part about the past.
This explanation was accepted by everyone, who believed it to be true.
"It seems, Miss Pabi, you've mistaken Harry for the Harry from a hundred years ago," Ron said, hugging his knees.
"You mean that Harry? I knew him too," Pabi replied with a light-hearted laugh.
"Oh—?"
The four of them exclaimed in surprise; they never expected that this Miss Unicorn in front of them would know that Harry from a hundred years ago.
"Yes, Harry from a hundred years ago was quite the figure at this school," Pabi said, smiling. "For example, like the Forbidden Forest behind us—what do you think of the Forbidden Forest?"
"What do I think? Of course, it's terrifying!" Seamus eagerly said, "The Forbidden Forest has everything, werewolves, and giants, and I've heard there are spiders as big as cars..."
Hearing 'spiders as big as cars', Ron didn't feel well.
For the first time in his life, he cursed his imagination for being so vivid. With just that one sentence, he had already sketched a rough image of the spider in his mind.
"Right?" Pabi glanced meaningfully at Harry, "But, Harry... each time he goes to the Forbidden Forest, it's like returning home."
"Eh? Really?" the four asked together.
"Of course it's true," Pabi said smilingly, "Now and a hundred years ago are very different. Back then, just outside the school were many Dark Wizards. The Forbidden Forest was also full of Poachers; they even had a Poacher Association, where they would auction Fire Dragons in their organized black market."
"Those days weren't particularly good for students either. Outside Hogwarts, danger lurked everywhere, and stories of students being harmed by Dark Wizards or even losing their lives were common..."
"Then why did they all disappear?" Hermione asked, puzzled. "Logically, poaching in the Forbidden Forest should be quite profitable. I don't believe such a large Poacher organization would just vanish..."
"Of course, they all died," Pabi said, raising her head with a very human-like smile. "Back then, the most notorious Fire Ash Snake Faction, so fierce that even the Ministry of Magic dared not easily provoke them, was completely crushed by this Harry Potter and his friends; Dark Wizards who dared to resist fell under Magic Spells. From then on, the name Fire Ash Snake Faction became history."
"I see..." The four all displayed expressions of admiration.
In their eyes, Pabi was a living witness to history. What she said must be true.
Moreover, that Harry Potter shared the same name as their Harry Potter, and naturally made them feel quite close to that Harry.
"Can you tell us more about that Harry and his friends?" Hermione, the scholar, was more interested in this hidden history than anyone else. She looked at Pabi expectantly for an answer.
Pabi found a comfortable position and began to tell Hermione.
"Yes, Harry had a few good friends around him. From Gryffindor, there was Gareth Weasley..."
Pausing here, she said to Ron: "That's your ancestor, Ron."
"Yes, he's my great-grandfather!" Ron said proudly, patting his chest, feeling proud that his ancestor was friends with the great Mr. Potter.
"And Amit Saka from Ravenclaw, Pabi Swedding from Hufflepuff," Pabi continued, "as well as Omnius Gaunt and Sebastian Saru from Slytherin."
"Additionally, there were two girls closely tied with Harry: Cassandra Malfoy and Villatia Grindelwald."
Pabi gave a sly glance at Harry as she said this, but found his expression unchanged.
"Grindelwald?!" Seamus furrowed his brow, "That last name... why does it sound familiar?"
"Of course, it's from the Chocolate Frog Card," Ron replied, turning around. "The Dark Wizard Dumbledore defeated in 1945 was named Grindelwald."
"Oh, right," Seamus said in realization, then asked Pabi, "Miss Pabi, what's the relation between Miss Grindelwald and that Dark Wizard Grindelwald?"
"As far as I know, Villatia Grindelwald is the sister of Gellert Grindelwald," Pabi recalled.
"Who would have thought, huh?" Ron turned back to look at his three companions, "Siblings, one eliminates Dark Wizards and another becomes a Dark Wizard. I'd love to know what reaction the missing Grindelwald sister would have if she knew her brother became a Dark Wizard..."
"You better not let those two Grindelwalds hear you say that," Pabi looked at Ron sympathetically, somehow feeling that Ron might end up in trouble with Gellert.
Hermione, however, caught the key point. She turned to Pabi.
"Miss Pabi, you mentioned a Hufflepuff named Pabi Swedding earlier? Is your name related to hers?"
