Chapter 113 - Albaf Kingdom

Mirajane pulled out a sealed bag from behind her, marked with a large red 'S'.

Upon seeing it, Takeshi's face immediately lit up with surprise.

Although working at the Guild was fulfilling, S-Class Quests were always more exciting.

Takeshi quickly took it, asking, "Mira, have others not seen it yet?"

Takeshi saw that the packaging was still sealed with wax, clearly unopened.

"This... I just got it and immediately ran over to give it to you."

Mirajane then remembered the normal procedure. She was supposed to show it to Makarov, register it, and then post it on the S-Class Quest board on the second floor, where S-Class Mages could choose whether to accept it.

But when she saw the S-Class Quest, she immediately thought of Takeshi and gave it to him.

Takeshi was deeply moved by Mirajane's gesture. He immediately hugged her waist and gave her a big kiss on the cheek.

"Mwah."

"Thanks, Mira."

Takeshi took the quest and went to find Makarov.

Mirajane was stunned by Takeshi's sudden action.

After she realized what had happened, her face instantly turned bright red, and she quickly looked around, afraid that someone had seen them.

But as soon as she looked up, she saw almost everyone in the Guild staring at her blankly.

Clearly, everyone had seen it, which made her incredibly shy. She covered her face with her hands and ran away.

"Takeshi and Mira are really together."

"He managed to win Mira over so quickly. Is this the power of an S-Class Mage?"

"What does this have to do with power?"

"If you're not even an S-Class Mage, what right do you have to pursue Mira?"

"That's true."

The Fairy Tail Guild members who witnessed this scene weren't too surprised.

Although nothing had been officially announced, everyone could tell from their daily interactions.

When Mira was at the Guild, whether talking, chatting, or working, she always showed a bit of favoritism towards Takeshi.

The look in someone's eyes when they like another person cannot be hidden. Their gaze is involuntarily drawn to the other person.

Takeshi took the request form directly to Makarov.

"Master, I want to take this job."

"Huh?"

Makarov was a bit surprised.

This kid only did S-Class Quests, why had he suddenly changed his mind?

Then, he looked down and saw a file bag with a large red 'S' written on it.

"Pfft—!"

"You rascal, when did you get an S-Class Quest?"

"Mira gave it to me."

"Mira..." Makarov shook his head helplessly.

He knew Mirajane and Takeshi had something going on, but he didn't expect Mirajane to secretly give an S-Class Quest to Takeshi, even before he, the Guild Master, knew what the quest was about.

Makarov opened the file bag and took out the request form inside.

[Quest Name: Please Save the Children!]

[Level: S]

[Content: The children of Albaf Kingdom have been abducted by villains. Please, powerful Mages, rescue the children.]

[Reward: 15,000,000 Jewels]

Makarov's expression changed slightly when he saw the quest.

Mirajane, seeing Makarov's expression, couldn't help but ask with some concern, "What's wrong, Master? Is there a problem with this quest?"

If there was a problem, she would advise Takeshi not to go, as S-Class Quests were very dangerous.

No matter how strong Takeshi was, he was still just one person, and his magic power was consumed very quickly. When a mage's magic power is exhausted, they are no different from an ordinary person, perhaps even worse.

Makarov shook his head. "No, there's no problem. Actually, I'm quite familiar with this Albaf Kingdom."

"Albaf Kingdom?"

Mirajane was a bit puzzled. She hadn't heard that name, and most people in Fairy Tail hadn't either.

Makarov said, "Hmm... It's normal for you not to have heard of it. Albaf is an extremely mysterious and closed country, rarely interacting with outsiders. But they have an alias you might have heard of."

"An alias?"

"Giant Kingdom."

Makarov revealed the alias of the Albaf Kingdom.

"Giant Kingdom!"

Everyone in the guild was startled.

"Giants? Are there really giants like in the legends?!"

"Aren't giants just myths?!"

"Dragons are also legends, yet there are Dragons, so it's normal for there to be giants too."

Everyone in the Guild started discussing animatedly upon hearing Makarov's words.

Legends of giants had always circulated throughout the world, and their Guild Master, Makarov, used Giant Magic.

"The Giant Kingdom is incredibly powerful. Although giants cannot use magic, their inherent combat strength is stronger than most Mages."

On this point, the members of Fairy Tail deeply agreed.

These giants were almost equivalent to Makarov using Giant Magic.

Makarov said, "Even such a powerful kingdom has encountered trouble, so this matter must not be simple. Takeshi, if you're going to take this quest, you must be extra careful."

[Ding! Successfully accepted S-Class Quest: Please Save the Children!]

Takeshi was in a great mood when he heard the system prompt.

"Don't worry, Master, I'm a very cautious person. Then I'll be off."

Takeshi made a heart gesture to Mirajane, then skipped away, feeling invigorated after not doing an S-Class Quest for so long.

Mirajane couldn't help but smile slightly when she saw the heart gesture from Takeshi.

Makarov gave Mirajane an exasperated look and said, "Next time, don't give this rascal special treatment again."

Mirajane sheepishly stuck out her tongue.

She knew it wasn't appropriate, but at the time, she hadn't thought much about it. Upon seeing it was an S-Class Quest, her first instinct was to give it to Takeshi.

Actually, it wouldn't have made a difference if she hadn't, as Takeshi was the only S-Class Mage in the Guild at the moment, so the quest would naturally have gone to him. She was just too eager.

...

Takeshi went home, packed his luggage, and set off lightly.

This quest location was relatively far, almost on the other side of the Ishgar continent.

He first took a train to Hargeon Port. It was already late, so he rested overnight in Hargeon.

The next day, he transformed into Ace at the port, and drove Ace's small boat to the shore opposite the Ishgar continent.

After resting there for a night and fully recovering his condition, on the third day, he transformed into Ulquiorra and used his flying ability to fly across the Grand Canyon, finally reaching the Giant Kingdom.

Takeshi completed all this in less than three days, but according to a normal process, this journey would have taken at least a month and a half.

At this moment, Takeshi stood before the city walls of the Giant Kingdom, exclaiming, "So big!"
