Chapter 69 - Lullaby is Out

"Oh my goodness!"

Takeshi stepped forward with his left foot, then exerted force with his body, and the entire train engine flew towards Erigor.

Whoosh!

The train engine, like a high-speed train traveling at hundreds of kilometers per hour, crashed into Erigor.

"Magic Wind Palm!"

Erigor's expression changed drastically, and he raised his palm, releasing a powerful tornado.

Boom!

The tornado slammed into the train engine, slightly slowing it down.

Erigor took advantage of this moment to quickly dodge.

Whoosh!

The train engine narrowly missed Erigor's head, its terrifying speed sending a shiver down his spine. If he had taken such a hit head-on, he would be crippled even if he didn't die.

"Monster!"

Erigor looked at Takeshi, a deep wariness flashing in his eyes. To be able to lift a train engine, and even throw it so high and so far, what else could he be but a monster?

"Huh, missed again. Your luck is really something."

Takeshi's contemptuous tone infuriated Erigor.

"You damn bastard! Don't be too arrogant! Now I'm getting serious!"

Erigor crossed his arms and roared, "Storm Mail!"

A large amount of strong wind began to rotate rapidly around Erigor's body, and soon, an armor made of wind enveloped him.

"Wow. That looks a bit interesting."

"Hmph! Take this!"

Erigor's body, like a drill, plummeted towards Takeshi.

Takeshi lightly tapped his toes, his body floating backward.

Boom!!!

A large hole was drilled by Erigor where Takeshi had just been.

"Hmph! Trying to escape? In my assassination career, no one who has seen this magic of mine has ever survived."

Storm Shred!

Erigor raised his hand and unleashed a large number of wind blades. This time, the wind blades were faster and denser.

Takeshi stood still, wielding the rail he had just pried from the tracks.

Clang... Clang...

All the wind blades were easily blocked by Takeshi with the rail.

"Damn it!"

Seeing that Storm Shred had failed to take down Takeshi, Erigor waved his hand again, releasing a large number of wind blades.

Takeshi still casually blocked all the wind blades with the rail, even closing the distance with Erigor while defending.

Just as Takeshi got close to Erigor—

Strong winds quickly blew outwards from around Erigor's body.

Takeshi, caught off guard, was blown backward by the wind.

"Did you see that?! This is the power of Storm Mail! The wind of Storm Mail blows from the inside out. You can't get close to me."

"What is this? I thought it would be more impressive, but it's just this?" Takeshi had a look of disappointment.

Takeshi's expression once again stung Erigor's pride.

"Damn it! That expression again! You bastard! Since you're looking for death, I'll show you my strongest magic!"

"Take this!! The wind-type magic that tears everything to shreds, Emera Baram."

Erigor brought his index and middle fingers together, his magic power continuously condensing towards the two fingers.

"No matter how strong you are, once hit by my magic, you will be torn to shreds."

"Die! You damn monster!"

Erigor crossed his fingers, and rapidly spinning storms, mixed with sharp wind blades, swarmed towards Takeshi. Everything in the path of the storm was shredded.

"Heh."

Takeshi showed a slightly excited smile. Not only did he not dodge, but he quickly spun the rail in his hand.

Boom!

A violent explosion occurred, destroying everything around it.

"Hmph! What Tyrant? In the end, didn't he still die by my hand? Don't worry, I'll send the old men on their way to join you soon, with Lullaby."

"Hey, I'm not dead yet, don't unilaterally claim credit for yourself."

At this moment, Takeshi's voice suddenly sounded from the smoke.

"What?!!"

Erigor's eyes widened as he looked into the smoke in disbelief, only to see a figure standing there, still with that contemptuous expression on his face, completely unharmed.

"No! Impossible! No one could withstand my Emera Baram and remain unscathed! Absolutely impossible!!"

Takeshi calmly said, "It seems you only have this much ability. Never mind, I'm tired of playing. It's time to end this boring battle."

Erigor's face immediately became distorted. "Bastard! Don't think you've won just because you withstood my attack. You still can't even get close to…"

Whoosh!

Takeshi's body appeared in front of Erigor, holding the rail with both hands, in a baseball batting stance.

Takeshi curled his lips and asked, "Can't even what?"

Erigor's pupils contracted sharply. Before he could react, a sharp pain erupted from his abdomen. Stomach acid instantly rushed up his throat, and his body arched like a cooked shrimp. Tears and saliva mixed together, spewing from his eyes and mouth.

Bang!

Erigor's body flew backward rapidly.

Boom... Boom...

Erigor smashed through the train carriages one by one, finally coming to a stop after crashing into a large pit in the carriage. By now, his eyes had rolled back, and he had lost consciousness.

"Home run."

Takeshi was very satisfied with his hit.

"Uh…Oops! I got carried away and forgot the time again."

"Hey! All these guys are down, you should come out now, Lullaby."

Since he had recalled this plot, he naturally knew the true identity of Lullaby. This flute was created by Zeref and was not considered a demon from Zeref's book, but rather a failed product, so Zeref simply discarded it after creating it.

Yet, even such a failed product brought endless trouble to this continent.

"…"

The air was silent for a moment.

Takeshi just quietly watched where Erigor had fallen.

Suddenly—

A flute flew out from Erigor's body.

"Hehehehe. You actually found me. What a bunch of useless trash!"

"I can't stand it anymore. I'll do it myself."

Green smoke emanated from the mouth of the flute. The smoke quickly took shape, and a giant monster, seemingly made of tree roots and dozens of meters tall, appeared before Takeshi.

The awakened Kageyama was terrified by this giant monster, his face full of fear. "What… is this? I didn't know such a thing existed."

"I'm so hungry, let me taste your souls."

The monster opened its huge mouth.

Pfft!

But just as it opened, a rail shot into its mouth, piercing through the back of its head.

"Sorry. Excuse me for interrupting, but your voice is too unpleasant, so your singing must also be very unpleasant. Of course, there's nothing wrong with you singing, but coming out to annoy people is not right."
