Chapter 290 - Episode 290:✨The Mischievous Sky Baby✨

Episode —

The morning sunlight filtered softly through the curtains, dust motes dancing in the golden rays. Kiara padded through the house, a baby feeder in one hand, murmuring under her breath.

"Where the heck is this boy… Kiaan! Kiaan!!!" she called, her voice a mixture of exasperation and amusement.

From the doorway, Bhoomi appeared, eyebrow raised. "Why are you calling out to him like that?"

Kiara's lips curved into a tired, exasperated smile. "Kiaan fled again. He didn't want to eat. I wonder… what kind of mischief does he dream up every single day? He's just nine months old, and already giving his mother a headache!"

Bhoomi chuckled softly. "After all… he is his father's son."

Kiara nodded emphatically. "Exactly. Exactly. It's in his genes."

Together, they began their search, moving from room to room. The house was alive with soft creaks and rustles as if even the walls were aware of Kiaan's mischief.

They reached the hall, where Moti Baa and Susheela were sitting. Kiara's voice lifted with hope. "Baa, Aunt Susheela, have either of you seen Kiaan? He's missing again."

Neither of the older women had. They shook their heads, sharing a knowing smile at Kiara's frustration.

Kiara and Bhoomi continued searching, scanning the room, calling gently, "Kiaan, come down… please, sweetheart."

And then Kiara's eyes caught movement in the mirror.

There he was. Kiaan, small and agile, climbing the wall like a little gecko, his tiny fingers clutching the edge of the molding. He turned to peek at her, a mischievous giggle escaping his lips.

"Kiaan! Get down from there, baby!" Kiara called, her voice softening into a laugh.

He only giggled louder.

Before Kiara or Bhoomi could react, Kiaan scampered onto the ceiling, crawling across it as if gravity were optional. Their mouths fell open, a mixture of shock and delight.

"Kiaan… no, no… not the ceiling!" Kiara exclaimed, stretching out her arms.

Bhoomi put her hands up in surrender. "I think… he's taken after his father more than we thought."

Kiara's lips trembled between a smile and a sigh. "I guess… Yuvaan, you've created a little whirlwind in human form!"

The baby cooed, flying and spinning across the room like a tiny, golden sprite. Kiara and Bhoomi moved carefully, their hands reaching, their voices soft and coaxing.

"Kiaan… mummy's right here… come to mummy… please, baby, come down…" Kiara's voice was full of warmth, patience, and a hint of laughter.

The little boy's eyes sparkled mischievously as he looked down at her, then hovered in place for just a heartbeat longer, like the tiniest king surveying his kingdom.

And then, with a soft giggle, he fluttered toward her, landing safely in Kiara's outstretched arms.

Kiara breathed out a laugh, her cheeks flushed with relief. "Ahhh… my little whirlwind. You really do get that from your father, don't you?"

Bhoomi shook her head, laughing softly. "He's already unstoppable. I can't imagine what the next year will bring."

Kiara held Kiaan close, brushing his soft hair back, and whispered into his ear, "Don't worry, my baby… mummy and daddy will always catch you, no matter how high you fly."

The room was filled with laughter, coos, and the gentle warmth of a family reunited. Even the sun seemed to pause, casting a golden glow over mother and child, as if blessing this tiny, mischievous whirlwind in the house.

Kiara finally managed to feed Kiaan after his sky-high adventure. With a sigh of relief, she wiped his little mouth and carried him into his nursery.

"There… now behave, okay?" she said lovingly as she set him down on the soft mat. She placed a few of his favorite toys around him—rattles, blocks, plush animals—and finally his beloved mini toy car.

Kiaan's face lit up instantly. He grabbed the toy car with both hands, giggling as he pushed it across the mat. The tiny wheels whirred softly.

"Good boy," Kiara smiled, finally relaxing for the first time that morning.

She turned to fold some of his clothes, humming softly.

But Kiaan… had other plans.

He sat with the toy car, touched it, and his eyes glowed faintly—just a tiny flicker of supernatural spark inherited from both sides of the family. The toy car began moving on its own… and then…

Outside on the main road—

Yuvaan drove with one hand on the steering wheel and the other scrolling through the boring meeting schedule on his tablet. Aakash sat beside him, sipping coffee.

"Bro, I swear," Yuvaan groaned, "if I sit in one more business meeting where Uncle Vinod explains profit margins like we're in nursery school, I'll actually cry."

Aakash burst into laughter. "It's your birthright torture, accept it."

Yuvaan rolled his eyes dramatically. "I'd rather fight ten moh—"

He never finished the sentence.

Because the car suddenly jerked, the steering wheel spinning by itself.

"WHAT THE—??" Yuvaan grabbed it, startled.

The car swerved right.

Then left.

Then began reversing.

Reversing. On. Its. Own.

Aakash shouted, "YUVAAN! BRAKE! BRAKE! BRAKE!"

"I AM PRESSING IT!" Yuvaan yelled, stomping on the pedal, but the car kept reversing at full speed, heading straight back toward the mansion road.

Inside the nursery—

Kiaan giggled, steering his little toy car left and right. When he turned it backward… the real car screeched backward on the road.

When he tapped it twice… the car honked.

He found it hilarious.

Back on the road—

Aakash clutched the dashboard. "THIS CAR IS HAUNTED!"

Yuvaan's eyes widened as the mansion came into view again. "No… no… no way—your car doesn't do this!"

"My car?! YOU'RE DRIVING!" Aakash shrieked.

"I AM NOT DRIVING!" Yuvaan yelled back, gripping the spinning wheel.

The car skidded to a stop right outside the mansion gate—perfectly aligned.

Aakash and Yuvaan froze.

Silence.

Aakash whispered, "Did… did your car just… bring you home?"

Yuvaan blinked. "Either the car has a soul… or someone VERY tiny is messing with me."

Cut to—

In the nursery, Kiaan let out a proud, magical little squeal and clapped his hands.

His toy car beeped.

The real car outside beeped.

Kiara turned slowly, eyes widening. "Kiaan… baby… what exactly are you doing?"

Kiaan giggled again.
