Chapter 282 - Episode 282:✨Two Hearts in Exile✨

Yuvaan pushed open the door to their room, and the silence inside hit him like a blow. Her scent still lingered—soft, warm, familiar. The pillows looked untouched, the blankets neatly folded, the little trinkets she loved still resting on the table. Everything was hers… but she wasn't there.

He shut the door behind him and stood still for a long moment, hands trembling at his sides. Then, as though the weight finally became too much, he sank onto the edge of the bed. His fingers brushed the empty space where she used to sleep. The ache burst open.

He bowed his head and broke—silent tears first, then a choked sob that tore out of him before he could stop it.

"Kiara…" he whispered into the dim room, "how am I supposed to live without you for months…"

His shoulders shook violently, pain spilling over like a dam cracking.

A soft knock came. Before Yuvaan could wipe his tears, Angad stepped inside. The younger brother froze, shocked to see the ever-fearless Yuvaan shattered.

Without saying a word, Angad walked over and sat beside him. He placed a firm, steadying hand on Yuvaan's back.

"Bhai…" Angad murmured gently. "She's safe. You made sure of it."

Yuvaan covered his face with both hands. "I should be with her… she's out there—alone—because of me."

Angad tightened his hold. "No. She's out there because you love her. Because you chose her life over your own heart."

Yuvaan leaned into his brother's comfort, tears still streaming, the pain raw and open.

Far away, across the stretch of roaring sea, Kiara stepped onto the Forgotten Island. The shore was quiet, untouched, wild… yet strangely welcoming. For a moment, the loneliness pricked her heart. She wrapped her arms around her stomach.

"It's just you and me now," she whispered softly.

As if in response, a tiny pulse of warmth fluttered inside her. Then—suddenly—the island shifted.

Fireflies sparked around her, glowing like floating stars. A faint shimmer passed over the ground. She blinked—

—and flowers began blooming right at her feet. Soft blossoms unfurled in real time, forming a carpet of pinks and golds, stretching ahead like a magical pathway.

Kiara gasped. Her hand flew to her tummy.

"Baby… you did this?" Her voice trembled with awe. "You already made arrangements for mumma? Super baby."

She laughed softly through her tears and followed the glowing trail.

The flowers led her to a modest but beautiful wooden hut tucked between two ancient trees. Lanterns flickered to life on their own, illuminating the doorway as though welcoming her home.

Kiara stepped inside.

The cottage was simple—clean, warm, prepared. A bed with fresh sheets. Clay pots arranged neatly. A small dais with an image of Lord Shiva and Parvati waiting silently.

Overwhelmed, Kiara lit the lamp with shaking hands. The flame rose gently, casting a golden halo over the divine image.

She pressed her forehead to her hands.

"Mahadev… please protect us," she whispered. "Please keep Yuvaan safe too… he must be hurting."

Her voice cracked.

She touched her stomach again and closed her eyes, tears falling freely.

"I miss him… so much."

Far across the sea, in a lonely room, Yuvaan whispered the same words into the darkness.

Two hearts separated.

Two souls aching.

One child binding them with magic, hope… and love.

Varun hurried into the cave, breath uneven, eyes darting around the shadows. The cold stone walls echoed his anxious voice as he called her name.

"Dilruba…? Are you here? Please tell me Mohana didn't—"

A swirl of purple mist appeared behind him, and Dilruba stepped out of it, perfectly fine.

He spun around, relief crashing over him so fast he almost stumbled.

"Dilruba! You're okay?" He reached for her shoulders, checking her quickly for any sign of harm. "Why did you call me so urgently? You scared me."

Dilruba's lips curved into a mischievous smile. She stepped aside… revealing a small tent glowing with faint violet light.

Varun blinked. "A… tent?"

She nodded proudly. "Yes. Because I was missing you."

Varun stared at her. "Missing me? Dilruba, seriously? If you wanted us to—" he coughed, lowering his voice, "—spend time together, I could've booked a hotel room. You didn't need to summon me to a cave in the middle of nowhere."

Dilruba's eyes glimmered with wicked sweetness.

"A hotel room?" she teased. "But our first kiss happened in a cave…" She stepped close, trailing her fingers up his chest. "So I thought… maybe this is where we should continue that memory."

Varun swallowed hard. "Continue… wh-what memory?"

Dilruba slowly caught his shirt, pulling him closer until his back brushed the cold stone wall.

"What other stuff, hmm?" she whispered, voice smoky, eyes locked on his.

Before he could respond, she rose on her toes and pressed her lips to his—soft at first, then deepening as she kissed him with fierce urgency. Varun's breath hitched, his hands instinctively finding her waist as she pinned him gently to the wall.

"Dilruba…" he breathed, half warning, half surrender.

She silenced him with another kiss, slow and consuming, her fingers threading into his hair as the cave filled with the warmth of their closeness.

The violet glow around them brightened—like the cave itself remembered their history.

Their silhouettes blended together, wrapped in passion, the scene fading into the soft shimmer of purple light…
