Eric was a young girl from a small village, living with her father, Ozberk. Ozberk's dream was that both his children would get an education. Eric's brother, Taihmor, was studying in a big country, while Eric was also pursuing her education at a good university. Ozberk worked on a wealthy family's farm, where he looked after the horses. Eric loved horses dearly, and whenever she was at the farm, she would spend her time playing with them.
Eric's life was peaceful until the day her father's dream came true. Taihmor completed his studies in New York and settled there, supporting both his father and sister. Ozberk left the farm job and started a new business, leading their life towards improvement.
One day, while Eric was with the horses at the farm, she saw a girl, Polent—who bore enmity toward Eric—arrive with her brother Doruk. Polent's boyfriend, Can, who worked for Eric's father, was also with them. When Eric realized that Polent and Doruk had come to abduct her, she ran toward her father, but they caught her. Ozberk tried to protect Eric, but he was helpless against the gangsters.
Eric was kept captive for two days, and on the third day, a party was held where she was humiliated as they tried to humiliate her by pulling at her clothes, leaving her vulnerable in front of everyone. Murat, Eric's friend, appeared at the party and saved her. He wrapped his jacket around her, but when Eric's boyfriend arrived and saw her, he became furious. He assumed that everyone had touched Eric, though that wasn't true. Murat had saved her.
