Chief I always wanted to marry a rich man but in this village,poverty is like a sibling to every man in this village. What do you think I should do?" Agatha asked her uncle. "My dear , I have a native doctor friend who would help you but it would come with a very expensive price that you must pay ". Chief Charles her uncle replied
"Uncle no matter what price it is , I will pay willingly "Agatha replied . "Okay let's be on our way then " her uncle said. Hours later, Mr/Mrs Peter returned from the council to find out that the house was unusually empty as their daughter Agatha was no where to be seen. "ah ! ah! where is Aggy? She did tell me about any plans of leaving the house oh !" Mrs Ada said. "When I say that you're spoiling that girl you won't listen to me . Why would you let her stay at home alone when we were in the farm ? Are you insane? If you want your head still on your neck look for my daughter or else you will regret the day you married me ". Mr Peter roared . As Mrs Ada was about going to search for her daughter, a car drove in immediately and to their utmost surprise, their daughter was there.
"ah chief so this is you ? You didn't tell me that you were visiting and you even have a new car? " Mrs Ada asked as she was amazed by the quality of the car . "Sorry about the impromptu outing, I just wanted to take my little girl out after a very long time . She's grown more than the last time I saw her. Glory be to God oh . And about my car, that's just one of my toys . I have lots of them out there " Chief Charles said. "thank heavens that you're here because my husband was about to have me beheaded" Mrs Ada said. "why would he do something to like that? "Chief Charles asked. "he said I should search for his daughter because he thought she was kidnapped" Mrs Ada answered. "no now that's wrong. Let me go in and talk to him" the chief said .
Chief Charles went in as he saw his long childhood friend reading a news paper in his parlor."Ah! my boss..." Chief Charles said as he was interrupted by Mr Peter. "In your life don't ever call me boss again . Are you trying to insult me? With all the money you have chai . My brother longest time and I didn't know you took my daughter out oh . Thank you ; Agatha what do you say to Uncle?" Mr Peter asked. "Uncle thank you sir " she replied. They all laughed as Agatha left the room . "So how has the village been? How has everything been?" Chief Charles asked. "My brother everywhere just dry oh ; I'm even looking how I'm going to complete my daughter's fees so she would be able to write exams . Life has really dealt with us and we are struggling to survive " Mr Peter said as tears dropped from his eyes. "my brother your not supposed to be crying . You're a man please be strong" Chief Charles consoled him . Chief Charles took them out that afternoon and promised to be with them in all aspects of their life and see how he would make their lives better.
The next morning, Agatha was bleeding profusely and clutching her stomach and yelling," I'm in pain ; help me please don't let me die" Mrs Ada rushed to rescue her daughter who was weak and couldn't move
