Sho rubbed his tired eyes, scrolling through the glowing screen of his phone.
"Man… the SSS Rank guy just soloed the Demon King. If only life was that cool," he muttered.
His stomach growled.
"Guess I'll grab some ramen."
The convenience store's lights glowed softly against the night sky. Sho barely noticed the man in the hoodie until he heard it—
