Chapter 93 - Chapter 93 Awakening (Part 1)

"Look, our savior's friends are indeed extraordinary." Snape scrutinized Ron, who was covered in bandages, with his gloomy eyes, and mocked him, revealing a hint of malicious smile.

"Who can tell me, what does Gryffindor, the symbol of bravery, do? Weasley, may I ask the esteemed warrior, did you steal a dragon's egg or pull out a Basilisk's tooth?" Snape even used honorifics, but everyone could hear the malice in his words. The Slytherin students couldn't help but burst into laughter. Even the Gryffindor students couldn't help but desperately try to suppress their laughter. For a time, the Potions class was filled with a lively atmosphere.

Compared to the healing effects of the Muggle society, the methods of wizards were very effective. Even with such serious injuries, Ron was able to participate in the class after only a few days of recuperation. Harry and Hermione advised him to rest for a few more days, but Ron insisted on coming back to class. The first two days were fine. Most of the students selectively forgot about his farce, but when it came to Snape's Potions class, this was his home field.

Ron originally thought that he was mentally prepared, but when faced with Snape's sarcasm, he was still furious, but he didn't know how to fight back.

"I think my friend has already received the punishment he deserved. Is it a little inappropriate for you to do this as a teacher? For example, taking pleasure in making fun of students. Professor Dumbledore would not be happy to see his students being ridiculed like this," Hermione stood up, raised her head and looked directly at Snape, and said neither humble nor arrogant.

Snape's laughter stopped, as if he had been strangled by the neck. His face became even darker. "My behavior does not need you to point fingers at, Miss Know-it-all," he said coldly, and finally added: "For talking back to the teacher, Gryffindor loses five points."

Hermione sat down without caring, and Ron whispered thank you to her.

After such a commotion, the students' laughter finally stopped, and the Potions class began to enter the main topic.

"Today, what we are going to learn to make is the Shrinking Solution." Snape glanced at his students faintly. Seeing that most of the students were very attentive, he was quite satisfied. Then he began to explain the preparation method and precautions of this potion.

"This is a very complicated potion. It requires a lot of materials, and the shape of the materials is also very demanding. Unevenly cut materials put into the cauldron will also affect the efficacy of the potion." Snape seemingly unintentionally walked to Ron's side again, and said maliciously: "This warrior won't let others help you complete this work, right? You are right? Mr. Weasley."

"I believe you can cut it very well." Snape "kindly" patted Ron on the shoulder.

"Of course, Professor." Ron said slowly. He slowly took out a box of pre-cut ingredients from his bag with his one good hand. "Thank you for your concern, I have already prepared it before."

Harry bet that Snape's face wouldn't be so bad even if he swallowed two Dungbombs in a row.

The three of them had long thought of Snape's possible difficulties and had specially prepared precautions in advance.

Snape, who was bored here, continued to wander around, looking for his next target. Almost without thinking, Neville was targeted by him again. He specially walked up to Neville and said: "I think some students must take some special measures to stimulate his talent in Potions, Longbottom, don't you think?"

"Yes, yes." Neville responded timidly to Snape, obviously not realizing what kind of trouble he would encounter.

"Then, after your potion is completed, how about feeding it to your pet? I look forward to seeing a tadpole, but I think there is a greater chance that a toad corpse will be left behind." Snape left these words and strode back to the podium. Coming down from the podium just now, he seemed to be here specifically to find Gryffindor's fault.

"Draco, tell me, what deep hatred does the professor have with Gryffindor?" Pansy pulled Malfoy's sleeve and asked in a low voice. Her potion has now entered a stable waiting stage, so she can spare a little attention. Girls usually like to pay attention to this type of secret.

"Stop gossiping, focus on your work, and your potion has changed color. Hurry up and add figs. Do you also want to cook a pot of poison?" Malfoy threw some chopped daisies into the cauldron expressionlessly, and didn't answer this question. He was interested, but he still reminded Pansy.

Pansy immediately stretched her head back in front of her cauldron, glanced at it, and said angrily: "You lied to me again." The potion in her cauldron was still bubbling, showing a bright green color, which means that all that needs to be done now is waiting.

"I'm just fulfilling someone's wish to study hard this semester. Don't be distracted during class." Malfoy said seriously. Potions class is very similar to the experimental class in Muggle society. Serious treatment should be necessary. Many experimental accidents occur in distraction.

"Okay, okay, you're right, can't I just not ask?" Pansy turned her head away again, focusing on observing her potion.

After another ten minutes, Snape's voice resounded throughout the classroom again, "I think everyone should have completed the preparation work just now, and now you can officially start brewing." Then he said in a dazed tone: "Mr. Longbottom, I will keep a close eye on you so as not to blow up our laboratory."

A burst of laughter came from a group of Slytherin students. Many fine beads of sweat appeared on Neville's fat round face. He was extremely nervous. He was not good at Potions, and it was even more difficult for him to perform well when Snape was watching him closely.

Hermione wanted to help him, but she and Harry had to help Ron complete the potion, not to mention that Snape was still watching Neville closely, she had no chance at all.

She guessed that Ron had just given Snape a nail, and Snape began to target Neville.

"I'm sorry." Hermione said softly in her heart, and then secretly set up a cauldron next to her and began to brew a new potion. Looking at the recipe, it should be an antidote.

"Very good, everyone should have completed the preparation of the potion now." Snape immediately announced the end of the class when he saw that Neville's potion had turned into a mass of black mud, "Now, please clean up the table according to the process I taught you, and also your own body. I don't want anyone to poison themselves while eating." Snape's eyes looked at Harry harshly.
